Japan nuclear radiation leak gives birth to earless bunny? (VIDEO), International Business Times, May 23, 2011:

An earless bunny was born near Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant, giving rise to fears that nuclear radiation leak is worse than expected and deformed human babies may be next in the list.

A Youtube video clip was posted by a member with the ID “yuunosato” titled, ‘Earless Bunny Born After Tokyo Electric Power Company Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Accident.’

The translated description of the clip reads:

“After the nuclear accident, government and the media said there was no immediate effect on the health. But in the town of Namie Tsushima, which is outside the 30 kilometer area or outside the mandatory evacuation zone, it happened. […]”

Oh what the hell, maybe immediate means one or two days to them…

    • UhOh

The CTBTO graphs of Cesium and Iodine used to be easy to find from the CTBTO home page.

Now you have to really search for them…and the ones I can find only go up to May 16th.

      That’s a week ago.

Can someone else try and see what they can find?

      Thanks.

Alright, Rachel. It was signed. #430 signatures, so far.

It maybe our own death sentence for signing this document, but it maybe anyway…either way.

        Thanks.

Not to say this can’t be caused by radiation. But a check on the internet shows other rabbits born this way..Or is caused by over grooming by the mother, she can chew them off.
This might have happened anyway..With this rabbit.. Time will tell..

this is going to turn out to be the worst nuclear disaster in history. the corporations are just trying to buy time to steal as much money as they can before it is too obvious

If they are leaking this info, the software must be at least 10 years old.

As Cathy O’Brien said in her MKULTRA lecture at the Granada Forum in 2001, the powers that be are 25 years ahead of us in science and technology . I assume that by now that gap is even larger.

In fact, I bet that they are watching this with a smirk on their faces as they pop their anti radiation pills.

WASHINGTON – Members of the Falun Gong spiritual movement have filed a lawsuit against Cisco Systems Inc. accusing it of supplying the Chinese government with computer-networking equipment used to spy on and persecute dissidents.

In a lawsuit filed last week, a group of Falun Gong practitioners alleges that Cisco provided networking gear and technical assistance to build and operate an elaborate system of Internet controls used by the Chinese government to track the online behavior of its citizens and block content it does not like.

The lawsuit accuses Cisco of aggressively marketing…

Chines government needs “dissidents” like the FLG cult to strengthen it’s position to rule. US govn’t needs FLG to spread misinformation about China. It’s just a circus show.

“Once developed, the software could allow US SERVICE PERSONNEL, working around the clock in one location, to respond to emerging online conversations with any number of co-ordinated messages, blogposts, chatroom posts and other interventions.”

Would these be the same US Service Personnel who are also dropping radioactive barium, strontium and aluminum on us via chemtrails?

US Service Personnel means that they are someone’s brother or sister or father or mother here in the USA. Are they working for us or against us?

    • splashy

Corporations have been doing this too, and are the ones supplying the software.

Why people think it’s only the government doing this, when it’s obvious the corporations are the ones making the money from all this is beyond me.

One guess who’s PAYING for this software.

Look for the forest around the plant to die off next. Not sure how long it took at Chernobyl but the area surrounding the plant became known as the Red Forest from the trees turning brown and dying.

    • charlie

Initially, increased plant growth and gigantism can be caused by radiation.

      • anne

I’m seeing large dandelions! Someone in Kansas had 3 trees die.

        • Same here! Noticing dandelions and ragweed are thriving, grass is also standing very upright since 311 and lush even if ground is dry. I think I am also seeing a silvery -ish tinge to the bark of all the trees and bushes. Its very very slight and sometimes I’m sure wrong but friends tell me I am knowing for seeing the slightest aspects of things. All this radiation, large or small as it is, is being synthesized by plants at a peak activity cycle – spring & summer. Its got to have an some impact, and it may be *positive* in the short term – in a way! Not!

            Tour of modern day Chernobyl

These enourmous dandelions exhibit the classic symptom of “gigantism” from exposure to radiation.

Huge clump of dandelion leaves approximately 31″ long found on a mountain about 4 ½ miles northwest of TMI (one of three found at this site). Three abnormally large dandelion plants were found in September 1984, within five feet of each other, in an area that was untouched since the days of the accident. It is not known if this plant had ever produced flowers.

Schools near TMI held contests for children to find the longest dandelion leaves.

These mutated dandelions are lying on a colored plastic sheet. 7. Over two dozen deformed dandelion flowers picked in a field across the driveway from young Mark’s home about 4 ½ miles north-northwest of TMI. Some stems were flat and solid, other were wide and hollow. Some flowers were very wide and oval shaped and others had multiple flower heads. ”

I noticed today a fine yellow powder on the top of my cold frame. The top is made of a solid sheet of polycarbonate.

      • xdrfox

If you can stomach the video you will see children with growth and gigantism can be caused by radiation.

      • noodles and cheese

I remember about a year or two after TMI the Village Voice printed pictures of hideously distorted dandelions the size of a dinner plate, brought in by a housewife in Harrisburg…and scientists ridiculed her because she did not have a degree. As if you need one to notice mutations like that. No one else ever printed the pictures. I recently found them again and they are still disturbing. How long did the mutated growth continue?

Hmmm maybe we are more at war than we thought, finish Gaddafi (just breaking in), then secure Pakistan’s nukes, then concentrate on Fukushima? Still seeking answers…

  • mark V

Professor Aki-something just appeared on BBC World, he looked like very very very guilty boy, voice trembling so that it was difficult to understand, and the summary is that IAEA are arriving today to revise plans to contain Fukushima, and maybe provide additional resources to Tepco. So I think at this moment they are being caught with murder.

  • ZombiePlanet

    Now we have the circus.

  • J.Cohen

Thank you for enews. A great service.

However, a given number of deformed animals (humans too) are bound to be born in a given geographic area at any time, even prior to this accident. There is no evidence that one deformed rabbit is due to the reactors. (I once raised rabbits, and many slightly deformed rabbits are naturally born).

    • Poor Daddy

OK..You want evidence? Wait a year and you’ll have all the evidence you can stomach….if you and your lungs and thyroid are still here to witness no legged human babies born with their brains hanging out their necks. I don’t need evidence any more. I need to prepare as best I can and I need lots of hope. Evidence or not my friend, we be fucked.

Dandelions…lots and lots in Colorado too…more then usual. Same thing with the grasses. Little water, yet healthy.

Some wild parsley in the garden is really dark green and lush also. It has received natural conditions all spring, which by the way is finally getting to Southern Colorado. It has been a cold slow start. All this years veggies are under mini-greenhouses and so far so good!

Could this really be a tell-tale sign of radiation contamination? Rich lush weeds? And if this be the case, what affects are happening to the upcoming fruits and vegetables all over the west?

Please input discussion around the affects on plants from radiation.

    Thanks for the good info.

Killing the Unborn … With Radiation

“embryos are most vulnerable to radiation in the first trimester–particularly in the first two weeks after conception. This period carries the highest risk of radiation-induced abortion and adverse changes in organ development. During this stage of development the tiny fetus can be fifteen times more sensitive to radiation-induced cancer than in its last trimester of development, and up to a thousand or more times more sensitive than an adult. In general it is believed that fetuses in the very early stages of development are most vulnerable to penetrating radiation such as X rays and gamma rays.

In all stages, they are vulnerable to emitting isotopes ingested by the mother.”

I noticed a fine yellow powder on my car. Fortunately, I work at a lab that does small particle identification; they showed me my sample under the microscope, and it was pollen. This IS a very bad year for pollen!

This type of stupid story seriously compromises the integrity of this otherwise (usually) excellent website. Please get a grip. There’s no reason to think that the earlessness of this rabbit was caused by radiation, simply because there was radiation. There was an earthquake too, do you think the rabbit’s condition was caused by that? Or maybe by blue skies and sunshine?

  • sandman

On second thought, I’m sorry, enenews, this doesn’t compromise your always excellent website. It’s obviously humor, I’m just used to looking for serious news here. And for the people who believe the rabbit thing, what can you say, oh well.

  • Jack

sandman….genetic damage, as you know, is demonstrably common
around the world near nuke exposure places.
It’s not ridiculous. You did take some biology, didn’t you?
The Next generations are going to bear watching.
Maybe the Earless one is also sterile?
Maybe they will go for this bunny as a new extra-cute pet-shop bunny?

  • sandman

Jack, just because genetic damage can be caused by radiation does not mean that all genetic damage is caused by radiation, or that this rabbit has genetic damage caused by radiation. There are other things that cause earless rabbits. (You might consider re-reading your little biology book.) You are just making a groundless assumption that you know which potential cause of earlessness affected this particular animal. Siwwy wabbit! (sorry)

  • Citoyenne

Everyone, please calm down. Mutations and abonormal development are ridiculously common: Roughly 25-30% of all human pregnancies terminate because of significant fetal abnormality, and that’s WITHOUT radiation! Are the rabbits contaminated with fallout? Do they have significant chromosomal damage? Is there an increase deformities?
