TEPCO releases results of investigation of Fukushima accident causes, The Denki Shimbun (The Electric Daily News), Dec. 06, 2011:

(TEPCO) released December 2 the results of its internal investigation into the causes of the Fukushima I nuclear power station accident that had become the world’s largest nuclear disaster [...]

  • “Regarding the accident management plan that had been developed prior to the accident, the plant operator concluded that there was no problem with the plan”
  • TEPCO’s report said “while measures for preventing hydrogen explosions for unit 3 had been considered, equipment had not arrived in time”
  • TEPCO “concluded that the large noise after 6 a.m. on March 15 had been a hydrogen explosion caused by flow from the unit 3 vent (steam emissions) into unit 4″
  • “Strong possibility that there had been an instrument failure rather than an explosion at the unit 2 suppression pool”

“Regarding the accident management plan that had been developed prior to the accident, the plant operator concluded that there was no problem with the plan”

So I guess the problem must have been with the accident.

“TEPCO’s report said “while measures for preventing hydrogen explosions for unit 3 had been considered, equipment had not arrived in time””

R3 had no hydrogen explosion. this is a shameless lie. in best case it was a criticality event in the SFP causing a steam explosion.

sorry.*g.i wrote from the effect,as water becomes steam when heated over 100 ° C and expands.people say it expands to 15 times the volume the water had before becoming steam.that is a little explosion!so the melted core has over 3000° C.and there is NO way to bring water to the core for cooling.the first one who explained this was a physician named leidenfrost.a “herplatte” is a plate on the oven in the kitchen, that has about 250° C at the highest level.if you throw water upon, the water cannot reach the “herdplatte” because the closer it comes the more it becomes steam and rejects the other water from the plate too.understood now?:-)they call it “leidenfrost-effect” and it was brought to our eyes by the physics-responsible teacher in our class at grund school.

        • What here note would be due to the reports on the cooling either seawater or freshwater. anyone who has watched a bit in the primary school, learned at that time about the so-called “leidenfrost effect”.zur better explanation was thus water poured on a glowing herdplatte, which to the follow was that the water never reaches the herdplatte, but stood down when some to the plate (depending on the plattenhitze) is a dampfpolster, what explosively vaporize the water can be and no cooling stattfindet…. a herdplatte has no 3000°C.man may so approximately imagine, that a wasserkühlung in a received through atomreaktorkern has no effect.

HERE, THE INNERSTE OF REACTOR HAS EXPLODED!
how much then drinnenblieb to down away to initiate his himself, knows the devil.
This explosion was the wind offshore, d.h.richtung sea.
with the explosion of reactor nr. 1 was the whole schose direction land blown as on the video of the explosion can be seen ist.und in contrast to our friend gundersen, I appreciate the itself very, it was a DETONATION and no “deflagration” should remain in his métier .er, the good man.
You can see “uftring” which in this strange IN the detonation, formed about the explosionsherd and clearly on a huge explosion in a tubular vessel, you can see phenomenon well before the pipe hinweist.dieses, when a cannon was fired from the wird.hernach rpv nothing more to sehen…in reactor 2 will managed the crew be in time to open any notventile, so that no explosion took place when the reaktorinhalt went through, but the resulting radioactivity along with steam in the free konnte.dadurch to escape this reactor is also the largest sorgenkind.der entire content is still inside and is dealing with more than 3000 ° C its away after unten.fortsetzung follows below.

There is a strange trail of smoke/steam above what you are calling a flood light. It may be a work light or a flood light to hide something. There is obviously some kind of event happning, judging by release. I think it isnt visable on jnn cam because it is in the area of or near common spent fule pool and jnn cam is not showing that part of the plant.

I do not often post, as long-time members of Enenews know, but I have just come across this (at Rense): http://www.rense.com/general95/death.htm

I would like to be posting good news, but that is impossible and early members of Enenews might recall me expressing the view that Fukushima is a GEE … global extinction event.

I am no expert, but I knew enough – from nearly fifty years ago – to understand what experts like Arnie, Chris Busby and Helen Caldicot have been joining detailed dots for.

Many months ago I drew attention to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upg2eqNbF3w “On the Beach”.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfP1FCJTlo0&feature=related

OK originally a fiction novel by Nevil Shute, BUT SO presient.

Maybe there will not be an atomic WW3 – though it seems increasingly likely, Syria/Iran.

Maybe the S Hemisphere – including Australia, where I live, is largely immune from air-borne nuclides, BUT we are not immune from ocean currents.

“On the Beach” indeed! The only habitable regions of Australia are around the coast-line … about 90% of Australia is actual or virtual desert. We have the lowest average rainfall of any other continent, except for Antarctica (which is too cold for rain to fall).

Anyone who thinks that Australia might be a good country to migrate to is deluded; not least because Australian governments ALWAYS support the Washington Empire, e.g. the current government has just agreed to a permanent US military base here and that MUST include agreement to having nuclear weapons deployed here.

Sorry for a somewhat muddled post, but the bottom line is that, one way or another, we are all in for the GEE, whether by nuclear war, air-borne poisons, or ocean currents distributing toxic substances everywhere on this planet.

Are you friggin’ kidding me?!? From day one there has been no “plan”! None that worked anyway, or we wouldn’t be in the effed-up situation we’re in right now, now would we?? They’ve been making it up as they go along! How dare they tell us there was no problem with the “plan”! Geeez!

STAY OUT OF THE RAIN, get a GEIGER counter and you will have Proof. 10-30X background on BC coast rain * isotopes unknown as radioactivity has half life of about 45 min. But Very strong. It is all UNBELIEVABLE. It will effect the global food supply, It will weaken our immune systems, it will drive people crazy. Sadly something bigger will likely follow to take our minds off of this.

gotta wonder what kind of plan they had/have by building nuclear power plants on active faults, within the ring of fire, within a Tsunami zone with ocean break walls lower than recorded heights of Tsunamis which ravaged the coast and killed many in antiquity so the folks left stone markers along the coast to warn all of the future of what went down. Too easy to think these folks are stupid, reckless, careless, greedy, psychopath, egoists dancing for dime and dollar. Stack the odds against yourself and sooner or later you will lose. They had to have known this from the start. And if so, was this the plan?

AGain, I wonder, where are these folks runnin things’ families living? What are they eating? What are they drinking? You can bet they are no where near Fukushima environs. The lies and dis-information are for us, jon q public, to swallow, but the folks who have the real data forecasting the writing on the wall, what two step are they doing to try to dodge this catastrophe which seems inescapable?

@BC this set of explosions will be able to be seen from space. It’s going to change history so there will be nothing more important for quite awhile.

Yes America is about to face and economic crash and yes we’re about to start wars with Persia and Pakistan but have no doubts about it:

All governments now know what is happening and are working furiously to figure out what to do.

All of the governments are now beginning to freak out. They understand that their lies have done irreparable damage that they are incapable of hiding.

Things are about to get very interesting.

  • Lets tell those melted, burning, out of control nuclear fires to just ‘follow the plan’, outlined by hundreds if not thousands of nuclear experts… all working for the nuclear industry.

They are leaving a legacy of death, disease, genetic deformities, and thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years more of the same to come… unless someone can discover how to stop an out of control nuclear fire in multiple reactors?

The nuclear and mass media ‘experts’ say the temperatures are going down to normal and that cold shutdown will be achieved in a few weeks in all reactors… no more radiation releases, no more melt throughs, no China Syndrome. Is this denial, wishful thinking, coverup or actual reality?

I guess no one can say for sure because no neutral third party has gone to the bottoms of all of these reactors and taken pictures of them.. Make us believe…

Take robot down there and snap a picture of all reactor bottoms and show the world.. no holes, no meltthroughs, no looming life extinction event for planet Earth.

They sent a man in rubber boots down there a couple of days ago (boots melted on torus). Wouldn’t they have sent a camera with him? Perhaps they did? Perhaps the photos weren’t considered fit for public viewing? Who knows? Maybe the whole story about the man going down there was just a false flag? Up until recently Tepco have claimed that they couldn’t even send robots down there due to the intense heat and radiation.

Sending in a neutral third party to document could give us many answers. But then again who can we agree to trust in such a matter, and would they do it?

Open access to all their cameras and gauges 24/7 would probably be the best information source we could wish for, but that isn’t likely to happen I’m afraid.

Cold shut down as actual reality?? Not a freakin prayer! Tepco has already admitted months ago that we got 3 Meltdowns and Bleedouts- The corium has left the building folks! Simple logic is no longer used by anyone anymore but I will make it really easy- U CANT HAVE COLD SHUTDOWN if the rods that must be removed to reach cold shut down–are no longer there to remove!!!! As for corium cleanup last I heard tepco said we will take care of that when future technology exists to do so– IE dont hold ur breath just breath it all in nice an deep

      Report comment

  • Bobby1

I think the reasons the coriums are heating up are:

    1. When the fuel melted down, it melted the control rods along with it. The goop that used to be control rods has been protecting the nuclear reaction from going out of control.

    2. The cyclic nuclear re-criticalities have had neutrons bombarding the control rod goop. So the coriums are emitting europium, radioactive silver and radioactive cadmium. We are seeing these isotopes show up far away from the plant.

    3. Now there is less control rod goop to protect against runaway nuclear reactions.

    Report comment

  • If enough governments in other countries were to give TEPCO the challenge above; GIVE US LIVE VIDEO PICTURES OF BOTTOMS OF ALL FUKUSHIMA REACTORS, and they refused, then that would be proof positive of melt throughs and out of control radioactive fires.

As it is, they have cameras outside.. How about some LIVE cameras INSIDE AND UNDERNEATH ALL OF THE REACTORS?

PROVE THAT YOU ARE GETTING CLOSE TO COLD SHUT DOWN…

Or, just keep lying and covering up, and killing millions of people, starting with your own country men, children, babies and elderly.

Worse than that, keep lying and covering up and preventing any possible solution for the melt throughs. This will stop any solution from being discussed or explored internationally.

Hand on to the arrogance, hubris, greed, fear and denial. As long as you do, YOU (The nuclear industry and associated government agencies/watchdogs) will DOOM THE WHOLE PLANET AND ALL LIFE ON IT to a life extinction event, as certain as night follows day.

    Report comment

  • Oh and one final thought.. It would also be nice if we could get some live radiation measurements of what is coming out of the tall chimney stacks on the property.. via DIRECT LIVE radiation FEED.

What kinds of poisons is this facility feeding the worlds children? I would love some international body to care enough to do something like this, but I am not holding my breath. Odds are, it will never happen at ANY nuclear facility..

Out of sight, out of mind, no one cares how many suffer and die.
