The Tribune, Jan 5, 2017 and updated Jan 9, 2017 (emphasis added): UCUT study finds trace amounts of radiation in migratory salmon Columbia River —  In early December, a number of news agencies reported seaborne radiation from Japan’s Fukushima Nuclear plant was detected in the Pacific Ocean along on the West Coast. The plant… is feared to still be contaminating the ocean. The impact of the radiation in the Columbia River—and on migratory salmon that spend their developmental years in the Pacific—is still relatively unknown, but recent studies point to causes for concern. Last year, the Okanagan Nation Alliance found Cesium-134, the so-called fingerprint of Fukushima, in sockeye that had migrated up the Okanogan River to British Columbia. Now, a study by Upper Columbia United Tribes has found trace amounts of radiation in Columbia River sockeye as well as Chinook salmon, UCUT biologist Marc Gauthier said Tuesday to the Colville Business Council’s Natural Resource Committee… In the Columbia River salmon, UCUT found… trace amounts of strontium-90, which is another Fukushima radionuclide, according to Gauthier. “There’s some unknowns, some questions that this information raises,” said Gauthier.

Castanet (BC, Canada), Dec 23, 2016: A sockeye salmon containing trace amounts of a radioactive isotope from the 2011 Fukushima nuclear plant disaster in Japan was found in Okanagan Lake. The discovery was made in the summer of 2015 by the Integrated Fukushima Ocean Radionuclide Monitoring network [InFORM]… The organization has found eight fish with detectable levels of “artificial isotopes from human activities”… In one of those eight fish, the one found in Okanagan Lake, researchers were able to detect the element Cesium-134… UPDATE: While [InFORM] reported the Cesium-134 containing sockeye was found in Okanagan Lake, the government data the report references shows that the sockeye samples were actually taken from the Okanagan River

Statesman Journal, Dec 7, 2016: Fukushima radiation has reached U.S. shores — For the first time, seaborne radiation from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster has been detected on the West Coast… in seawater samples taken from Tillamook Bay and Gold Beach in Oregon, researchers from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution are reporting. Because of its short half-life, cesium-134 can only have come from Fukushima. Also for the first time, cesium-134 has been detected in a Canadian salmon, the Fukushima InFORM project, led by University of Victoria chemical oceanographer Jay Cullen, is reporting… The Oregon samples, marking the first time cesium-134 has been detected on U.S. shores, were taken in January and February of 2016… [InFORM] reported that a single sockeye salmon, sampled from Okanagan Lake in the summer of 2015, had tested positive for cesium-134… [There] is no significant risk to consumers, Cullen said… A recent InFORM analysis of [Woods Hole chemical oceanographer Ken] Buesseler’s data concluded that concentrations of cesium-137 have increased considerably in the central northeast Pacific, although they still are at levels that pose no concern. “It appears that the plume has spread throughout this vast area from Alaska to California,” the scientists wrote… Radiation levels have not yet peaked. “As the contamination plume progresses towards our coast we expect levels closer to shore to increase over the coming year,” Cullen said…

KBET, Dec 9, 2016: RADIOACTIVE ‘FUKUSHIMA FISH’ WEST COAST USA… RADIOACTIVE fish found off the United States has raised fears the country’s food chain is polluted – and the Fukushima nuclear disaster is being blamed. Highly toxic Cesium-134 – the “fingerprint” of Fukushima – was found in Tillamook Bay and Gold Beach, Oregon. The terrifying discovery was reported by researchers at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution… [R]adiation levels have not yet peaked as a toxic plume makes its way towards the United States.

CBS News (transcript excerpt), Dec 9, 2017: Officials are continuing to monitor the situation, saying the bulk of radiation from the Fukushima plant has not yet made its way across the Pacific.

It’s a rumor, unproven. But the proof of the fallout exists in Beta Burns and other effects suffered by people over 100 miles distant from Emu. And, while some revisionists and hacks find that incredible, such events were photographically documented by an AEC appointed radiation monitor in Nevada in the very same year. Ground level and near ground level nuclear fallout clouds engulfing Dry Springs and Warm Springs, Nevada. Joe had to use a camera mounted in a lead lined box, with a little hole in it for the lens. Otherwise, he knew from experience, the film would fog from the radiation. This, on a farm, about 100 miles from Mercury Test Site, Nevada.

At Mintabie, Lallie had her camera, but was in such shock and horror at the multi hued cloud snaking as a Black Mist through trees toward them that she did not think to take a photo before she and her family were engulfed. The photo, had Lallie taken it, would not have come out. The film would have been fogged by radiation.

Her Beta Burns appeared shortly after. She sought diagnosis and was refused at the time. The doctor remained silent on the matter.

In the 1980s as the characteristic long term effect of cyclic reopening of wounds recurred, she received psorasis treatment. The treatment does not define the disease. It is Beta Burn.

Syphilis rises 77% in Japan, in ONE year.

    http://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20170108/p2g/00m/0dm/002000c

According to data based on reports filed by hospitals across Japan, the number of syphilis patients totaled 4,259 as of early December, up 77 percent from 2,412 in the corresponding period a year earlier, and more than seven-fold from a decade ago.

The infection is believed to have spread mainly through heterosexual intercourse. But the number of mother-to-child transmissions, which has been very rare in Japan, is also on the rise.

…While 831 cases were reported in 2008, the number declined to 621 in 2010. By the end of October this year, the count was up to 2,037—up from 1,670 for all of 2014.

…Another contributing factor, Dr Fujita believes, is the insufficiency of vitamin B, which may be responsible for weakening of the surface membrane of the genitals and lowered resistance to infection.

…According to a report released on November 17 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, syphilis rates rose for both genders in every region of the U.S. in 2014. The rate of reported primary and secondary syphilis (the earliest symptomatic stages of the disease) increased by 15.1 percent from 2013 to 2014, to 6.3 cases per 100,000 people. The rate of reported congenital syphilis (passed by an infected mother to her child during pregnancy) increased by 27.5 percent, to 11.6 cases per 100,000 live births.

…In New Orleans, the number of syphilis cases tripled between 2012 and 2014. Central New York, which two years ago reported 27 syphilis cases, most recently reported 110, and some health clinics are now offering free syphilis testing. Health officials in Oregon, where syphilis rates have increased by more than 1,000 percent from 2007 to 2014,…

…Researchers are still trying to work out why these increases are happening now, but the CDC’s report offers a few clues. For one, syphilis isn’t the only sexually transmitted disease becoming more common. Syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea—the three STDs that comprised the focus of the report—rose simultaneously for the first time on record, which suggests an underlying cause that isn’t syphilis-specific.

It stands to reason the homeostatic human body will not survive the vicious onslaught of toxins. The breakdown is beginning in earnest as background radiation mixes with natural, radiation accumulates in the food chain, man-made pollutants reach saturation..ect.

Have you looked at emerging and re-emerging disease globally?

Homeostasis: The tendency of the body to seek and maintain a condition of balance or equilibrium within its internal environment, even when faced with external changes adjusting to conditions that are optimal for survival. If homeostasis is successful, life continues; if unsuccessful, disaster or death ensues.

I can only hope the bullies got a dose through osmosis. lol.

What you say is true. The mindfck of illness can outweigh the illness itself.

I met a stroke victim once who was being sent to nursing facility and all she thought of was her beloved dog.

Now take that emotional harm up a notch to let's say,..a major nuclear event. The bullying is fear. Fear of radiation. The unknown they in Japan witnessed before in 1940's comes screaming back in their subconscious making them bigger assholes than they already are. They don't think, they react. Modern bullying meets primeval..

It's difficult to assess the full extent of neurological damage from Chernobyl's radiation, but liquidators from Russia, reported neurological diseases as the second most common post-Chernobyl illness. Neurological and psychiatric disorders among adults in radiation-contaminated territories of Belarus were also considerably more common than those from non-affected areas (31.2% compared to 18.0%).

…TEPCO had attempted to lower radiation levels by clearing the radioactive debris remaining at the site.

But the clearing work took longer than expected due to contamination being more widespread than previously thought, forcing TEPCO and the government to again put off the retrieval.

…TEPCO showed in a handout that got little attention that the concrete reactor well cover for unit 1 is dislodged.

The concrete cover sits on top of the reactor containment cap to provide both radiation shielding and some level of blast shielding. TEPCO has admitted in the past that there is at least some leakage out the top of unit 1 but had not explicitly admitted the reactor well cover was dislodged. These covers are a series of concrete sections that layer down into the reactor well. The concrete cover for unit 3 was found to be in place but the center section was caved in. No additional details were available and they may need to remove all the debris to get a good idea exactly how damaged the concrete cover for unit 1 is. This does indicate that damage to the upper structures could be worse than initially thought.

"This does indicate that damage to the upper structures could be worse than initially thought. …"

For the fourth layer of concrete to be raised up like that, the blast must have gone through the cap. Must be melted fuel rods splattered all over the place and a big crack in the cap. Melted fuel on the cap bolts. Taking off that concrete cap probably not a good idea.

The groups of people protesting the plan to relax the food ban on Japanese food products expressed concern that the plan was part of trade negotiations. With the ban still in place there have been numerous high profile incidents of banned foods making it into the food supply in Taiwan. These included foods found in grocery stores and a relabeling scheme by importers to hide the origin of food products.
