a local japanese medical reactor perhaps?

there could be a southerly extension fallout from the mountains, this could have dropped some clouds or particulates on tokyo according to safecast map.. my reading of it!
under the yellow marked boxes the green reads 0.18 mcSv/h in the mountain region and then the monitoring stops for a bit??
heres the japanese safecast map

The smokefest at Fuku has reached Tokyo. Here is the wind direction (Fuku at upper right corner):

yep that shows a path sw from diachi then turning to tokyo!
strange the other monitors have not picked it up?? is it high and falling with the fog/percipitation?
Report comment
maybe more sensitive instrumentation i think.. that explains the safecast readings.. maybe delays between data points that miss the peaks.. they may be trained to erase the peaks as washout or instrument failure..

All seems ok in Adachi

For one year, the wind has been very kind to Tokyo. That time should have been used to prepare for today. What is the plan that was formulated during the past year? ______ Thought so.

The CCW flow of air combined with these heavy rains will tend to ever increase the both the "fallout" from the radioactive refuse burning and the ongoing radiation from Fukushima in Tokyo (and Northern Japan)!

Remember they are still dumping radioactive sludge into Tokyo Bay; that are is doomed for at least several decades…

Why is the radioactive decontamination of Northern Japan being referred to by the nuclear industry as "cleanup"? This is yet another PR attempt to put a smiling face on what for hundreds of thousands of people is a nuclear nightmare! The Gov't. has not even revealed what their isotopic analysis has found, mostly talking only about cesium which has been widely spread due to the reactor explosion, the triple meltdowns and of course the burning of radioactive tsunami debris…
From 1/11/12:
It is quite possible that the radioactive steam “event” that many have been warning about, has indeed started to happen and it is now “venting” radioactivity into the atmosphere over Japan! The wind charts for the last few days will tell the tale as will the future… http://www.zerohedge.com/article/interactive-japan-wind-map

"yet another PR attempt.." That's right CaptD.
or… One could call it a BIG FAT LIE!!!
Cleanup? Cleanup what? They've got to stop the spewing first.
You can't mop the bathroom floor if the toilet is still overflowing. I mean, you can, but it won't do any good.

I live in Richmond BC, on the West Coast of Canada, and for the last several months radiation level at my home ( in the kitchen area is from 0.20 – 0.46 uSr/h)It is probably coming from new tiles. In other rooms it is around 0.12 – 0.15 uSv/h…
Report comment
Good to know, thanks GreenBay! Good detective work too on figuring the new tiles into the equation!

Wind forecasts for Tokyo:
http://www.weather-forecast.com/locations/Tokyo/forecasts/latest
http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/Tokyo+JAXX0085:1:JA
SP: Not a good place for 37 million people to be hanging out, but it is what it is.
The wind and rain are a deadly combination over the next ten days. Where is the great samurai warrior who could mobilize millions of workers to Fukushima Daiichi to try and save the Nihon people? Is there not anyone willing to try and save the people of mother earth who will die from toxic radiation?
Report comment
Yeah,…but 'he's' busy waiting and hoping someone ELSE will do it first.
Or,…forces greater than us are applying forbearance?
Weird ass'd shit these days,….passes for normal.
I'm lost,….but getting used to it!

What are the wind patterns like for Hawai'i from Japan? I know the ocean currents come from the east and thinking the wind might too. Washington isn't the best place to be any more and storms only take a few days to reach the east coast of USA so not much better there either.
