Rising doubts about Japan’s official radiation figures

As the two-year anniversary of the world’s second-worst nuclear accident nears, citizen groups are questioning the accuracy of the government’s contamination data for the area around the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. [...]

“We believe it is dangerous for people still living in highly contaminated areas,” said Hajime Matsukubo, a spokesman for the Tokyo-based Citizens’ Nuclear Information Center (CNIC). He points to independent studies indicating that people in Fukushima and Koriyama – cities well beyond the exclusion zone imposed by the government – are still exposed to high levels of radioactivity. [...]

The government provides information from remote monitors in and around the exclusion zone, but CNIC questions the accuracy of the data.

“There is a possibility that areas around the monitoring posts have already been decontaminated,” Matsukubo said. “We are deeply worried that these numbers are being accepted as official air radiation levels and used to estimate exposure.” [...]

  • Time Is Short Time Is Short

Omnicide in slow motion. Not fun to watch, is it? A whole government whose top priority is to kill the entirety of their own citizens as quickly as possible.

There is no record of anything like this in the entire history of this planet. This is an absolute first – leave no one of their own standing.

Not in anyone's worst hellish nightmares would they have imagined this actually happening, and we will all watch it in HD color.

And if anyone thinks this will be isolated to an island in the Pacific Ocean . . .

And then they do WHAT? What they should have done in the first place? Close Japan down and get the people out of there? And meanwhile, TEPCO has done this forever-horror and forced the passage of laws that they are not liable past three years. It's horrifying to see from even this far away. Those poor people.

Our government would have done the same thing as I recall Hillary Clinton clearing the way for Japanese fish, etc to be distributed here in the states without any testing thus our elected or rather paid for officials don't care about the little folks, we are dispensable. Look at LA, Hanford, etc and what those poor people are living through you don't see Bobby Jindal in Bayou Corne. Really you would think he could at least make an appearance and try to console the public. I thought that was part of the job.

MSM articles about Fukushima are rare like the Blue Mauritius. If you find one, it always starts with the phrase "the world’s second-worst nuclear accident" or the "the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl" or something like that. If they repeat it more often, I will start to believe it. (Not really.)

This quote says it all, doesn't it? —>

"Many also worry that the government may be more interested in economics and business than in people and health." said Joe Moross, an engineer and volunteer with Safecast Japan.

Root of the problem is nuclear itself.

Meltdowns can't be cleaned up, no matter the country.

Several countries are wrecked from meltdowns that have occurred in the United States, Russia, and Japan.

Location of the next nuclear meltdown is anyone's guess.

The truth is ( and its well documented ) is that the capital itself ( Tokyo )was and is contaminated by the fallout from Fukushima.Shortly after Fukushima blew !! the wind changed direction and blew Radiation as far south as Tokyo, so the Japanese government HAD TO LIE, because if they announced that the capital was radiated there would have been a mass exodus causing National panic !!…so I do understand their reasons for lying but DONT believe they made the right decision. Arnie Gunderson on Youtube plainly states that he personal collected and tested soil samples from various areas of Tokyo and they were ALL poitive and would be classed as radioactive waste.
