I tweeted this before but in case of another major aftershock or Tsunami, it won’t be only reactor 4. I think all the reactors will be in crisis. Tepco says they have prepared multiple coolant means, but if the radiation level goes too high, we can not even get close. Also even if the reactor buildings remain safe, roads won’t be safe to approach the reactors.
Actually 311 caused a lot of cracks on the ground, there were a lot of places where you can not drive by car. Even pumper trucks or fire trucks can not drive maybe. Above all, now we don’t have enough human resource nor engineers to settle down reactor 4 in addition to other reactors.
If you drive from Iwaki, it would take 6 hours if the situation is as bad as 311. Also, there as a heliport on the ground in 311, but it will be removed soon though we are supposed to build a heliport somewhere in the plant area.

The starting place might be that we have had a large release of radiation (man-made particles, like bullets).
The release is ongoing and cannot be stopped given today's technology.
The 'bullets' are firing left-right-and-center all over the world with the main concentration in Japan but carried elsewhere through wind, rain, Jet Stream, pollen, insects, used cars, the soles of feet, people and food. The bullets are known to kill, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly depending on dose (like mustard or ammonia gas).
There are humans left alive that have the knowledge – if not to mitigate the releases (through boron or other substances) – at least to stop any possibility of similar releases in the future.
There are less intelligent beings who are determined to increase the releases for short-term monetary or other gain.
A complete understanding of these particles or bullets is not possible since most of the planetary beings do not possess the necessary intelligence to understand it.
In the same way that innocence of the law is no defense, innocence of the damage these particles cause is no defense against death.

Forgot to mention, these are 'bullets' with attitude.
They vibrate up and down, back and forth forever inside human or animal tissue causing cancers and other diseases, unlike a regular bullet which once it hits animal tissue simply stops and does no further damage other than lead poisoning or septicemia.
These ones stay inside in the body, inside a lung or other organ and radiate forever, damaging all the cells around it.
Worse than a landmine or cluster bomb, there is simply no way to stop it. Even burying the body cannot stop it – the particle are still there vibrating away.
The particles cannot be blamed on God, or the Devil – they are manmade.
Some of the monkey-like creatures who made them think they are good somehow. All the other monkey-like creatures are racking their brains to figure out where the 'goodness' is.
Noone has been able to discover the goodness.
A few million of the monkey-creatures will die in the short-term. Many more will die in the future because most of the monkey-creatures are not aware of the danger.

it is easy, now tepco tells them that the radiation dose limit is being extended to double the amount, no immediate danger. then the measurements will be faulty for some reason – no immediate danger. then the engineers die one by one of a heart attack, due to the stress of course .. oh and lack of smiling.
but seriously, if all fails the military will come in, it always does i guess.. then its pumping concrete everywhere until its entombed.

I have been abstaining from sardines since the disaster because they were coming from Canadian waters. But I just noticed the other day that cans of Chicken of the Sea sardines now say Product of Thailand. I'm fairly sure they were from Canada before, but not positive. I'm wondering if they have ceased harvesting from the Pacific.
Anyway that's two seas down, the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific). Five to go.

Mainichi news agency reported that France’s l’Institut de Radioprotection et de Surete Nucleaire (Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety, or IRSN) has issued a recent report stating that the amount of radioactive cesium-137 that entered the Pacific after 11 March was probably nearly 30 times the amount stated by Tokyo Electric Power Co. in May.

Do not forgett the fact that this current map is on a Higher level of current,they crisscross on other levels deeper and/or shallower waters.
The layers them selfs are just like the Air streams, different densetys and different speeds, dep on location and tempr.
The radiation is infact following the garbage, and the wust is that despite the belives in what makes Oxygen, the tiny algeas and microscopic life just under the suface of the sea, produces almoust 70% of Total Ox. prod. on our globe, and the Pasific is the Biggest sea are of them all.
This is not even mentioned in reports about Fuku, is it, is this also in all the fu… driwell about the Size and the Scope of it.
People better start to wake the fu.. up.
There will be no rabbit hole deep anouf,to escape this.

Hm, Wonder if i'll ever be able to have kids after the whole lot of those reactors blow up?… Probably not. We already had a 6.1 aftershock near Fukashima. When this 'incident' first occured i thought it would be an immediate issue however I was incorrect. After those reactors fall, and they will. It will be interesting to see if the media blackout in North America will be lifted. If japan can shut down all their nuclear reactors so could Canada and America but will we?
Will people even be alerted and told to take precautions? The sad part is.. Probably not. Why can we not learn from history and be done with this dangerous form of energy? Instead of being all doom and gloom we should be taking to the streets to prevent this from happening ever again with immediate affirmative action! Wtf Americas! Learn! .. Before its too late~!

During the Chernobyl disaster, the determining factor was the evacuation of residents from exposure to 350 mSv, according to the World Nuclear Association.
Notice the "Monitoring Stations" set up around town. Guess that's gonna be a 'way of life' in Japan forever. So damn sad….

This is what I've been talking about. Of course the roads are no good. The answer is the sea.
There are plenty of obsolete US Navy ships docked up river from San Francisco. Many of them have thick, solid steel hulls. Because that type of construction was needed in past wars. Probably this thickest, largest slabs of solid steel that have ever been fabricated went into those ships.
They are ideal storage vessels for radioactive materials. They can be re-fitted and docked offshore of Fukushima. Other ships can provide accommodations for workers, and bring in heavy equipment.
Look at this from the point of view of a Navy Admiral. It's a 100 year project (or more) with no chance of cancellation. It will remain a Navy job, with little chance of the Air Force or Army gaining influence. An ideal legacy for a Navy Admiral, a project that will last for centuries.
It's the military that really runs things in the U.S. Get the Navy behind the idea, and the Congress will fall into line.

When they talk about a heliport it reminds me that there is a large open and flat area just south of the plant on the plant property. Or at least there was 30 years ago. The story we were told at the time was that it was a World War 2 airfield for Kamikaze pilots.Ironic huh, now it is a Kamikaze nuclear plant.

never mind. asahi shimun, "high levels of radiation hindering preparation for decommisioning." and this is without the melted coriums in the picture. one year three months. next year possibly a crane for sfp#4. isnt there a 35t capacity crane crashed into the top of it? shouldnt that crane be removed first, then a sample rod reomoval? why ask? because why waste time doing the rod removal thing if the rods were "smashed" beyond removal by the crane.
