People in America are constantly whining about Big Government and TOO MUCH regulation. Small government = large corporate power and little regard for human health. We need strong political support for environmental regulations that protect our air and water and energy development, yet we just cut a huge chunk out of the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget, thanks to republican pressure. This is the agency that forces industry to comply with air and water quality standards. Republicans want to gut it so that corporations can rape the planet and make huge profits, all at the expense of OUR health and common future.

These people could care less if a million children die from cancer. All that matters to them is that their corporate sponsors make more money with no over site.

It is really simple, small government, good laws that get enforced, industry, education, work. Strong military, but pull back from 150 occupied countries.

Too small of a government = laws not enforced.
But, if you look at legislation, it’s mainly the Republicans that want to gut agencies like the EPA that protect us. There is a difference between the parties.
That being said, too many politicians are not pushing for the alternatives so we can cut the oil, coal and nuclear cords.
