Follow-up to: Hydrogen levels continue rising at Reactor No. 2 -- Now above .50%, highest in months -- Explosion risk at 4%
Dr. Helen Caldicott interviews Arnold Gundersen

Gundersen: Slowly over the last couple of weeks the hydrogen has continued to build up inside the containments…
It’s coming from the bombardment of water from all the radiation that’s in the core. So a radioactive particle that’s just h20 splits to crank out the hydrogen.
It was incredibly low, now it’s up to about half a percent hydrogen.
So the trend is worrisome.
It has to get to 4% though… before it explodes.
So there’s still a margin to prevent an explosion.
So the trend, why is the hydrogen going up, is worrisome…

Exactly, yet people will continue posting more suspect information like Potrblog below.
Very sad.
Has Potrblog even responded to Anti-Proton setting the record straight on his theories?

That potrblog meat is from July 2011. Nothing to do with recent hydrogen spikes so why post here.
The question is why is the hydrogen increasing recently. What has changed?

Tacoma I think you're right the crust, if any crust has formed just cracks open like an egg and I think perhaps that is when we say the nasty black smoke emanating from the ground at the base or between the reactors.

Hey Tacomagroove… have you heard from Xdrfox lately? Haven't seen his posts in a while…or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place? I had a Horrible morning this morning… a little hummingbird was at my feeder…having the SAME seisures as the Tanuki in the Fuku video feed. It had sores on it's shoulders and was shuttering and freezing into weird positions. it was trying to eat, but it's tongue was sticking out farther than normal. All of a sudden it fell off it's perch and hit the ground. I ran out, scooped it up in my hand, being ever so careful of the tiny magnificent creature, and it died in my hand. I sobbed. Looked up at the sky and asked God why are the little ones suffering? The innocents? I buried it in my flower bed. What a fucking Horrible way to start the morning!

I have not seen him for about 13days, give or take.
Did he have any health issues?
Also to lighten you up about your experience this morning…
he didn't die my friend. He just went home

Thank you! That DID help! not sure why I didn't think of that…guess it was just the shock of it all. On Xdrfox…I'm not sure. I don't "post" alot…but I am on here 2 to 3 or more times a day..and noticed his absence.
Have a good one..Tacoma! I'm here in Western Oregon.

I agree… The spate of offthread postings is something a handful of posters need to work on because they disregard the designated topics and lead off on something else. I am not OCD but I do like to see postings relate to the thread topic. It's alright to make a posting mistake, but not ten times a day. No need to drop names of offtopic bandits….:-) Thus spake SP… Veteran of 24 years and 100k plus postings on Usenet.
Please post in General or Offtopic threads when your topic is new.
Thank you for your consideration. I do have a followup for the POTR posts and will be placing my remarks in General Discussion.

on this thread was to get wide viewing quickly. Realize this
guy Potrblog may not the be the authority we give to him if
recent comments about controversies with his theories and

Potrblog team reporting tonight radiation in America cows. It speaks for itself!

"ALERT! Radioactive Fallout Identified In and On US Ground Beef
The POTRBLOG team spent $1,100 dollars to have US ground beef tested by professional labs for radioactive contamination from Plutonium, Strontium, and Gamma producing radionuclides. The ground beef samples tested were from a grass fed cow which went to the butcher in July of 2011; the radioactive testing occurred during the first week of May 2012.
The ground beef sample returned readings showing that the cow had ingested radioactive fallout. The sample also had readings which point to a recent nuclear fission and control rod fire occurring within the last few weeks. The results of that testing are presented in the video below."
pissinontheroses.blog.com
the corium activity last couple of weeks plus other fission activity at Fukushima is now
showing up in the grass the cows feed on. no surprise. though quite upsetting.
This also means more ongoing fall out on our food crops–the grain crops, the vegetables, the seed oil crops,
The silence from those who should be doing the testing is criminal.
Thank you POTRBLOC.

Wait. "The sample also had readings which point to a recent nuclear fission and control rod fire occurring within the last few weeks."
How could a beef sample from July 2011, which was hopefully stored in a freezer since then, show signs which point to a recent "control rod fire"?
Errrm…sorry, no.

You must have missed the part where he thinks that the 20 minutes out in the open air, when they divied it up into smaller portions, is when it became contaminated with the short half life radionuclides.
Report Comment
Morning Jebus, do you think that's plausible?
Report Comment
I am certainly not professionally qualified to make that determination but, if the beef was laid out in the open and with condensation forming on the surface from thawing, (drawing moisture from the air), the likelihood of it drawing ionized radiation with it is great. My question is if the building that this took place in has that much floating around inside it, what would it be if it was outside for 20 minutes thawing?
The other issue would be the fact that none of the prior steps were documented more than just dates. Should have been video documented right from the happy cow standing there chewing it's radioactive cud…

July 2011 was when beef and pork first caused me metal mouth. It got much worse after that…
This testing was from an independent lab. I wonder what Arnie Gundersen thinks about this. I am assuming that he will cover this in his next video.

I am aware this post is off topic to the thread. Though there are related.
Hydrogen build up comes from the descending corium blob interacting with the
water now causing radioactive steam for last couple of weeks along with
Gamma flashes from neutron release. All this nuclear activity is coming our way
to no surprise and we are now getting measurements on the fall out
………Once the video is up at 1am cdt will know more
details of the testing…….

Potrbolog video lost its sound some 4 minutes into it.
I will tell from recollection what he said.
Contamination from recent fuel rod fire at Fukushima
Scary Thought
Barium 140 with half life of 14 days and LA 120 (?) there in the ground beef
Says this indicative of the April 30th radiological events at Fukushima.
Gave a total figure of the bq/kg found in the ground beef. it was in the 1 billion range.
then the video went silent and now stuck at some 4;53 minutes into it.
lets see if there is censorship on if there is a video problem
WAS THIS CENSORED ON NATIONAL SECURITY CONCERNS?
no need for commentary at this moment. let it silently be for a moment.

I listened to all of it and the US Government is complicit in a crime against it's own people by turning off public access to the radiation monitors thereby denying people the right to protect themselves and their families. There should be a FOIA request for the data, and if denied, the US Government should be taken to trial by it's people, for access to the data. Someone should be held responsible for this criminal act.

Tepco Data Reveals Nuclear Meltdown In Reactor 4 Spent Fuel Pool
http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2012/05/16/tepco-date-reveals-nuclear-meltdown-reactor-4-spent-fuel-pool-133571/
"That chart shows a highly level of radioactive iodine 131 was released from the reactor 4 spent fuel pool, which means there was a nuclear meltdown in the pool.
Last year TEPCO downplayed the detection of cesium in the fuel pool by claiming the cesium detected in reactor 4 was only 1/100th of the mount detected in reactor 1, 2 and 3 hence concluding the detected cesium was likely ‘blown’ into reactor 4 from the other reactors.
However, TEPCO hid the fact they detected a massive release of iodine radiation – which is a clear sign of a nuclear meltdown – in reactor 4 spent fuel pools."

Can hydrogen be requested to give away progressively by using such a method, similar to the disposal of teh hydrogen when charging?
http://bater.pl/en/recombination-plug
Anything to the atmosphere, you don't need to sit in the application of this method. Everything is in the reactor, and the hydrogen is not…
