Minamisoma City council member Koichi Oyama on May 29, 2012, translated by Dissensus Japan:

[...]

Japan must be the only place in the whole world where there are hundreds of thousands, several millions becquerels of radioactive isotopes in urban areas, isn’t it?

Especially in Minamisoma City there’s incomparable highly radioactive blue algae on the school routes.

I hope The Chairman of The Committee of Decontamination Promotion in Minamisoma City and The Mayor will break the promises at the assembly and collect the black radioactive isotope.

Dr. Hiroaki Koide, Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute:
‘Even if the Japanese gov’t goes into bankruptcy, it still won’t be enough to compensate all the damages that will be produced’

Before discounting this previous Enenews headline as just further hyperbole, I suggest the reader look at Dr. Hiroaki Koide's presentations.

Coming to his informed conclusions, how can the Japanese nuclear industry continue to pursue what has been, so far, a catastrophic road in their attempts to develop the failed breeder program, pushing it back to 2030, and now further to 2050? While the waste continues to build?!?

The toxins and consequences are already upon us.

There is no need for nuclear power generation. Solar can meet the planet's needs. The population was not properly informed of this, but it is true.

    1. SHUT ALL NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS DOWN, NOW.

    2. PUT ALL NUCLEAR RESEARCH EFFORTS INTO DEALING WITH, IN THE MOST IMMEDIATE MANNER, THE HIGH-LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE IN THE SPENT FUEL POOLS. (A failed decades-long breeder reactor research program, with no successful end in sight, DOES NOT CUT IT.)

Just like Enron; the nuclear industry is doomed to fall at some point. The worse the calamity, the faster the fall.

Of course, it would help if more insiders came forward and told the truth, because that is what would speed up the collapse.

From the very beginning, the whole industry has been operating in almost total secrecy while at the same time exposing civilians/children/seniors to dangerous radiation.

      And that's the problem.
There are no victims inside this industrie
(besides the "hot stuff workers") and so…
If they open their mouths they will accuse themselves.
      Perfect trap.
