Mochizuki-san, The video of the #3 explosion broadcast in Japan showed the telltale flash. This video was shown in the States after nearly a day’s delay, with the flash edited out. Interestingly, the Japanese commentators did not remark about the flash.

yellow flash = source of detonation ?….

If there had been proper measurements in place they would have been able to document the atomic blast and the EMP wave. Too bad the tsunami knocked out every piece of measurement equipment for that time frame. The flash is clearly signs of plutonium and uranium uncontrolled fission. If you look at the footage from any atomic explosion there is a flash of igniting fuel. The main stream media will have their hands full when the people begin dropping like flies from illness.

    Fuku Diary says:

“According to Arnie Gundersen’s explanation, the blast had 3 phases.

    1: Hydrogen explosion
2: Nuclear fuel in the spent fuel pool (more than 550 assemblies) had nuclear explosion
    3: Second nuclear explosion
He says the dark brown mushroom cloud was made of powder of plutonium.”

I only remember AG describing two stages, a hydrogen explosion followed by a nuclear explosion in or over the spent fuel pool. Where does he say there were two nuclear explosions? I also don’t remember him specifically saying that “the dark brown mushroom cloud was made of powder of plutonium,” though he did note that the #3 mushroom cloud contained a lot more debris and gray smoke than the #1 hydrogen explosion. Did I miss one of his interviews? I don’t think he says exactly what FD says in his updates.

When this happened, what explosion you’re talking about, March?

March 14 explosion, the only explosion at reactor 3, though AG’s explanation is (a) the pressure vessel “hydrogen”(?) explosion immediately followed by (b) prompt criticality in the SFP. So it was a double-explosion. When the H2 pressure builds up to a point where the pressure vessel failed spectacularly enough to vapourise all the plutonium, it does not seem a very accurate scientific description to call it a hydrogen-air explosion. We now learn that the black stuff is pulverised plutonium/uranium/nuclides….great stuff!

Australian TV on 14 March was my source for this contrast-enhanced version, and the SFP flash is clearly visible heading out the south side of Unit 3, at 13.5 seconds from the start. The video processing (by me) was to filter out the severe atmospheric haze and low-contrast in the original video image. B&W because it eliminated the colour noise in the image.

…and it seems highly unlikely to me that this flas could have been seen 30km away.

However, every GPS satellite has gamma and neutron detectors as part of the CTBT monitoring, so whoever controls the primary data from these sensors probably knew immediately that a prompt criticality had occurred in SFP3. US Military?

The CTBTO’s isotope data that has been published publicly indicate that it was a nuclear explosion, according to its own criteria. A large amount of molybdenum-99 was released, which would occur in a nuclear test. The CTBTO would have notified all its 182 member governments (including Japan and the US) that a nuclear explosion had taken place.

so is there a way of obtaining video with the flash still? and does this mean they’re tampering with “live feed” can we get somr answers??

Maybe the yellow flash was all that yellow powder flying out of the reactor.

funny enough I have only seen it with the yellow flash, maybe because I do not watch television enough to have seen any coverage if there has been any.

That is a mighty big flash

I’m sure most of you have seen the excerpt from Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams, the segment “Mt. Fuji In Red” It explains what types of Radioactive Elements are being released by the color of the radioactive clouds. I went back to YouTube to reference this video, however ALL clips from that segment in the “Dreams” movie have been removed and ALL clips showing the Nuclear Disaster have been removed from the Internet! Interesting. Coincidence? or Government intervention?
The following is an excerpt from the script in the movie:

    The clouds… …the red one. It’s Plutonium 239. 10,000,000th of a gram causes cancer.

The yellow one is strontium 90. It gets inside you… …and causes leukemia.

The purple one is Cesium 137. It affects reproduction. It causes mutations.

    It makes monstrosities.

Man’s stupidity is unbelievable. Radioactivity was invisible. And because of its danger, they colored it. But that only lets you know which kind kills you.

this was made in 1990? It is amazing how they mention SIX reactors puffing out one after the other. It is also sub-titled so us engrish speeking peeplz can follow as well.

The segments in “Dreams” were made from actual dreams Kurosawa had. He dreamed of a nuclear power plant with six reactors blowing up decades ago. Kurosawa was a genius, one of the greatest directors of all time.

Was kinda confused when I saw another “Cindy” use my username months later. I believe when ENENEWS was in it’s infancy you didn’t have to register or log in to leave comments. No worries… I like your posts too! To minimize confusion, I put my picture up, cause without it, no one could differentiate between my posts and yours. Have a Blessed Day!

Strong stuff but very interesting. So some people knew it for decades even in japan. As always it is just the masses that don`t want to know.

1990? I remember sitting in school 1993 and learning about japan, its economy and their admirable discipline and Kaizen (philosophy or practices that focus upon continuous improvement, see wikipedia for details) without questioning. Now in retrospective things look quite different…

‘New Stuxnet’ worm targets companies in Europe
      Nick Hopkins
      guardian.co.uk, Wednesday 19 October 2011 08.31 EDT

Experts suspect Duqu worm is from same source that targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities – widely said to have been US and Israel

A highly sophisticated computer worm which has many of the same characteristics of the virus used to attack Iran’s nuclear programme has been discovered targeting companies in Europe.

Although the virus appears to have been spying on the systems it infiltrates – rather than attempting to vandalise them – experts say its code is so similar to the Stuxnet worm that attacked Iran, that it may have been engineered by the same people.

The US and Israel were widely thought to be behind Stuxnet, which sent many of the centrifigues at Tehran’s nuclear facilities spinning out of control. It took this kind of cyberwarfare to a new level.

The new virus was discovered by Symantec, a leading cybersecurity firm, and has been called Duqu.

Symantec would not disclose which firms had been targeted, but the company said one of its customers raised the alarm on Friday. An internal system at the firm “raised a number of red flags” and an investigation was launched…..

Nuclear power plant Gundremmingen: Emission limits are well below even during the revision to Block C
      11/12/2011

“For press release dated 11/11/2011 of the association IPPNW eV (“Radioactive emissions to peak early revision of the nuclear power station Gundremmingen”) takes the nuclear power plant Gundremmingen comment as follows:

The revision to the refueling part of the normal operation of a nuclear power plant. Despite the highest quality standards in the manufacture of fuel elements can be used with the large number of fuel rods in the reactor (approximately 71,000 in 784 fuel rods) individual defects never be completely eliminated. This was incorporated in the design of the power plant. The system is designed so that there is also no risk of defects in fuel elements for the staff or the environment.

Of course, were also at the beginning of this year’s revision to Block C met all requirements for the discharge of radioactive materials not only below but clearly – and this although have been identified in the later investigation of the 784 fuel assemblies of four fuel defects. During the first week of revision block C (19 to 25 September 2011), the reactor pressure vessel was opened. It was a controlled activity derivative (inert gas through the chimney) is far below the authorized limits.

depending on the operating condition of the plant have been raised in the operating license is quite fluctuating derivative values. Reference for the evaluation of these derivatives is not a fictitious selected base value, but the applicable limit. Also on the day of maximum discharge of rare gases (22 September 2011) was prescribed, and here only the relevant daily limit (sum of all discharges within 24 hours including the peak value) exceeded by about 85 percent.”

    False Flags or Real Terrorism???

Stuxnet Clone ‘Duqu’ Possibly Preparing Power Plant Attacks
    By Matt Liebowitz
    Published October 18, 2011

Security researchers have detected a new Trojan, scarily similar to the infamous Stuxnet worm, which could disrupt computers controlling power plants, oil refineries and other critical infrastructure networks.

The Trojan, dubbed “Duqu” by the security firm Symantec, appears, based on its code, to have been written by the same authors as the Stuxnet worm, which last July was used to cripple an Iranian nuclear-fuel processing plant.

“Stuxnet source code is not out there,” wrote F-Secure cybersecurity expert Mikko Hyppönen on his firm’s blog. “Only the original authors have it. So, this new backdoor was created by the same party that created Stuxnet.”

The original Stuxnet was specifically designed to compromise an industrial control system by manipulating the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software on which these facilities rely on for automation. Duqu may have its sights set on the same target, but it approaches from a different angle….
