Title: KUNA : M 5.1 quake jolts northeastern Japan, Fukushima nuke plant intact
Source: Kuwait News Agency
Date: Jan 23, 2012
[...] The operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant said there were no signs of abnormalities at the facilities from the quake.
The quake registered lower 5 on the Japanese seismic scale of 7 in a village of Fukushima Prefecture [...]
The agency defines an intensity of lower 5 as strong enough to make hanging objects swing violently and most unstable ornaments fall.
The focus of the temblor was off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture at a depth of about 50 km. [...]

Don’t they always say that at first?
Admiral Nelson said it best “I really do not see the signal”.

As for this most recent quake – maybe, maybe not.
But this is a “super-critical component” of the whole pro-nuke narrative in Japan – that the plants can withstand quakes.
Wasn’t it one of the first things said in the recent “Frontline” spin-umentary?

leaning a little bit more.

Think about it, any shaking or Earth movement will cause the 3 “missing corium(s) to restart what I call “The Fuky Effect” and I expect to see increased signs of radiation in Northern Japan as well as additional temperature spikes “in temperature gauges that are not reading properly” at Fukushima!
This EQ will not help the rumbling Volcano in Southern Japan either…
Time will tell!

Exactly.

Is spent fuel pool #4 considered an unstable ornament?
Report Comment
Nope, a hanging object.

Different scales/different perceptions:
Let’s remember that the Japanese earthquake scale downplays the intensity of a quake. What would be a “5″ on the Japanese scale would be much higher on the Richter scale.
Report Comment
This quake would be a 6.7
Report Comment
Sorry, that would be a 5.3 not 6.7

Well noted!
Besides the EQ scale the many different measurements of radiation are also designed to confuse the public and further insulate the nuclear industry from being held accountable!

Funny how they use the Japanese measurement system, stating this latest quake was a ’5′ instead of a 6.7 on the Richter scale. They could use my scale, it only goes up to 3. 3 means everything east of Moscow is gone. 2 means Japan has fallen into the Marianas Trench. 1 means 2 and 3 didn’t happen. This event would now be a 1. See how simple that can be!

Government promoted Nuclear Baloney (NB) is unhealthy for public consumption!

Readers should be advised that pressure is currently building under the japanese fault lines. Much like it had in January 2011. This can be proven by the recent earthquake (today In hawaii). Which typically coincides with plate activity in Japan as well.
