Title: Oi reactors to halt if fault found: new nuclear body chief
Source: Kyodo
Date: August 1, 2012
The government’s candidate to head Japan’s new nuclear regulatory authority said Wednesday he expects the two reactors at the Oi nuclear plant in western Japan to halt operations should there be any active fault found underneath them.
Shunichi Tanaka, former vice chairman of the Japan Atomic Energy Commission, made the remark about the Nos. 3 and 4 reactors of the Kansai Electric Power Co. plant after they were restarted last month despite lingering public concerns.

They should be stopped. Nuke is the extreme opposite of everything Shinto stands for.
Fukushima has polluted our Home Planet with 10's of tons of Uranium and copious quantities of Plutonium, here is the proof using EPA data

How kind and thoughtful of them…
Is it thoughtfulness in the part of the government..
Or the fact alarms went off…26 times?

Japan is a powerkeg waiting to explode. A second nuclear disaster would light the fuse. Politicians are not stupid, just opportunists. Change the game and they adapt like chameleons.
Austerity should occur in Japan in government operations except where Fukushima Daiichi is concerned. They should solicit more funds and equipment from USA, France, Russia, and China.
Sometimes you have to admit defeat before you can rebound. Japan has lost the battle to contain Fukushima NPP. The question is can they win the war to save Japan?

Nuclear is far too risky. Every country needs to check the air, crops, livestock, their children, and their own lungs, and turn off the nuclear reactors.

Please consider arranging a rally where you live in solidarity. You might consider joining with your local Occupy group to set this up.
