  • Ambassador warning that international help must be brought in to prevent next domino from falling, which could begin with Unit 4 and an earthquake
  • We’re basically groping in the dark, nobody really knows

TEPCO and the Japanese Government have thus far failed utterly to adequately address the Fukushima Diiachi nightmare. The time has come to field an international effort to stop the pollution of the Biosphere on Earth from 3 melted coriums of nuclear fuel, plus melted and burned fuel in spent fuel pools at 4 reactors. The US and every nation on the planet has suffered from this failure of TEP.gov to adequately deal with this problem. In the months since the accident, on several occasions, TEPCO has had to evacuate workers from the site, as radiation levels from the failed reactors and burning spent fuel pools have risen to deadly levels. Only luck has allowed workers to return to keep temporary systems working. In the future, if these workers are driven off for days at a time, one after another of the reactors and spent fuel pools at Fukushima will fail, requiring the evacuation of wider and wider areas, perhaps including Tokyo, and perhaps including all of Japan. We have a short time to respond. We must think big, and act decisively.

Wow thanks RT. Good closing statement. Well said/explained. Fukushima has been completely out of control since day 1. Do you really want to waste our beautiful land and kill millions were another mark I should fail?

TiIiIIiiime is on our side, yes it is NOT !

I would not be surprised if the japanese government is wasting time to figure out what to ask in return for such a generous gesture to invite other nations/cultures for help and what protocols they are to follow when trying to stop an E.L.E from completing. Aaah human way's..

Do you really think the human powers on Earth as so dumb they can't get together and work on containing the disaster? Think again. Those powers know exactly what they are doing. If 80% of the world's human population was killed, they would consider the project a success. What better way than to kill with something that is invisible, tasteless and odorless. Complete deniability. And make the same humans pay for their own destruction. Ecocide brought to you by the same people that run the Nuclear Weapons Industry. A real nice bunch of folks. Blowing the Earth up 100 times over seems a good idea to them. They have prepared to survive this Genocide and reboot the human race after culling the billions of humans, that in their opinion, over populated Earth. Take a look at Eugenics. Read up.

Yes i really think they are that stupid/disconnected that they can not get togheter and fix there "mistakes/lost faces/E.L.E's " , because that option is not build in the delussional algoritme they have as an OS. But then again they could indeed be also stupid enough to kill an entire planetairy biosystem just to get rid of a surplus of a specific species. Because you can't live locked up underground for thousands or millions of years and then restore the "garden". They will kill eachother relatively soon.

It sounds good but I don't think these guys are that bright.

    Report Comment

    • That's what scares me. They're so 'un-bright' – of the Anne Coulter variety – they think those cute little particles sent out to kill the world are not going to affect them and their families as well.

Like a gun that shoots forward and backwards at the same time.

I think a lot of this depends on the effects of low-level radiation, but they can easily pass those 'kooks' off as liberals or mere bookish academics. Never mind that some, like Prof. Sternglass actually worked with, and was encouraged by, Einstein. (Sternglass has spent his entire life trying to find a way of reducing low-level radiation in the medical field).

The latest study came out today: low-level radiation is bad for you, it can kill, it can be worse than high-level radiation – especially for chromosomes.

Un-bright hmm aye that would be a better word to use here . Sry that it did not appear in my eyeside while holding the mental picture . Thx Pu

Yesterday there was a commenter/politican on making a election joke that electricity is the problem, cut it off and no more wrong ads or something like that. But it was totally out of place or had nothing to do with the question, combined with an awkward smile attempt. Indeed the mocking of the agenda/people that still can add 1+1 . Injected in the collective consciousness to make the collective algoritme of the scheeple even more un-bright.

The emergency zones around nuclear power plants will shrink and everyone will be in more danger, unless everyone makes a difference. Let your voice be heard…

Instead of looking at Fukushima and creating a more safe environment, the Federal Emergency Management Agency actually quietly weakened its emergency evacuation rules late last year (on December 23, to be exact).

There needs to be an international effort to make people safer around nuclear power plants, not the opposite.

"Mysterious Illness Strikes Hundreds of Flight Attendants, Causes Rashes and Hair Loss – are 'Toxic Uniforms' Really to Blame or is it Fukushima?"

Hundreds of Alaska Airlines flight attendants have filed a formal complaint about uniforms they suspect might be causing their skin to rash and develop lesions, and their hair to fall out. But based on the timing of the symptoms and their relation to similar symptoms in local marine life and polar bear populations, it appears as though radiation from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster may also be a potential culprit.

Tepco and Japan gov out of their league I implore you to accept any help offered
Russia throw all it had at Chernobyl to the point of bankruptcy and that was one reactor partially contained,
Japan has three and a SFP tethering on destruction, and taking bank holidays with a grand plan in place to deal with situation in SFP in 5 to 7 years, not good enough, you need new plan more money more workers.

    • You'd think, the very situation for which the UN was created fails to inspire any help from the UN, although that could be said of other disasters as well.

      or,

WHO + IAEA = high level of death from low level radiation

Japan, Canada and the United States are seated at a table.
Japan has a pistol in each hand, pointed at Canada and the United States.

Japan doesn't know what to do. Japan has no ideas. Japan is out of money. Japan is sitting on a bomb, liable to go off at any time.

Now, do we have something to talk about?

    Report Comment

    • Seems the rest of the world has no ideas either. Japan is basically killing the rest of the world just so it can save face.

No faces to save if this continues.

Even worse, I think it's a done deal. The pistols have already been fired. Canada provided the ammunition, the U.S. put the gun together and backed them against a wall, and the combined stupidity of an entire planet helped them fire it.

The bullet keeps bouncing all over the place for many billions of years and takes out everyone at the table.

At 4.54 of 6.13 of the video, Gunter says:
U1, 2 and 3 vented hydrogen into U4 [which caused the explosion]
    How is this possible?
Surely they have stand alone unit venting?
    Can anybody explain this?
Is this a viable explanation of U4 explosion, or rubbish?

back on topic; if international help arrives, it will quicky determine or announce where the melted cores are leading to a cascade of helpfull ideas and studies to help stop this catastrophe. yes, there are immense and unpleasant social ramificatitions to this, the question is, what will it take to overcome these? and of course its possible that social/emotional issue is never addressed, hence the on-going catastrophe. and of course this applies to us also.
