I went back to try and help with the reconstruction.
Unfortunately, now I should probably paint myself yellow. I have a heavy dose of radioactive contamination myself.
I will be radioactive at least for the next 150 years. My children won’t be.
Unfortunately we can’t say that about [long pause], we can’t say that about my daughter’s and my son’s fellow students in their school.
We get letters quite regularly from them saying, “When are you coming back, it’s safe.”
Their parents are in denial. Who wouldn’t be? To live every day breathing that poison you’d have to be in denial. And my friends are, my family is over there.

Dr. Shunichi Yamashita (Mengele-san) with his heartfelt response to the evil Japanese government *increasing* allowable radiation dose for everyone after Fukushima:
“By the time I die, I won’t be able to take responsibility for all of your lives. However, we have an obligation to obey the standard set by the government. I will be dead before the consequence are known.”

My Japanese family gradually understood, but it took a lot of facts that we sent to them after leaving the country.
They were not informed but they are rational and we gave them enough data.
with 40% of the kids having cyst, how can people even imagine that the region is safe, specially iitate mura. This is behond my comprehension. Are they aware that 40% of the kids have cyst in their thyroid and that this is far worst than the number of kids 1 year after the Chernobyl explosion? Or they have no access to information and are not aware of this?
Just give them the chernobyl data from:

we are approaching two years of poisoning. by the time anyone realises the damage it will be too late and they'll be mostly dying.
we are not going to see explosive rage, it's all way to late. the culprits will get away with the crime. Two Years .. sheesh. nothing even close to justice being served.

In 1958, Disney released a documentary called White Wilderness, which showed the wildlife of the Arctic on the cinema screen. David Attenborough it ain't. The film is now notorious for containing faked footage of something that simply doesn't happen: lemmings committing suicide en masse.
Realising that the Arctic rodents did not collectively top themselves, the film-makers resorted to trickery. After producing footage of the lemmings migrating by placing them on a snow-covered turntable, they shipped some of them to a cliff overlooking a river and herded them over the edge.
The resulting footage (available on YouTube and still shocking today) shows hordes of lemmings plummeting off a cliff, with the culpable humans studiously out of frame. It helped cement the myth of lemming mass suicide in popular culture.

The situation of the truth is horrendously illustrated by the tragedy inflicted on the people around Jaduguda Uranium mines. So far this was explained by invoking the false ICRP Risk Recommendations which serves the nuclear industry, by maintaining that the radiation emitted by the mining wastes was too small to cause the tragic effects on the families there. Thus nuclear wastes from the Hyderabad fuel fabrication facilities were also dumped at Jaduguga tailings dump on the basis of this false claim. risk due to internal contamination by uranium is many orders of magnitude more than what has been claimed.This is due to the enormous amplification effect of background gamma radiation by uranium absorbing these and resulting in continuous emission of secondary photoelectrons by the high atomic number(92) uranium heavy metal. Now the question is: Who is going to pay reparations to the affected millions in India who have been so converted into nuclear wastes by nuclear projects/green revolution application of phosphatic fertilisers containing 108 ppm uranium? And similarly for the people who will be affected at pristine Kudankulam?
