Hebei Shimpo report from Sept 7, 2012 translated by Fukushima Diary:

[A Fukushima Medical University professor said] outbreak of Fukushima related symptoms will take 4~5 years to occur. It’s important to collect data about health condition before outbreak. […] We shouldn’t force the opinion to people that low dose exposure is safe, but also we shouldn’t inspire fear excessively. Mental, and physical supports are required from variety of fields.

“It is important to collect data on the health seen as such 4-5 years diseases related to nuclear accident that is before the onset of the disease. Before that,” said Akira sarus of the Medical University Fukushima Sep 07, 2012 pointed out. I said, “I should not impose the idea of low-dose exposure is safe, there is a need for multi-faceted support to the residents dont even fueling risk unnecessarily. Both in mind and body” and.

As for crystal Professor prefectural medical large Ooturu Fukushima “the disease which it is related to nuclear accident emerges until, 4 and 5 years are seen that it catches. It is important” to gather the data regarding healthily before that that it points out. “Low dose being bombed thought does not have to push that it is safe, and, in vain it is not good fanning danger. Multilateral support to the prefectural people is required with mind and body both sides and the te is” that you expressed.

Yeah…don't fan the fear…because look (from the same online Japanese website)…we have some nice radioactive seaweed getting ready for consumers to munch on from Fukushima Prefecture:

"In Arahama Watari town was affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, seeding of seaweed work has reached a peak. While basking in the morning sun, we farmers are busy preparing the aim of harvest for the first time in two years.

Arahama be close, seawater and freshwater mix at the mouth of the Abukuma is of good quality glue and grow, before the earthquake there was a turnover of more than 200 million yen per year. However, processing plants and aquaculture raft about 800 units that were destroyed in the earthquake. Processing facilities to resume production joint subsidized with federal, state and town, also completed at the end of this month"

SP: Business as usual…selling contaminated food. The governments are determined that the continuing Fukushima radiation will not stand in the way of profits. Coming soon to a store near hapless victims…cesium and strontium contaminated seaweed.

The Fuku rad sickness isn't going to start in 4-5 years. It's already started, and taking out 120,000 babies a year in the US alone:

"According to Bobby1's numbers (http://optimalprediction.com/wp/excess-mortality-for-selected-us-cities-in-2012/) and CDC birth/death numbers, here's a rough estimate of Fukushima related mortality increases in the US:

As of 2010, the US population was 308.745 million. The normal death average is just under 1%, with 2.437 million deaths. Bobby1's numbers put the Fukushima caused death increases at 7.75% additional per year, or just under an additional 200,000 Fuku-related deaths per year.

As of 2010, births were at 4.4 million. With a 52% rate of gene mutation due to Fuku fallout (based on 'original' butterfly mutations, and we're all 'original', that's 2,288,000 babies born with gene mutations. The death rate will increase due to bioaccumulation, and the mutated birth numbers will steadily increase simultaneously.

Within ten years, those of us left will all be sick, either from fallout or gene mutation. Who is going to take care of almost 23 million genetically mutated children? Who will be left to take care of any of us?"

    Who is this POS?

And it isn't 'low dose' radiation we have:

“A recent study was prepared for Greenpeace Germany by international nuclear safety expert Dr. Helmut Hirsch. Dr. Hirsch’s assessment, based on data published by the French government’s radiation protection agency (IRSN) and the Austrian government’s Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) found that the total amount of unstable radionuclides Iodine-131 and Caesium-137 released between March 11 and March 23 has been so high that the Fukushima crisis already equates to three INES 7 incidents.

Release of radiation from the stricken reactors has reached 10,000 teraBequerels (10,000 trillion Bequerels) per hour, measured for radioactive Iodine-131.”

“The uranium bomb which the United States dropped on Hiroshima at the end of World War II released 89 tera becquerels. It killed 140,000 people – many instantly, others within weeks of the blast as they succumbed to severe radiation burns.”

So, a rough estimate is that Fukushima is spewing the equivalent of 112 Hiroshima-type nuclear bombs worth of radiation every hour, of every day.

That’s 981,120 atomic bombs a year going off worth of radiation into our biosphere.

For additional technical details on the above:

"Overall, 9 tonnes of fuel was subjected to atomic fission or activation transformation occasioning a prodigious explosion of radioactivity and radiotoxicity which over time, is several times the amount needed to kill by internal contamination the whole human race."

“Fukushima Equals 3,000 Billion Lethal Doses"

“Dr Paolo Scampa, a widely know EU Physicist, single handedly popularized the easily understood Lethal Doses concept. “Lethal Doses” is a world wide, well understood idea that strips Physics bare and offers a brilliant, understandable explanation for all the physics gobbledygook Intelligence agencies and their respective governments use to disguise the brutal truths of the Fukushima Daiichi Disaster."

"Three thousand billion (3,000,000,000,000) Lethal Doses of Radiation means there are 429 Lethal Doses chasing each and every one of us on the planet, to put it in a nutshell. This is up from about 70 Billion Lethal Doses March 23, 2011. It is getting worse everyday without any intervention by the US and the other nuclear powers….”

"Note that the lethality of radioactive reactor cores goes up the first 250,000 years they are out of the reactor – not down."

It is hard to identify the FMU spokesperson from the information given so far. It may be "Akira Ohtsuru", who apparently spoke at an August 12th "radiation psychology" symposium cosponsored by Fukushima Medical University and a New York outfit called International Medical Crisis Response Alliance.

Accumulation is as much of a health concern as additional releases. The smoke is still billowing. The releases are going to show us the rate of decay in containment. The clock depends on how often the releases of Xenon continue. When the gas signature changes the state of the reactor cores has changed and the rate of release will determine the speed of the reaction under the containment. The rate of uptake into the human body for those living within 500km of the plant depends on how often and in what direction the small plumes flow in the wind. So far the radiation has spun around the globe in a traceable pattern setting off SPEEDI alerts in every country that can afford to own a SPEEDI system. The level has been raised to 8. Yet it's election time…so nobody knows this yet.

SP: Here's an informational blurb for California endrofrinologists that says 30% of women have thyroid nodules. For patients with diagnosed nodules, 10% are cancerous.

"What is the prevalence of thyroid nodules and cancer?

These days, with modern imaging studies such as ultrasound (US), computerized tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), more and more thyroid nodules are being found incidentally. This means the nodules are found during studies that are being done for reasons other than examination of the thyroid gland. It is estimated that 4-8% of adult women and 1-2% of adult men have thyroid nodules that can be felt on physical examination, but closer to 30% of women have nodules detectable by ultrasound. In fact, the diagnosis of a thyroid nodule is the most common endocrine problem in the United States.

Although the majority of thyroid nodules are benign (not cancerous), about 10% of nodules do contain cancer . Therefore, the primary purpose for evaluating a thyroid nodule is to determine whether cancer is present"

It depends on the cause. Where does massive amounts of radiation fit in this study, versus genetics or maybe smoking?

And this study isn't relevant to the massive amount of nodules found in the children in Japan, that scares even the MDs here in the US. There's been no release of information regarding how many of these nodules contain cancer.

What we do know is that these children are no longer eligible for medical care, and no more follow-ups for two years, long after any cancer will metastasize.

straight from the sayings of prof yamashita of fukushima medical university.

"We shouldn’t force the opinion to people that low dose exposure is safe, but also we shouldn’t inspire fear excessively"

And finally a couple of contradictory reports from Japans Thyroid Association Prof Yamashita probably the next president of the IAEA for services rendered to nuclear..

No Evidence of Radiation Risk for Thyroid Gland among Schoolchildren around Semipalatinsk Nuclear Testing Site.

    Endocrine Journal. Jan 2003, Vol. 50, No. 1: 85-89

2010 (pre fukushima/ post funding needs)

“We need much more thorough epidemiological studies before we can make conclusions about cause and effect”, says Shunichi Yamashita, chair of the Atomic Bomb Disease Institute at Nagasaki University, Japan, who has been visiting Semipalatinsk for 15 years.

Don't forget his Chernobyl studies, arclight.

The very right-wing Nippon Foundation (forced sterilization of 300K Peruvian women program, etc.) funded a $50M program to study thyroid cancer after the Chernobyl disaster. Some British funding too, IRRC. Over 200K children were examined, many by Prof. Mengele… er, Yamashita in the most heavily contaminated Gomel area. The study was large enough that there was little international interest to fund other thyroid studies at the time. If you want your bogus study to be accepted as fact, make it *big* so nobody else's data disagrees with yours.

Results: No proof I-131 exposure level related to incidence of thyroid cancer. He attributed the higher (but insignificant) incidence of thyroid cancer mostly to low iodine levels in the local diet. He figured Japanese children wouldn't be affected by similar exposure because they had adequate iodine levels.

Notice that he's the go-to man in Japan and the IAEA for whitewashing thyroid issues. Environmental Ministry steers criminally-belated studies his way at Fuku Medical University. He demands no outside physicians interpret the results, recommend second opinions or re-examine before *his* two-year mandate. FMU will decide and take any follow-up action.

All that on top of his earlier decree that Japanese children shouldn't be given supplemental iodine. It's unnecessary – there's no proven risk and it SCARES people. [sigh…]

      hi paveway111

i totally agree, yamashita err i meant mengele, with his british and american counterparts have totally manipulated the data and misused the clinical ICRP dose model without taking ANY exterior conditions into account. he has also played down the risk of the cesiums in later bio-accumulation..

and as an aside i believe TBliar to be the illegitimate son of yamashita. though i have absolutely no evidence for this it does make some sense..

hmmm maybe a headline there? think BIG you say!
