Minamisoma city council member Koichi Oyama: I think the way to save the children at Fukushima is to get the world involved.

If we don’t protect our children now, it will be too late when we are the second Chernobyl.

Not allowing the children to escape is murder.

Description

Buy tickets at this link: http://us6.campaign-archive2.com/?u=8c61983ef5&id=e0d5dcf7d7

The screening will benefit the Save Minami-Soma Project, providing clean water and food to Japanese citizens still living in radioactive waste. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated and generated by your participation. This is an opportunity to raise awareness of the clean-up effort, including worldwide radioactive contamination through open-air burning policies and 200,000+ tons of highly radioactive water dumped into the Pacific Ocean.

The news here from recent days make me so…I do not know how to explain this feeling, may be a bitter dissapointment, sadness, and silent anger mixed together. I want to ask those with power and money, those guilty for all this tragedy, all the shameless PR, how do they feel; can they feel?! Are they human? Can they sleep at night? Do they think their dirty money is worth even one child`s tear?!

    Iori Mochizuki:

    "The mother was devastated.
Her daughter was diagnosed with acute leukemia though they are evacuees.
I heard this from my friend a couple of days ago.
Because the mother is deeply hurt with her remorse, I cannot tell the details but actually it was me to have to feel deep regret.
I could not listen to all the story. I found myself wanting to skip the news. It was simply too painful.
No matter how important they are, you cannot hear thousands of terrible news every single day.
You want to simplify the facts and detach yourself from the reality to ease your mind knowing it solves nothing at all.

I think my readers can share this feeling too. I know it hurts to read Fukushima Diary.

In the latest report, even WHO stated the female thyroid cancer rate will rise by 70% as infants in the most contaminated area.

Is that all we could do to look at children having their throat cut ?
Do we all just sit and let it happen ?

We can’t take this anymore. I think this is the sign to start moving.

We can move. It’s time to change our pain to the energy.
Soon it will be 2 years.
730 days, 1051897 mins, 6.3113852e+7 secs. Since that moment, have we become less cowardly ?"

… yes it is painful to read Fukushima Diary … or enenews … or realize that the Sheeple sleep on, while TPTB sleep well at night, too …

all we can ever do is be mindful of the truth as we see it; and honor the sharing of heartfelt truths from others … i.e. this official's opinion that not evacuating the children of Fukushima is tantamount to murder …

… we 'newsers must be mindful of the burn out factor …. reach out to your 'newser buddies for affirmation, as we bear witness to the tragedy of global nuclear pollution; sooner or later the Sheeple will be with us, and our integrity and insight will be appreciated …

… find a way to have some fun with your children and friends, to recharge your batteries; the nuclear nightmare is deeply entrenched within our DNA, and it will be difficult and painful to root out, but root it out we must … Hold onto that truth, as you face those who don't understand yet who scorn you and mock you ….

Nuclear power is not the answer; it is the problem. Go wind, go solar and geothermal and GE(Hitachi) be damned …

    peace …

… last month 62.7 % of the Japanese voters gave the Office to a nuke-friendly govern-ment , a four year term … Enough said about the Japanese 'awarness' .

Mochizuki had to say about this, that it was not an endorsement of nuclear power, but an artifact of how voting 'system' is set up in Japan and no anti-nuclear party on ballot or something … do not really know myself, but message was not to interpret this vote as an affirmation of nuclear … anyone out there to elaborate???
