The M6.1 quake to hit Chiba was rated a 5+ intensity, two categories stronger than the M6.8 that hit an hour and 45 minutes prior. On the Japanese scale there are only three levels more intense than a 5+.

Solar activity and EQ's are related, expect to see more activity very soon!
Here is my explanation of the Black G☢☢
I believe that the reason for the high Cesium counts is the interaction of Earth Quakes (EQ's) with the Corium(s) with the groundwater below the complex and that may even be cause of the Black Dust that is now being widely observed in Northern Japan.
EQ's + H☢T Corium(s) + Ground water = (Hydro Corium) Fissioning
Fissioning + Time => Radioactive Steam Releases => Black Dust
Black Dust + the burning of radioactive Debris forms Black G☢☢

We can't stop earth quakes, so we better stop building these plants and close down the ones we have.

What is wrong with this "Picture"?
1. Tepco is one the "GANGS" that runs Japan.
2. What is good for TEPCO is good for Japan.
3. The Japanese people MUST OBEY TEPCO for the "GOOD" of the Country.
4. The financial health of TEPCO is more important than the physical health,
… of the Japanese People and all their FUTURE children!
5. Only TEPCO knows what is best, all others must BOW to TEPCO's Rule.

Some poster at HP said Any quake that doesn't cause massive damage may actually be a good thing, ironically, because it's better when tectonic pressure is released a little at a time rather than all at once.
WITH THE PLANTS SO UNSTABLE THOUGH, I DONT THINK ANY EQ IS GOOD EH?
Report Comment
Hi Whoopie
Maybe it is better if pressure is released little at a time, I don't know?
However, with Nuclear Plants that are in trouble, I don't see how this can be good a good thing??

Report Comment
Seismic experts generally agree a series of smaller EQ's is good for relieving pressure from a fault. However, since they may shift things on one fault, they can put pressure on another fault at its juncture with the one that moved. So it depends upon whether or not the EQ event happens on a fault that is more or less isolated from other faults, or not.

A minor tsunami hit Japan's northeastern coastline today after a strong earthquake rocked the region nearly a year on from Japan's worst post-war natural disaster. The 10-centimetre wave and 6.8 magnitude quake, which struck some 210 kilometres off the northern island of Hokkaido, prompted local authorities to issue an evacuation warning for coastal residents. Japan's meteorological agency had initially said the tsunami could be as high as 50 centimetres, but US monitors said there was no Pacific-wide tsunami threat. RSOE

I've seen a lot of sick stuff in my career, but this was sick on a new level.
Here was the handwritten log kept by a senior engineer at the nuclear power plant:
Wiesel was very upset. He seemed very nervous. Very agitated. . . . In fact, the plant was riddled with problems that, no way on earth, could stand an earth- quake. The team of engineers sent in to inspect found that most of these components could "completely and utterly fail" during an earthquake.
"Utterly fail during an earthquake." And here in Japan was the quake and here is the utter failure

Jumping in…. I think its one thing for 90% of other couuntries to be oblivious, but given the accident OCCURRED and CONTINUES to HARM the WHOLE WORLD, it is INEXCUSABLE for the Japanese and grossly irresponsible to still claim any ignorance about this disaster.
It like a child playing with matches setting a whole neighborhood on fire and then being EXCUSED for their denial of what they have done. If nothing is changed we are doomed to repeat the events.
Nothing new , sadly not a new development…. hence my bitterness upon reading it yet again.
It doesn't take much for a person like rooks to inform themselves, communicate, and OWN IT.
Love you WSP & rooks… really feeling the hate the f'n situation and the stunned people it takes to create and continue it.

Anthony,
There are about 90 military bases in Japan. The United States government knows what is going on from the technician level to the top.

The U.S. government knows far more than the Japanese people. Everyone knew much more before the U.S. representatives went to Japan. Afterwards, most international radiation tracking agencies stopped their reporting to the public.

Hi NoNukes
I think Government Officials and professionals know what is happening, since day one.
We were talking about that there are still people all over, who would rather ignore this.
Report Comment
It is worse in United States than in Japan, at least in Japan they have been protesting for a year.
Wherever there are 90 military bases in such a small nation, it indicates that the country is under military occupation.
Do you honestly think that if every man, woman and child in Japan protested, that the Yakuza government would change if the United States government told them not to?
The burden is more on the people in the United States, because they might have some slight influence on the occupying power. I am not aware of such protests in the United States, so I think that it is Americans that need to get their act together.

Sadly, one must assume, due to the lack of msm reporting, that things are very bad there in Japan.. if it was just your average earthquake and tsunami.. we may have heard about it..
I am glad most of Japan's nuclear plants are shut down, this is more proof that all of Japan's need to be shut, and the rest of the world must follow..
As I read Karl Grossman's book, that he sent me, from 1982, "Cover up: What you are not supposed to know about Nuclear Power", I am horrified and outraged..
..did you know that 15 to 30 seconds is all the recovery time, from a loss of emergency core cooling system, that operators have to gain control prior to the accident proceeding out of control?
I really suggest all enenewsers read Karl's material, he is an amazing investigative journalist that has the details, or should I say dirt! So much outrageous information, from 1982.. and I am only on page 20!!!!

You got it Jill..
..he starts the book explaining how if nuclear anything, whether bomb, or power accident, damages your home or car, your insurance is worthless.. all insurance policies exclude coverage of nuclear incidents.
..then he shares the Federal Response Plan for Peacetime Nuclear Emergencies…that is mind blowing, and if read by the citizens of this country, we might not have to worry about nuclear power as it is frightening in its sheer enormity..
..then he moves on to the government report from the Atomic Energy Commission.. Theoretical possibilities and consequences of major accidents in large Nuclear power plants, which has big underlined letters that spell out DO NOT CIRCULATE
..now I am in the Atomic Energy Act..oh boy, here is a nice tidbit.. "The more money a utility spends on construction, the more money regulatory agencies let it make. Each new billion dollar nuclear plant constructed by a utility, even when ratepayers' money is used, allows it to make many millions of dollars more.
Did you know that the multinational oil giants dominate the nuclear field? they bought up most of the uranium mines and reserves as well as milling and fuel fabrication centers…
and really, this is all in the first 17 pages..the next page or two talk about Nuclear power costs and how solar and renewable energies, based on a study in 1978 by the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources subcommittees' report "Nuclear Power Costs", are cheaper and produce more jobs…"If the federal government spent only a small portion of what it has already spent on nuclear power development for the commercialization of solar power, solar generated electricity would be economically feasible within five years."
THIS IS IN 1978!!! Talk about outrage!
Report Comment
IMHO, everyone here should also read the novel, The Prize. It's about how the oil companies came into being in the U.S., the Rockefeller family, and much more. That and the House of Morgan are must-reads, to put things as they are now into proper historical context.
We cannot fully grasp why things are the way they are today unless we understand the historical context.
