The timeline for this DHS Coup is clear.

One: Hillary will surely win the election.
    Two: Trump won the election.
Three: Trump won because Russia “hacked the election” in his favor.
Four: We must protect our national election process from foreign hacking.
Five: Homeland Security must put itself in charge of national elections.

This is a really slick set-up, doncha find?

Quote: Election infrastructure includes polling places, centralized vote tabulations locations, storage facilities and voter registration databases and voting machines, Johnson said. Avauncer

Have always suspected it may be a potential coup, or at least provide a pretext for whipping people into a frenzy (we have examples of that here, sadly). Get everyone riled up, and use the perceived "offense" to justify calling it an act of war.

What nuts like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, for example, have done with this is just scary as *$#t.

McCain is trying to get people in the intelligence community to basically agree Russia has committed acts of war against the U.S.

Yeah, just scary as *#%t. Shadow government at work? And Senior intelligence officials stating Russia injected "fake news" into the election process/news cycle.

      I call BS.

      • HoTaters HoTaters

The "end game." Likely to try to instigate a war (war against Russia, BAD idea). Or try to get Hilary into office. Or? Who knows what these kooks are cooking up.

Some of us have begun to see through this.

        Others, not so much.

    • HoTaters HoTaters

irh, yes, DHS in charge of elections. A likely outcome. They control just about everything else, now. Why not?

  • You Americans have one of the most technologically advanced intelligence operations in the world why would you doubt them? I mean they were the first ones to realize Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction right? And 17 years and many more billions of dollars invested into a bloody conflict in a foreign land resulting in 1,000's of fine young American soldiers deaths and maimings and many more foreign civilian men, women and children deaths and injuries finally you guys are closing in on those terrible weapons of mass destruction….right?

People here are not really arguing over fairy tales. Some people are really pro Nuke. Some people want the federal lands sold off so they can make money on uranium mining. The fairy tales are sometimes propaganda to cover up the fact that they are really pro Nuke.

So none of it is trivial, it just seems that way to someone hasn't followed the arguments for 6 years.

And then many people have already died who used to blog here.

You, yourself said that you are proNuke.

Even the sun with fusion energy emits radiation that kills unprotected people outside the shield of the earth's atmosphere. There is no way to produce fusion energy without deadly radiation. Even God can't do that.

                  "Uranium mining in the US?"

Is this dialog a comedy show?

"The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.
…the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States.
…the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton."

Can YOU be ANTI-nuke AND pro-CLINTON??

                      A False ‘Corruption’ Claim

“…Clinton did not have the authority to unilaterally approve that deal.
As secretary of state, Clinton was one of nine voting members of the foreign investment committee in 2010 that approved the uranium deal, which was then approved by the president and passed through the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.…”

Why didn't the president or the NRC veto the decision which was made by a 9 member committee?

                    • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

The NRC are the ones with the final approval. Why not blame the NRC? Because the Republicans always make up false stories in order to win the elections.

They actually lost this election by almost 3 million votes.

Damn, I really hadn't thought of that. Maybe a dood did not write a book, get it published, get an interview/review with the New York Times, who then published and stuck it on the net and in print.

Maybe it was released in private, so no one could find it, no one could bring it to public view and attention. The NYT had to be very sneaky about this, so we could not or would not ever know about this.

We could not possibly know if it's true if they kept it private, no public record or knowledge of this private non event.

One thing is for sure, this poor bastard is breathing a sigh of relief thanks to your astute cognitive skills:

"In Wyoming, where Uranium One equipment is scattered across his 35,000-acre ranch, John Christensen is frustrated that repeated changes in corporate ownership over the years led to French, South African, Canadian and, finally, Russian control over mining rights on his property."

“I hate to see a foreign government own mining rights here in the United States,” he said. “I don’t think that should happen.”

"If they didn't release the statement publicly how the hell do you know it's true…"

                    Some HippyDog braincandy

'Soon, Uranium One began to snap up companies with assets in the United States. In April 2007, it announced the purchase of a uranium mill in Utah and more than 38,000 acres of uranium exploration properties in four Western states, followed quickly by the acquisition of the Energy Metals Corporation and its uranium holdings in Wyoming, Texas and Utah. That deal made clear that Uranium One was intent on becoming “a powerhouse in the United States uranium sector with the potential to become the domestic supplier of choice for U.S. utilities,” the company declared.'

The national security issue at stake in the Uranium One deal was not primarily about nuclear weapons proliferation; the United States and Russia had for years cooperated on that front, with Russia sending enriched fuel from decommissioned warheads to be used in American nuclear power plants in return for raw uranium.

Instead, it concerned American dependence on foreign uranium sources. While the United States gets one-fifth of its electrical power from nuclear plants, it produces only around 20 percent of the uranium it needs, and most plants have only 18 to 36 months of reserves.

“The Russians are easily winning the uranium war, and nobody’s talking about it. It’s not just a domestic issue but a foreign policy issue, too.”

The $500,000 fee — among Mr. Clinton’s highest — was paid by a Russian investment bank with ties to the Kremlin

                    Really? 😆

We just spent almost 6 years discussing Fukushima and radiation.

The only candidates for president against nuclear energy just lost out in the nominating process or the election: Sen. Bernie Sanders, Dr. Jill Stein.

As long as the 2 party system is controlled by the nuclear cabal, we can only close one reactor at a time.

And the nuclear waste problem will never, ever be solved. But Trump wants to transport nuclear waste to Yucca Mountain which isn't even an acceptable site. And there have already been too many transport accidents.

And Hanford will never be cleaned up. This is where much of our food is grown and the Columbia River is already destroyed with radionuclides forever. And they threw away the radiation monitoring devices in Boise, Idaho, which received much from nuclear testing, is downwind from both Hanford and Fukushima and not that far from the nuclear national laboratory in Idaho, and they are shipping tons of nuclear waste to completely destroy the state. And when all that nuclear aste causes a massaive volcano at Yellowstone, most of the US will be completely wiped out.

We are also downwind from China's growing nuclear energy program. Floating nuclear power plants should be outlawed as the water reaches the shores of the US and Canada.

      • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

Hillary actually ran in 2008 that we shouldn't have more nuclear energy until the nuclear waste problem is solved.

And she won this election by almost 3,000,000 votes. And still we just have the biggest pro-Nuke, uneducated moron in the White House who is actually for using nuclear weapons, nuclear proliferation, and many more nuclear power plants, all of which we all have to pay for with way too many taxes, while the rich and elite get out of their taxes. The kleptomaniacs are destroying and bankrupting the country and still spending more and more on nuclear technology. There shouldn't be anyone in the world buying any nuclear reactor from all the failed sellers of nuclear energy. Tensure that there is no raw chickpea flour flavor and adjust salt if needed.
5.Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and even it out using a spatula if needed. Let it cool, then refrigerate for atleast an hour to set.
6.Remove the set slab from the pan. Slice into cubes. Store in an airtight container for upto 4 days. The tofu can leak some moisture while it sits. drain and use.
The people running nuclear energy plants are totally incompetent and the owners falsify all the failed safety checks. There is a complete disregard for human life or even the human genome. People continually dumbed down miorfrom nuclear radiation more and more can't run nuclear energy plants and no company can afford to spend money on parts that are not effective. No country can possibly afford…

How To Keep Trump From Becoming President? 25th Amendment Could Declare Republican Mentally Unfit

“Amid widespread protests and worrying signs of dysfunction in the administration of President-elect Donald Trump, millions across the United States are likely wondering how, or if, it's possible to oust the billionaire from the White House before the 2020 presidential election. While there have long been talks of impeachment hearings, a favorite theory this week for removing Trump from power involves the 25th amendment to the Constitution.

“The amendment was approved in 1967, pushed into existence in the wake of the stunning 1963 death of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in Dallas. The Constitution had never officially laid out a succession plan that detailed how, exactly, a vice-president should take power should a president no longer be able to carry out his or her duties. Up until the amendment, vice presidents effectively took over because of a precedent set by Vice President John Tyler in 1841, according to the National Constitution Center. The 25th amendment clearly spelled out that a vice president took over if a president died, resigned or, importantly, was removed from office….”

    'Temperatures are Plunging'

"…The only way to get honest data is end taxing for global warming. Keep the regulation to prevent spewing out pollution. Let’s be honest. It was the regulations that cleaned the air – not the recent taxes for global warming. The government has a vested interest in such propaganda and cannot admit the research is bogus without then having to drop the taxes. So it is a one way street. Global warming/climate change = taxes revenue…

…They whole system is skewed to corruption. That is why whenever we provide ANY help to governments, WE REFUSE to accept any payment whatsoever. Take 50 cents from government and you quickly find there is a string attached. We have ALWAYS donated our time to all governments and have never taken one cent in return or favors. Governments around the globe come to us all the time when they want to know what is really happening. The “economists” they pay for fake studies they also do not listen to because they know the reality of their forecasts. It’s all just a game. Even when I testified before Congress, the House Way & Means Committee apologized for having to create a panel with these bought economists and put me on last because they had no other “real” people to testify."

Nuclear weapons destroy our own country all the time with plutonium from nuclear energy, weapons production, weapons testing, nuclear waste. And if they use them on another country, the radiation circles the globe every 40 days. It is ridiculous to think that any nuclear weapons are ever safe. Fukushima has probably already done this country in. The IQ around this election doesn't seem very high. It is all very sad and getting sadder.

                    • Code has serious problems with reading comprehension?

I doubt it after reading some of the messages above so how does the point that mining and storage are currently a bigger threat locally that a missile launch.

After all no one has ever launched one (at war) and yet they are in our environment 24-7…

So the real threat we are currently facing is the potential contamination from the production and storage of these totally useless things.

So how does one take a statement like that and turn it into a statement like this?

"Hippie Dog just said unless we use our nuclear weapons"

On purpose that's how, that's the only way unless you are inept or insane.

And this kind of twisting is not enough unless tagging it with someone else name in a twisted attempt to discredit them…

Wow, stuff like this is so obvious, grow up codeshutdown… Those that refuse to be sidetracked and/or brainwashed by you are giggling at your pathetic attempts to cause problems and spout misinformation…

Code gets the "bored shutin housewife award"

Causing conflict for the sake of a soap opera lifestyle that isn't worth the electricity used to produce it.

                    • Any time you see this kind of misinformation and downright propaganda remember these points:

                      1) this is a attempt to gather some (fictitious) personal power by discrediting others…

2)Has been used through history and is well documented from the first world war until now.

Hitler was infamous for it as was most other fascist people seeking power. Since they have no real power and can't find a way to get any legitimately, they turn to lies and propaganda for opinions that help them garner attention regardless of the truth.

                      3) When the truth and facts don't help them directly, they make stuff up out of bits and pieces of information and will NEVER use the actual complete quote in any references.

It (the propaganda) is then stacked with other people and references that have nothing to do with the original statement(s).

These morally challenged folks have no discernment of the importance of representing the actual truth.

The facts are just something to be twisted and manipulated into whatever their little hearts desire for personal gain of some kind (in this case to discredit others and garner attention)…

This is a classic example of a truth turned into a shocking lie to get attention…

This form of propaganda, manipulations and lies used to gain attention either has a nefarious agenda or is a mental health issue…

Readers beware of these totally false statements…

                    • There are essentially 2 key ingredients to misinformation:

                      1) Make a subject incomprehensible! They don't really care about the subject at hand, they really just want to argue and create false issues to stop the solution from being found (and any real points of fact are your enemy and you are the stupid one).

So bury the actual solutions in stacks of falsehoods and in implied ineptitude and make the whole convoluted thing so complicated even a expert can't explain the complete mess of crap you've woven to stop them, then use denial to appear or feel superior.

                      Here's a great example…

                      2) Reinforce your (totally false) position with complete lies twisted from derived tidbits of actual fact, twisted into a complete lie and then (they) hope the uninformed will believe it.

This is school kid stuff, many more than you think already know how rumors about others get spread…

Here's one every bit as silly as much of the propaganda I've seen posted here…

                      And another example…

Mature and well thought out research???

Based on real facts and opinions???

                      Like proven and stuff???

                      Yea right…

Learn how to discern, your mental health may depend on it…

Im more than willing to listen to experts HDog. Help us out then; Do you think Fukushima has anything to do with the mass animal deaths we are seeing in the Pacific or the spike in infant mortality in the U.S.? Answer that with a yes or no if you like. And if you DO think Fukushima is damaging the Pacific, then do you DISAGREE with the EXPERTS? Ooh pick me pick me! YES! Yes you would disagree with the accepted, verified, scientific majority. Bummer then because you would just be deciding what the truth is. Now, since Hippie Dog is here and "we and others are working full time to keep you in a happy life, free from undue problems, oppression and/or problems you haven't even thought of yet" as you say, then the other "we" must conclude you HAVE decided to disagree with the experts. So…the 10 million becquerel question; WHY? How do you explain it? How could this nuclear fallout be so damaging when its a fraction of one percent of the radiation already in the ocean, what to say your body which is five times more radioactive than ocean water? HDog is SO SURE of him/itself that we can depend on an answer. What is the ratio of toxicity of this nuclear fallout compared to background radiation….and WHAT are you doing full time to keep us happy and free? Please be specific, because I cant help your previous posts are all devoid of content. Thanks in advance

                      So HDog emphatically does NOT disagree with the experts. Lets check the website he says is verified trusted proven information, a website everyone should bookmark. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you WOODS HOLE;

"Is radiation a concern along U.S. and Canadian coasts?
the concentration of cesium-137 and -134 in these samples is well below levels of concern. "

"Has Fukushima been responsible for the deaths of marine animals in the Pacific?
To date, there have been no reliable links made between radiation in the Pacific and mass die-offs of marine mammals, birds, fish, or invertebrates. "

Does HDog agree or disagree with his own linked experts? He says NOT, which I guess means "does not disagree"

                    • CodeShutdown CodeShutdown

                      Taking HDog to task pt II;
HDog says "…codeshutdown, you have desired for all of us to accept your conspiracy and it's a lie, it's just your lie code."

What is this presumed lie? For the umpteenth time, Ive been pointing out that fallout is more dangerous than accepted by mainstream scientists like Woods Hole, as shown by exhaustive research of Chernobyl. The ECRR says roughly 1000 times. But even so, fukushima fallout would only EQUAL background toxicity and STILL be below official standards. This made me wonder if the science on background radiation was true or not. It turns out that we couldnt find one study showing toxicity of this background oceanic radioactivity, and in fact a few studies showed no toxicity even when it was boosted 100 times.

We see from every media release that fallout is compared to background and declared safe, yet actual studies show fallout is astronomically WORSE and background is LESS harmful than officially assumed. That is the basis for any cogent argument against official narratives that say Fukushima is of no consequence, as we have just seen above from HDogs link.

And there you have it; what HDog says is a conspiracy theory lie

                  • "Taking Hippie Dog to task;

Required reading for 2017, George Orwell – '1984'
"It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. Winston Smith, his chin nuzzled into his breast in an effort to escape the vile wind, slipped quickly through the glass doors of Victory Mansions, though not quickly enough to prevent a swirl of gritty dust from entering along with him.

The hallway smelt of boiled cabbage and old rag mats. At one end of it a coloured poster, too large for indoor display, had been tacked to the wall. It depicted simply an enormous face, more than a metre wide: the face of a man of about forty-five, with a heavy black moustache and ruggedly handsome features. Winston made for the stairs. It was no use trying the lift. Even at the best of times it was seldom working, and at present the electric current was cut off during daylight hours. It was part of the economy drive in preparation for Hate Week. The flat was seven flights up, and Winston, who was thirty-nine and had a varicose ulcer above his right ankle, went slowly, resting several times on the way. On each landing, opposite the lift-shaft, the poster with the enormous face gazed from the wall. It was one of those pictures which are so contrived that the eyes follow you about when you move. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, the caption beneath it ran."

Narcissism, disagreeableness, grandiosity—a psychologist investigates how Trump’s extraordinary personality might shape his possible presidency.

“In 2006, Donald Trump made plans to purchase the Menie Estate, near Aberdeen, Scotland, aiming to convert the dunes and grassland into a luxury golf resort. He and the estate’s owner, Tom Griffin, sat down to discuss the transaction at the Cock & Bull restaurant. Griffin recalls that Trump was a hard-nosed negotiator, reluctant to give in on even the tiniest details. But, as Michael D’Antonio writes in his recent biography of Trump, Never Enough, Griffin’s most vivid recollection of the evening pertains to the theatrics. It was as if the golden-haired guest sitting across the table were an actor playing a part on the London stage.

“’It was Donald Trump playing Donald Trump,’ Griffin observed. There was something unreal about it.
“The same feeling perplexed Mark Singer in the late 1990s when he was working on a profile of Trump for The New Yorker. Singer wondered what went through his mind when he was not playing the public role of Donald Trump. What are you thinking about, Singer asked him, when you are shaving in front of the mirror in the morning? Trump, Singer writes, appeared baffled. Hoping to uncover the man behind the actor’s mask, Singer tried a different tack:

“’O.K., I guess I’m asking, do you consider yourself ideal company?’

“’You really want to know what I consider ideal company?,’ Trump replied. ‘A total piece of ass.’

“I might have phrased Singer’s question this way: Who are you, Mr. Trump, when you are alone? Singer never got an answer, leaving him to conclude that the real-estate mogul who would become a reality-TV star and, after that, a leading candidate for president of the United States had managed to achieve something remarkable: ‘an existence unmolested by the rumbling of a soul.’

To become a mogul and a star managed to question leaving him to conclude that it would be different if the answer was phrased in a way that achieved by something remarkable

‘Malignant And Psychopathic’ Donald Trump? Expert Studies 600 Hours Of Trump Footage
    March 9, 2016

“Sam Vaknin, a mental health expert and author, has studied over 600 hours of Donald Trump footage and made the harsh conclusion that Donald Trump is not simply a classic narcissist — he is, in fact, a ‘malignant and, probably, psychopathic narcissist.’

“A narcissist feels grandiose and self-important, and often exaggerates to the point of lying his or her accomplishments and skills. A narcissist is obsessed with fantasies of “unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence.” The narcissist is convinced that he or she is special and, because of that, should be treated as a high-status person. A narcissist requires “excessive admiration” and feels entitled, demanding special and often unreasonable treatment. A narcissist is ‘interpersonally exploitative,’ using others to achieve his or her own goals, and is also devoid of empathy. A narcissist is also envious of others and will seek to hurt or destroy people, and, lastly, a narcissist 'behaves arrogantly and haughtily,' and 'rages when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted by people he or she considers inferior to him or her and unworthy.'

“None of the traits are flattering, to say the least — and the idea of the president of the United States holding not just one but all of them should be frightening, say mental health experts.

    • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

“One of many mannerisms of Trump that concerned Vaknin is his unwillingness to tell the truth which may, in fact, be less of an unwillingness to do so and more of an inability.

“Trump confabulates a lot and has grandiose fantasies, which he has come to believe in, thus partially and intermittently losing touch with reality (delusionally ‘failing the reality test’),” Vaknin explains.

“Another area of concern is Trump’s hypervigilance, which is to the point of actual paranoia. He feels ‘besieged by conjured enemies and imaginary slights to his person, appearance, or accomplishments,’ Vaknin explains. “He reacts aggressively and vindictively to such perceived narcissistic injuries and humiliations. His is a siege mentality.”

“And, the fact that Vaknin described Trump as a “compulsive attention-seeker” who is willing to go to any length in order to get the attention will surprise no one, even Trump supporters….

“And not only does Trump enjoy hurting others, Vaknin says, he actually has a talent for it.
“’…He therefore resonates powerfully and intimately with the hidden hopes, dreams, fantasies, delusions, and negative emotions (rage, hatred, fear) of his ‘constituencies.’ He is a consummate predator.’

  • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

Donald Trump ..He is sick..How does that get proven? Cognitive issues? Mental Illness..sick man.

“The time has come for us to look at the republican nominee as more than a bigoted, hateful, shameless candidate. I am no health professional but with Hippa laws, how can we demand a psychological evaluation of this man?

“My Father had Alzheimers and before medication became combative with extreme cognitive issues. My daughter ( granddaughter) is Bi-Polar and I have been around enough veterans who suffer from personality disorder, OCD and this is not even including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to see the behavior which is not that much unlike Donald Trump. The man appears to have a lot of these diagnoses. He may have started out with personality disorder and Bi-polar but has now with age become stricken with Dementia or early onset of Alzheimers. Donald Trump cannot finish a sentence. He is extremely not coherent in his ramblings and angry about everything. He could have all kinds of mental health issues and the American people who follow him just hear what rambling of the moment he has and like. He is all over the place with his hate and flip flopping. This is more than hate. Hate would be many things but defensive is not one of them. He goes on the defensive after lashing out when it comes back. Hate is consistent as well. He is anything but consistent.

    • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

I wonder how much he actually remembers of what he says. He says he does not drink or do drugs. That is a probably a lie or he needs to be medicated in some manner to be functional.

“I am wondering also if he is along with many other things, DELUSIONAL. Does he believe these things he is saying? The American people who are rallying around him have made me head scratch. This is becoming sadder each day. Not only for a country, but for the mental health that is needed in this country….We should never accept or get used to irrational behavior and that has become more and more common since the year 2000.

“Punch me on this diary if you like.. but something is wrong here. Something of dire urgency. There is a man running for the highest office in the land with some serious problems. SERIOUS Problems.

“Mental health professionals have studied his behavior …

“We need to find out now… and approach the sane with any findings we can. This man is very unhinged and it is our peril should he think this whole time he is on some reality show. We should take everyone’s mental illness issue serious but especially a man running for the highest office in the land. It is troubling that we may be confusing an everyday bigot or evil with insanity. Howard Hughes had money but please, remember how unhinged he was? Can we not demand mental health papers released? If not to us then to the RNC or someone who can validate a national security threat?…”

remember, Trumps one cranial nerve can only hold one thought, if that. It could be, as they are saying that a possibility for cognitive difficulty has arisen out of a neglect for the common methods which everyone known would quell the urgent needs which rally, not only our country but the irrational behavior which has become rampant since the validation of troubling facts come to light. Can we demand an unhinged and probably delusional question to be answered by mental health professionals who have studied this behavior in multi cohort studies at the home base? PINCH me if this is a fairy tale or the highest office which is sadder each day, not just today but considering the health problems we can DEMAND a validation of the manner in which to be functional. FOR THIS COUNTRY if not for our HOMELAND football team and the cancer victims and puppy dogs starving in india!

I've seen Anne post very little else for some time now. In case you haven't noticed, there is no administrator in the sense of moderation or even oversight. Its a computer program, and the only entity interested in content is probably the NSA.

Anne, I really do feel you've made your point many times over. Please post info relevant to intricacies of energy integration, however complex or however overlapping the implications are to Gaia systems.

But really, Anne. Your political point has been made, and when you dip into realms of "what does Meryl Streep" say, you've become merely a piece of fluff no serious minded energy researcher would respect.

I posted all kinks of nuclear information last night and every day for almost 6 years. I took many classes from free online classes in engineering, nuclear engineering, complex variables, energy, Chinese, physics, quantum mechanics, solar energy, and astronomy, earthquakes, computer programming, statistics and statistical mechanics to have the background for my teaching and to post on this website.

Whenever Trump posts misinformation, it is relevant news. I posted Trump's mistake, not information on Meryl Streep.

            This is my website.

Anne, you know thermodynamics and have a high level of mathematics. Congratulations, its quite an accomplishment. I wonder why, when we were talking about the capacity of nuclear reactors to heat the ocean, that you didnt contribute anything. A quick calculation, a ballpark quantification? You just repeated that nuclear causes global and oceanic warming…which…qualitatively is misleading.

If you boil water in a pressure cooker to one bar and 250 degrees, and then open a valve which directs the steam to a surface, can you calculate the temperature of the steam, and can you calculate the temperature of the condensation on the impacted surface and tell us the name of that important concept? Not doubting your degree, just wondering if you hide that prowess

“…Exelon's Braidwood nuclear plant in Illinois has received federal permission to increase the maximum temperature limit for its cooling water, which researchers say could be a growing problem for nuclear plants….

“When cooling water is warmer, greater volumes are needed to cool the reactor. Plants also typically need approval from the NRC to increase the amount of water they use for cooling or to install new technology — like larger pumps — in order to deal with warmer conditions….”

anne, the answer should have been obvious; the pressure/temperature correlation is one of the foundations of thermodynamics and anyone who studied it would know that latent heat is the important concept in condensation, steam being the prime example often given and why steam is more dangerous than hot water. Why did you take a thermodynamics course, only to come away empty handed?

                CYBERSTALKING ATTACK #10,181.

I'm just aggregating the news. When Trump fires Moniz who was in charge of nuclear research at MIT, and replaces him with someone who just happened to live in Texas, but isn't a scientist at all, there is a problem.

When he fires those who are supposed to be presenting the nuclear budget to Congress, who is he replacing them with?

Trump and the Republicans are pushing to replace people who haven't been vetted for ethics violations amd who have financial conflicts of interests there is a real problem especially where national security is involved and nuclear weapons and nuclear energy are involved.

Is he going to replace our scientists with Russians scientists? He has been quoted as saying he wants to join with Russia and use nuclear weapons to conquer the world.

Anyone in public office is accountable to the people even if he won by voter fraud and voter registration manipulation.

The recounts failed because there was so much cheating going on there was no way to recount the vote. This is not American democracy, but a take over by a foreign government aided by globalists who are not loyal to the US.

If nuclear weapons are used, everyone in the whole world will suffer the consequences. I cray over all the people suffering from nuclear radiation all over the world. Psychopaths have no empathy for anyone. Narcissists are mentally ill and only consider themselves.

I am posting thoughtful political analysis.

Why is Trump putting someone as Secretary of Defense who is not a physicist and knows nothing about nuclear weapons? Why did he just fire those who are responsible for the security of the nation?

This website is about the tragedy of nuclear technology and the pervasive nuclear radiation that is killing the planet.

I volunteered for the army after 9/11, volunteered for the State Dept. and the FBI, but was not accepted because I am disabled and too old. Also, with my Christian and pacifist background I wasn't really a good candidate to be interviewing Arabic prisoners of war.

As far as the State Dept., I would have had to finance myself to go to Washington,DC, to take the exam in Arabic to be a translator, and I am very disable and very poor and need to eat special food, etc., and I needed to work more than part time. So I eventually stopped studying for the exam. Also, I wasn't taught to speak Arabic, but to read and write Classical Arabic. I read mostly mystical poetry and philosophy in Arabic.

ALERT: Democrat & Republican Leaders To Declare Donald Trump “Mentally Incompetent” (UPDATES)
    admin August 4, 2016

“Apparently this isn’t a joke, nor is it merely another snide attempt to smear Donald Trump and the Trump campaign.

“Sources indicate a concerted effort is now underway among a group of Establishment Democrats and Republicans to try and convince the American people that Donald Trump is mentally unfit to serve as President of the United States. These forces don’t need actual medical verification of their claims, but rather seek to merely have it confirmed within the court of public opinion.”

Too Sick To Lead: The Lethal Personality Disorder Of Donald Trump
    Jun 04, 2016
Richard North Patterson Novelist and contributing opinion write

“…Donald Trump is altogether different -and infinitely more dangerous. He is afflicted with a comprehensive and profound character disorder which leaves no corner of his psyche whole. And this dictates – and explains – every aspect of his behavior.

“Take his recourse to bullying and slander. ‘I'm a counterpuncher," he rationalizes. "[I]'ve been responding to what they did to me.’ Now we understand, Donald – your enemies made you do it….

“A recent example typifies his psychological imbalance. Speaking at a rally in San Diego, he tried to shame an otherwise obscure federal judge in the city, who is presiding over a lawsuit against Trump University. Trump called the Indiana – born judge a ‘Mexican’, a ‘hater of Donald Trump’ and a ‘very hostile person’ who had ‘railroaded’ him. Heedless of his position or his audience, Trump wallowed in his personal grievances so long that his listeners grew restive. And so, yet again, the campaign for president descended into the poisonous murk of Trump's inner world….

“ It is another symptom of Trump's pathology – the visceral reflex to humiliate and degrade anyone who displeases him, no matter the context or situation….

    • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

“Opposition of any kind enrages him. He incites reprisals against protesters. He threatened violence in Cleveland as payback for the GOP's ‘unfairness." He fuels anger against Hispanics, Muslims, and other minorities whom he perceives as inimical. And never – not once – does he take any responsibility for stirring these toxic pots. For one of the symptoms of his disability is an absence of conscience or accountability.

“So what did women do to him, one wonders? The offense was obviously grave, for his misogyny is endless and, it seems, uncontrollable. One can but identify the same symptoms which drive his comprehensive impulse to demean- the need to dominate, displeasure at feeling thwarted and, of course, a profound lack of empathy for anyone but himself. …

“ Consistent with his character disorder, Trump proudly insists that his chief advisor is himself. Even were he so inclined, in order to learn from others he must know enough to discern good advice from bad. But such is his pathology that he feels no need to learn much of anything from anyone. And so, from the beginning, he has plunged us down the bottomless rabbit hole of his intellectual emptiness.

Memories of power , crooks and truth..

The Fact That 17 Intelligence Agencies Confirmed Russia is Behind the Email Hacks Isn’t Actually…a Fact

"..The “17 agencies that actually confirmed” it was the Russians? Well it turns out that was one guy, namely DCI James Clapper: the head of US intelligence. The same man who committed perjury before congress after his NSA surveillance program was leaked. He issued a statement that included the phrase:

We believe, based on the scope and sensitivity of these efforts, that only Russia’s senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.

The very next sentence is also of interest:

Some states have also recently seen scanning and probing of their election-related systems, which in most cases originated from servers operated by a Russian company. However, we are not now in a position to attribute this activity to the Russian Government.

The word “confirmed” does not appear anywhere in this statement.

So when HRC stated the “17 intelligence agencies have confirmed” I was anticipating what that would turn up in the “fact checking” apparatus, which allegedly exists to objectively test the assertions of both candidates in real time.

The “fact checking” around this statement would be comical if not infuriatingly Orwellian: ABC called it “a true fact”."

He initiated NDAA, which throws US citizens into his worldwide drone kill zone, and his use of drones is fatally inhumane to our culture.

The U.S. establishment is not content simply to have domination over the media narratives on critical foreign policy issues, such as Syria, Ukraine and Russia. It wants total domination. Thus we now have the “Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act” that President Obama signed into law on Dec. 23 as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2017, setting aside $160 million to combat any “propaganda” that challenges Official Washington’s version of reality.

The new law mandates the U.S. Secretary of State to collaborate with the Secretary of Defense, Director of National Intelligence and other federal agencies to create a Global Engagement Center “to lead, synchronize, and coordinate efforts of the Federal Government to recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining United States national security interests.” The law directs the Center to be formed in 180 days and to share expertise among agencies and to “coordinate with allied nations.”

The legislation was initiated in March 2016, as the demonization of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia was already underway and was enacted amid the allegations of “Russian hacking” around the U.S.

“…Totalitarianism rises not just by exploiting our prejudices, to be bad and terrible people — but most subtly, by exploiting our biases to be good and decent people….

“Historically, totalitarianism rises because societies are reluctant, hesitant, and afraid to call it what it is.

“Arendt, Viktor Frankl, and nearly every other great scholar of fascism made precisely this point, over and over again. MLK said it thus:
“’The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.’…

“The first thing the ‘what if we’re wrong? then we’ll look bad!’ tweet reveals are three eternal tendencies of public figures: to prioritize looks over substance, reputation over reality, and being right over finding truth….

“Demagogues, knowing post modern society’s preference for evidence-evaluation over ethics-evaluation, are able to exploit this bias. They are able to openly and publicly call for all manner of wrongs — from walls to ethnic cleansing to unpersoning — and the media, the intellectuals, the scholars, are left scratching their heads. Without the evidence, they cannot make the claim that he is wrong — but there is no evidence, yet, for the actions have not been undertaken. What the scholars and intellectuals and pundits have forgotten is this: there are two kinds of wrong — evidentially wrong, and ethically wrong. The result is that the demagogue is not recognized as a totalitarian until it is too late….

But then again..Trump has enough material/current experience to have a deep thought or two about the current demonization of whistleblowers , freethinkers and such by the NWO..and the fact that journalisme is supposed to be a guarddog of democracy..not its organized destroyer..

Yeah, in the making a long time. But I don't think the plan is to keep Obama in office. I think he has served up exactly what he was asked to do…make elections completely irrelevant to their outcome. Its for the long game, going forward IMHO.

If Trump doesn't get rid of this self proclaimed DHS election fraud, we'll know that he was also involved as a chess piece on the bigger board …to manipulate perception that its OK to surrender every single cornerpiece in the construction of a Democratic Republic…for the sake of "safety."

Donald Trump Just Summed Up His Totalitarian Vision for America in 4 Words
The “you’d be in jail” line was antithetical to every historic and contemporary understanding of the American experiment.

Thomas Jefferson “observed in his inaugural address that
“’During the contest of opinion through which we have passed the animation of discussions and of exertions has sometimes worn an aspect which might impose on strangers unused to think freely and to speak and to write what they think; but this being now decided by the voice of the nation, announced according to the rules of the Constitution, all will, of course, arrange themselves under the will of the law, and unite in common efforts for the common good. All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression. Let us, then, fellow-citizens, unite with one heart and one mind. Let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty and even life itself are but dreary things.

    • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

And let us reflect that, having banished from our land that religious intolerance under which mankind so long bled and suffered, we have yet gained little if we countenance a political intolerance as despotic, as wicked, and capable of as bitter and bloody persecutions. During the throes and convulsions of the ancient world, during the agonizing spasms of infuriated man, seeking through blood and slaughter his long-lost liberty, it was not wonderful that the agitation of the billows should reach even this distant and peaceful shore; that this should be more felt and feared by some and less by others, and should divide opinions as to measures of safety. But every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle. We have called by different names brethren of the same principle. We are all Republicans, we are all Federalists. If there be any among us who would wish to dissolve this Union or to change its republican form, let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. I know, indeed, that some honest men fear that a republican government can not be strong, that this Government is not strong enough; but would the honest patriot, in the full tide of successful experiment, abandon a government which has so far kept us free and firm on the theoretic and visionary fear that this Government, the world’s best hope, may by possibility want energy to preserve itself?

      • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

I trust not. I believe this, on the contrary, the strongest Government on earth. I believe it the only one where every man, at the call of the law, would fly to the standard of the law, and would meet invasions of the public order as his own personal concern. Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the forms of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question. ‘

“History’s answer to that question has been steady across more than two centuries. Presidential contests have been intense, often bitter. But this has not been a country where candidates have spoken of jailing their vanquished opponents. If it should ever become that country, it would not be a ‘successful experiment.’ It would be a profoundly diminished and profoundly troubled land controlled by a man who “cannot be trusted with the government of himself” and cannot “be trusted with the government of others.”

Nobel-Winning Economists: 'Broad Consensus' Trump Policies Will Fail

“A pack of Nobel Prize-winning economists gave Donald Trump and his policy plans the thumbs-down, with one saying the president-elect’s programs could lead to a deep recession.
“Speaking on a panel during the first day of the annual American Economic Association meeting in Chicago, the Nobel laureates voiced a variety of concerns about the billionaire developer’s stance, from his haranguing of U.S. companies about their outsourcing plans to the risk that his tax and spending proposals could lead to run-away budget deficits.

“’There is a broad consensus that the kind of policies that our president-elect has proposed are among the polices that will not work,’ said Joseph Stiglitz, summing up the views of the panel that included his fellow Columbia University professor Edmund Phelps and Yale University’s Robert Shiller….

“’The Trump government is threatening to drive a silver spike into the heart of the innovation process,’ he said.

“Phelps also voiced concern about Trump’s plans for big tax cuts and spending increases. “Such a policy runs the risk it could lead to an explosion of public debt and ultimately cause a serious loss of confidence and a deep recession,” he said.

“That also has the University of Chicago’s Roger Myerson worried. While other presidents have run big budget deficits in the past, they depended on foreign purchases of U.S. debt to do so….”

Donald Trump inauguration: Ethics concerns swirl around Trump team

“Donald Trump will hold his first press conference in almost six months on Wednesday, to talk about plans to avoid conflicts of interest involving his sprawling business empire while he's president.

“Meanwhile the US Congress is reviewing the nominations of a series of his top political nominees who are facing their own ethical questions, and concerns continue to swirl around several other high-level advisers.

    "An ethical office thwarted

“Walter M Shaub, director of the Office of Government Ethics, has sent a letter to congressional leaders saying that his agency has been overwhelmed by the task of certifying Mr Trump's Cabinet nominees, some of whom have yet to provide investigators with preliminary paperwork.

"’This schedule has created undue pressure on OGE's staff and agency ethics officials to rush through these important reviews,’ Shaub wrote. ‘More significantly, it has left some of the nominees with potentially unknown or unresolved ethics issues shortly before their scheduled hearings.’

“He says he can't recall another time in his office's 40-year history that a hearing has been held before the review process has been completed.

“Democrats have pointed to the letter as grounds for delaying the series of hearings – six on Wednesday alone – for Mr Trump's nominees. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer went so far as to circulate a 2009 letter by then-Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stating that all Obama administration nominees must complete an ethics office review prior to Senate consideration.

“Mr McConnell has rebuffed postponement requests so far, however.

      “Nominees with unresolved issues

“The distress expressed by the ethics office official has exacerbated some of the concerns over a number of top-level Trump appointees who have sprawling financial interests that could lead to conflicts of interest as they pursue their government duties.

      • Dr. Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar Anne Lee Tomlinson Maziar

“Although Shaub did not single out anyone by name, among the individuals drawing particular attention are super-wealthy business chieftians Rex Tillerson (State Department), Steven Mnuchin (Treasury), Andrew Puzder (Labour) and Wilbur Ross (Commerce). According to the New York Times, the standard government disclosure forms don't have enough boxes for these billionaire tycoons to list all their financial interests.

“Details have begun to emerge on Tillerson's agreements with the ethics office, including a liquidation of $50m in personal stock from his employer, ExxonMobil, as well as his holdings in more than 150 other companies.

“Betsy DeVos, a billionaire Republican activist whom Mr Trump picked for education secretary, will appear before a Senate confirmation committee on Wednesday but has yet to detail any potential conflicts of interest with the ethics office.

“Congressman Tom Price, Mr Trump's choice for health and human services secretary, has also been criticised for trading $300,000 in healthcare stocks since 2012 while serving on congressional committees overseeing the healthcare industry. Trump transition officials say he will sell all such financial holdings following his confirmation as health secretary.

“Even Elaine Chao, wife of Senate Majority Leader McConnell and a Cabinet secretary in the George W Bush administration, has faced some conflict-of-interest allegations following her nomination to be transportation secretary. “An in-law with the president's ear

“…an official position in the Trump administration was thought by many to run counter to anti-nepotism laws dating back to the 1960s. …”

          “Accusations of plagiarism….
