The problem is ongoing for the whole world. Dangerous radiation from one broken reactor lasts thousands of years. And there's absolutely no reason to use it. We have safe alternatives.

Only big brother needs the by products from reactor, that is because all large governments are paranoid, much like gun control in USA, you have made everyone paranoid and if you have a gun I will buy a bigger one.

Why does the USA have a army, anybody that invaded them would have to face a 100 million gun touting red necks coming your way.

Weeman, if you are going to vociferate about an ARMY, you must use "AN" Army. Because, we are all just an army of antz any ways mate.
Didn't you listen to that ol' brit christmas song about how rudolf the red neck reindeer went down in "an" our Historonic?

Internally Displaced Persons: Guide to Legal Information Resources on the Web
and a discussion needs to be had about the lack of legal rights of the internally displaced refugee.. the international legal framework does not cover them… they are the forgotten…….

    By Elisa Mason
    August 2011*

“According to the United Nations, internally displaced persons (IDPs) are “persons or groups of persons who have been forced or obliged to flee or to leave their homes or places of habitual residence, in particular as a result of or in order to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violations of human rights or natural or human-made disasters, and who have not crossed an internationally recognized State border” (Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement, 1998, Introduction, para. 2).

Because the flight described in the definition is internal, national authorities are responsible for providing protection to people displaced in their own countries. However, over time the humanitarian community has come to recognize that IDPs “are often in need of special protection, not least because the government responsible for protecting them is sometimes unwilling or unable to do so, or may itself be the cause of displacement (Brun 2005, 3).”

    This is clearly not normal.
One in five junior high school students (2077 students tested) in Ohtawara-city, Tochigi have high blood pressure. Some students aren't obese.
Compared to the figure in 2006, the percentage increased to 20.6% from 9.3%. City Children's Happiness department think it could be due to increased intake of salt or stress.(<–Yeah right! BS. Not Happy!)

    Dear GlowInTheDark,
Thank you for writing. It seems you're onto something very important here! I'm sorry that I was unable to access your link. I wonder if these young people are receiving treatment, counselling and follow-up for their high blood pressure (especially since they're so young)?
    Thank you.

      hi andagi,
The link is ok to me though..
I doubt that these students are receiving counselling. As for HBP, I hope so but no good bringing BP down with meds because the cause is the internal exposure! The best thing to do is for them to leave the area. But they can't suggest students & family to move out as human experiment is ongoing….must get their data above public health. /sarc

Andagi-Sama, you hang in their BABE! I can notice that you are not a native speaker of English.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and contribution. So sad, about TOKYO ROSE. They say she got abducted by the Jap Imperial(Emporer) back in the 1940s.
Our President Ger FORD pardoned her in 1976. Only, because she was just a teenger, so pretty, so smart…and Christian US forgives ALL…eventually.
