You forgot the drone crashing into #2. It “probably” didn’t pierce the roof.

nomade, no it didn’t crash the roof. It was one of these mini-drones on 3 legs which collet air samples. I read it this morning oan Asahi news. The thingie weighs 8 kg. (looks like a modern R2D2 version)
Report Comment
…and even when it did…what’s the difference? Holes and cracks all over the place. I mean, unit 2 is the only one left which HAS a roof to crash into!

well … in defense of nomade, knowing how they are in incompetent, I doubt it was a smooth landing ! LOL

Here’s an article about the T hawk. It weighs under 20 pounds. But another, larger helicopter went down at Ft. Calhoun. Did high radiation cause the electronics to malfunction in both machines?

280,000 children issued with dosimeters in Fukushima Prefecture

Doctors say that residents in Fukushima Prefecture 40 km away from the plant were exposed to over 3 times annual radiation dose in the first two months.

EX-SKF gives details as to what those “dosimeters” really are. Not a safety device but a data gathering device. The kids are being experimented on, as opposed to protected.
Main article…

And then a follow up article showing the monitors to be useless, and an expansion of the experiment on children…

Those Clever Japanese!

Yes, fiendishly clever. Covering an experiment on children by calling it “protection”!

I earlier posted about the need for Triage mentality.
It is horrible to contemplate,
but soon to be very much in-your-face, in-my-face.
Most of those kids are already consigned to the
“unlikely to survive” category.
The place soon to be uninhabitable.

My thoughts too…instead of protecting the children they’re using them as subjects in a vast epidemiological experiment.
The pro nuclear lobby (WHO etc) claim that the health impact of Chernobyl was “minimal”. They made this claim by only taking into account studies conducted shortly after the accident occurred and ignored long term effects.
I read somewhere that thyroid cancer rates in the UK have doubled since Chernobyl…mostly amongst young adults who were exposed to the fallout when children.
I wonder how long this experiment will go on before hasty conclusions are drawn by the WHO.

Special report – Japan’s “throwaway” nuclear workers
Kevin Krolicki and Chisa Fujioka, ReutersJune 24, 2011
FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN (Reuters) – A decade and a half before it blew apart in a hydrogen blast that punctuated the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl, the No. 3 reactor at the Fukushima nuclear power plant was the scene of an earlier safety crisis.
Then, as now, a small army of transient workers was put to work to try to stem the damage at the oldest nuclear reactor run by Japan’s largest utility.
At the time, workers were racing to finish an unprecedented repair to address a dangerous defect: cracks in the drum-like steel assembly known as the “shroud” surrounding the radioactive core of the reactor.
But in 1997, the effort to save the 21-year-old reactor from being scrapped at a large loss to its operator, Tokyo Electric, also included a quiet effort to skirt Japan’s safety rules: foreign workers were brought in for the most dangerous jobs, a manager of the project said.
“It’s not well known, but I know what happened,” ….

Great article. Corporations and Governments have the same opinions when it comes to ‘disposable people.’
“Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” – Henry Kissinger, quoted in “Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW’s in Vietnam”
That attitude is now being applied to ALL of us.
Report Comment
Indeed. The rest of us have always been looked at as “useless eaters” by the same psychotic creep (and the assorted other psychotic creeps that comprise the global corporate oligarchy). So, food is getting a little more scarce on Earth and I guess they have decided to “thin out” those “useless eaters” such that “they” (who rule) can continue on with their ever-indulgent consumption of resources that is certainly 1000s of times (and more) what the average human being gets to consume.

6-23-11: Radiation Alert was issued for Kauai
Kauai Radiation Monitors Detect Possible Fukushima Fallout
June 23, 2011
By Tim Flanegin
Yesterday, June 22nd, our network’s Monitoring Station on the island of Kauai, within the Hawaiian island chain, broadcast yet another Radiation Alert over the Network, at 8:08 A.M. local time – a 3 minute surge of 209, 456, and 186 CPM (Counts per Minute) respectively, accompanied by a generally elevated level leading up to that, and followed by another blip at 2:52 P.M.
The Kauai station indicates it was raining at the time, so we believe the precipitation brought down Fukushima fallout from the atmosphere.
This detection follows a similar, sustained elevated radiation level from the Kauai station on June 10th. Other than this, since the nuclear disaster in Japan, the stations on our Network that we believe to have detected Fukushima radiation in significant and noticeable levels have been limited to a couple of high altitude stations in Colorado, and an obvious one in Japan itself.
