Japan government prepares plan to flee Tokyo
ABC News (Australia)
August 9, 2011

Japan is considering the possibility of creating a back-up capital city in case a major natural disaster, like the March 11 earthquake, strikes Tokyo. [...]

It is feared if a massive earthquake like the March magnitude 9.0 quake struck Tokyo, it could destroy the country’s political and economic base.

yes, and they are making up an excuse to move while publicly ignoring radiation.

its like they treat radiation like a fart. no one talks about a fart.

people here in town of dease lake are many sick and home from work. (northern bc) west coast canada…

i think it is the radiation releases because two weeks ago the radiation was getting worse in fukushima and therefore the bad air would be here for a while…

the whole continent is getting misted.

they probably flee because of radition too and don’t mention it, but they are not lying about an earthquake which could strike Tkyo in a the future like the one from March 11th. Tokyo is a more dangerous sismic zone than other cities in west japan like Osaka. I don’t know if you have already heard about this professor of Kobe University Ishibashi Katsuhiko ? He was the one who founds the neologism genpatsu-shinsai (earthquake causing nuclear disaster) and he already warmed the japanese governement about the total unsafety of anti earthquake measure about japanese nuclear reactors in 2007 (obviously nobody heard him…) But in 2005 he was among other japanese scientists who discovered in 2005 that a future big one (like in california) is waiting japan in the 40 years to come, (they don’t know where it could really hit, kanto, or chubu, or even kansai) but they know this earthquake could be the worst that japan ever knew (even worse than the one from march 11th) and it could kill not only 20 000 people but more than one million… Based on this, japanese governement already planned to move capital away from tokyo as soon as possible, but the project was abandonned (at least it wasn’t mentionned anymore) until march 11th. This plan is no news, it makes 6 years now they are considering it and march 11th disaster did make it back in the media, they already mentionned it in the national diet around april or may, you can find a video about it on youtube (i have to find it back too.)

I agree it’s the radiation they are concerned over and still covering up/lying to the public. FYI, us commenting here does nothing. Very large numbers need to step up and challenge the nuclear industry/government. Most of the people I know either don’t care or aren’t aware that this nuke disaster is still ongoing due to the lack of media coverage. These people will continue to operate and build more of these deadly nuclear plants until the majority is against them.

I don’t think they have fled before, due to the earth quakes they get there.

I believe it’s because of the Radiation. I can’t blame anyone for getting out of there.

This is really the first admission by the Japanese Government radiation “is” affecting Tokyo.

    Think of it like this:
    A.Earthquake
    B.Tsunami
    C.Nuclear Meltdown
    D.Evidence of Radiation in Tokyo
E:There is a coverup but families of government officials start making up their own minds.
F:Divisions occur between “normal people” in government.
G:Solution to start moving functions to OSAKA gradually to maintain employees. They will probably move the officials with kids first.
H:They all sell off their properties to the unsuspecting population.
I:Before you know it the whole government has moved and the people catch on.
J:It becomes impossible to sell property at market value and pay off mortgages for residents who suspect why the government shifted as I think quite a few would catch on.
K:Nuclear crisis, Economic crisis and we start to see all the illnesses firstly around Fukushima and eventually expanding.
L:Japan admits the severity but too late for most. As usual the “average” people lose.

    THE END

btw in reference to the story, I think it is significant that they are even talking about this, considering they (the Japanese) have a cultural refusal to run away from a problem (yeah I know, they seem to be ok with denial). This has even been evident in the general attitude towards those evacuated from the exclusion zone, who are apparently seen as having failed in some way (and probably feel some sense of failure themselves). Go figure.

meanwhile, all the wind takes all the radiation to north america then all places else.

im eating marijuana oil in order not to get cancer.

    it tastes terrible.

i’m eating one gram per day.

this takes a half-pound of marijuana per month.

this may or may not suppress the effects from fukushima.

mairjuana oil… though it cures cancer, leukemia, herpes, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, warts, diabetes, and more, no one knows if it can help someone who is radioactive.

…but it’s my only hope…. what else has a chance of being that magical?

and i’ll only know if it works if all the people around me get ill.

i’m scared, but life is an adventure.

hey you guys?… you know how in chernobyl, the dose that those guys got who went up onto the roof 6 or so times was much greater than was reported.

now, because their dose was much greater than reported, and because we use the official numbers to figure out how much radiation is survivable, we are wrong in the figures.

we are able to handle more radiation than the official numbers that the guys who went up on the roof got.

they were able to handle about 8 times that number because they all got about 8 times more radiation than reported…

… so is this why we’re not all dead yet… ? because by the numbers, there should be alot more sick and dead shouldn’t there be?

is rocky the racoon even dead yet?

    how many workers are dead?

larry it’s not about being ‘dead’. Everyone knows how quality of life is reduced by a relatively harmless illness like the ‘flu, having any of the various health issues from radiation exposure would be devastating, especially in light of the ongoing risk to future generations. This is a slow moving menace, thus the difficulty making enough people aware of it to make some positive changes.

I don’t know where you are located, but I am in the SF Bay Area, and I have not been feeling sick; I actually feel better than usual lately sometimes. People I know have had small illnesses, but nothing major or that could be definitely blamed on radiation.

I take some precautions, though…I stay indoors a lot more often, take zeolite and drink kombucha every day. But the people around me in general seem healthy enough, too, and they don’t do anything.

I am just wondering because there still has been no clear information about radiation levels in this area…I am sure we were totally nuked in March, April and possibly beyond, but I am not sure what the dangers are now, although I have seen the live cam and it looks truly frightening sometimes.

the oil has no mental effect because i take it daily and the dose must be increased to get high.

it’s like when we were kids and took acid… we knew you had to take double if you wanted high the next day right?… lol

the man who turned me on to eating oil is rick simpson. he has a video called “run from the cure”

i watched that video and i started taking the oil.

i did not have cancer, nor was i sick, but my goal was to be completely healthy by eating this cure-all. (and i can read faces and voices well, and the testimonials i saw and heard in the video i knew were true.

and rick simpson says his friends say he looks younger.

and i look younger and feel younger.

i know that the oil is the cure for all of the long term effects that fukushima can cause… health-wise that is… that is not respecting the children who may be born of someone on thc but highly irradiated.

very high doses of radiation will likely not be shielded by thc; i feel that a cancer cure will not be a bad thing to take in this situation.

i’m spreading the idea because i like people.

Yes, radiation is slowly driving out officials, business owners, and CEOs. I mean common, who wants to walk around with a geiger counter in their pocket all day testing everything they eat only to find it TIC up to 30cpm. No one. Eventually I can see the big wigs being elsewhere. I addition, more EQs mean more reactors melting down. The EQs will not subside, and appear to only be on the rise. In addition, they need to do this quietly so the world doesn’t catch only the Japan’s production will start to dwindle even more than what it has already. EQs, radiation tsunamis, loss of leadership, more and more grid loss means less and less production. The world relies on Japanese components. A shortage of these items will wreak havoc upon the markets and currencies.

Last but not least, it is possible Japan wants to evacuate their entire people because of some other unforeseen reason…but they must not use the “evacuate” word so the world doesn’t go into panic mode. There could be Earth changes underway.

On a serious note though, I don’t think eventual abandonment of Tokyo is far fetched anymore. Fukushima is Godzilla, three of them,(and probably 4 when the area becomes too irradiated for workers, another quake hits, and number 4 goes down). Prosecution of Tepco and government officials is long overdue for this crime against humanity.

Add to this the continuous rubbing action of the archimedean lever effect surges of the dams- also causing surges of giant forces because of rapid fill up of the reservoirs- the giant sledge-hammer effects resulting in Love and Rayleigh waves travelling across the cruts of Japan and the world and the friction heating the crusts up- Lo you have heatstrokes of course! And constant earthquakes; you already had three today-5.2 MM so the highest.
