Thanks Whoopie. From that Huff article:

"Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura said the government can order utilities to restart reactors regardless of local opposition, because obtaining residents' consent is not legally required."

SP: Sounds just like the steamroller attitude the NRC uses to relicense old dangerous American reactors.

The Russians republics revolted after Chernobyl and tore asunder tthe USSR. Probably impossible for the Japanese to muster a similar revolt because of the cultural history.

But if a Fukushima event occurs in an American nuclear megaplex you can bet Maggies farm there will be a revolt and the feds will shutter every nuclear power plant in the country. And it may not even take a major accident for my prediction to come true. If Fukushima worsens and Unit 4 falls and the plant is abandoned… then the fallout in America will be as bad as if one of our own plants blew up.

Professor Murakami is describing radiation-induced illnesses among Japanese innocent children that seems distant issues to Joe Sixpack. But when his kids begin to have nosebleeds…look out! As philipupnorth wrote here on March 16, 2012:

Jeff: Joe six pack will be quite angry enough when his own children begin to sicken and die. We in America are breathing in and ingesting about 5 hot particles today and every day from Fuku…"

Hospice! When the medical staff can't think of anything more to do, they send the terminal patient home to die at home, or just tell them to stay there. The difference may be no home nurse visits and no administering of pain kilers.

Quite right you are about Joe Six Pack.
What has me on edge is when JSP wakes up enough to decide to take any sort of action.

What nags at me is the amount of arms purchased across the US in recent times, coupled with the latest DHS contract for (up to) 450 million rounds of .40 cal ammo.

" When people lose everything and have nothing left to lose they lose it "___Gerald Celente

So when JSP realizes that it is sort of "game over", how will he behave?
Will he care about how he behaves?
How will a million JSPs behave when the reality of Fuku sets in?

I lose sleep on the latter scenario(s)

The professor of the University of Tokyo Mr. Toshisô Kosako, resigned on April 29 in charge of special adviser to Prime Minister of Japan in the protection against radioactivity. In a press conference, Prof. Kosako said crying, "It is a serious mistake to apply the dose limit for young children and students of the parent class, it is urgent to reverse this decision."
Denounced for his resignation that many of their "suggestions have not been implemented … should be applied many measures, which are legally justified and other measures in accordance with international common sense and humanism.
Those responsible have increased the dose that can receive Japanese children are criminals. The rules proposed by the Japanese authorities who are supposed to look after the health of the population are now doubly unacceptable. Increase the risk of pre-exposure doses considered "eligible" which in turn had no scientific basis. It is inevitable that all the involved in the fraud of "permissible doses" to be tried for this crime sooner or later. And the best thing for everyone is to be soon.

this is what japanese MSM doesnt want to say!
    food contamination….

"….ACRO continues to face a large demand for urine testing from Japan at the request of local NGOs or individuals and to provide free analysis. This time, the urines come from prefectures that further from the Fukushima NPP.

Results show that urines are still contaminated almost one year after 3/11 and are contaminated in places located as far as Oshu (Iwate Pref.) at about 220 km from the NPP. In Miyagi Pref. that is closer, urines are also contaminated. It is particularly the case in Marumori.

Sample n°11 comes from the same girl from Ichinoseki as the last time. We notice a significant decrease of the contamination. Parents were eating vegetables from the Grandparents’ garden without expecting that they could be contaminated. The urine test provided by ACRO allowed them to change their food habits and protect themselves."

The Academy of Sciences New York, meanwhile, published in the Annals (vol. 1181, December 2009) a comprehensive, independent of any pressure, called Chernobyl. Consequences of the disaster for people and the environment, which summarizes nearly 5,000 research articles in the field. The authors estimate that there were 985 000 deaths due to Chernobyl in the world between 1986 and 2001.
Mortality is particularly high among children living in areas still contaminated and continue to absorb, with food, "low dose" of cesium 137.
Dr. Bandajevsky was first to implicate this radioactive contaminant cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc..

The UN(NWO) is turning their back on Japanese rad victims. Just like the world ignored the Jews when they wanted to get out of Germany, just before the SHTF. Whole ocean liners full of Jews, turned back from every global port, forced to go back.

Eventually, all the cameras (official) will be turned off, and no one will be able to watch the wasting of the Japanese. They'll turn off the Net, too, so YouTube vids don't get out.

Emanating from the Fukushima reactor, radioactive isotopes, including iodine (I-131), strontium (Sr-90) and cesium (Cs-134 and C-137) are absorbed in food and water. The iodine concentrates in the thyroid, Sr-90 in the bones and teeth and Cs-134 and Cs-137 in soft tissues, including the heart.
The unborn and infants are more vulnerable because rapidly dividing cells and the dose is proportionately greater than that received by an adult.
The information Chernobyl exploded 25 years ago, clearly show the increased number of sick babies and weaknesses and a greater number of deaths of unborn children (NDT refers to those who were in utero when exposed) and newly infants, especially shortly after the crisis. This occurred in Europe and the former Soviet Union. Similar findings were also observed in wild animals in areas with higher levels of radioactive fallout.
(Chernobyl – "Aftermath of the disaster for people and the environment," V. Yablokov Alexeiy, Vasily Nesterenko, B., and Alexey V. Nesterenko Consulting Editor: Janette D. Sherman-Nevinger New York Academy of Sciences, 2009 ) (3)

The levels of the radioisotopes were measured in children who had died in the Minsk area, which had suffered the consequences of Chernobyl.
The cardiac findings were the same as those observed in laboratory animals that had been given Cs-137.

Time Is Short,….while I totally agree,…isn't Japan a Sovereign nation? We can not really tell them what to do,…YET. They will have to be removed first. We can not do that without the UN, or???

    • AGreenRoad AGreenRoad

No medical doctor anywhere in the world is trained in low level radiation health effects.

According to one doctor interviewed, medical professionals get trained in the use of Xrays, (no harm), and radiation for cancer, (no harm).

      That is it. Done.

They would not know low level radiation poisoning symptoms if they were hit up side the head with them, much less know how to measure the internal radiation doses.

Now add pressure from the nuke industry to not measure internal radiation anywhere, anytime, and that more or less covers it all.

Apparently there is no H oath here in Oz either.

So Japan is not unique in that.

There rest of the world is not the USA, thank bloody goodness 🙂

  • "…short temperedness," Seems strange that this was specifically mentioned.

Is it possible that the 'low dose – long term' radiation exposure affects the glandular/hormonal system (especially children) and therefore can cause apparent personality changes? Just a thought.

    • StillJill StillJill

Very good observation ChasAha! I have seen the PROFOUND change in my grown sons ENTIRE persona!

    • Bobby1

Yablokov found neurological diseases, emotional disorders and learning disorders were highly increased in Belarus and Ukraine after Chernobyl.

  • Choto

Why should we care if there may be a link between Fukushima and death of children?
Because we have to measure actual levels of the isotopes in the environment and in the bodies of people exposed to determine if the consequences are killing the most vulnerable.
Research is not technically difficult, political and economic barriers may be higher.
Bandshevsky and others did and confirmed the connection. Information is available in the book of Chernobyl (Yablokov)
The biological results of Chernobyl can not be ignored: the incorporation of isotopes determine the future of all life on earth, animals, fish, birds, plants and humans.
It is essential to know this information, if we are to avoid further catastrophic damage.

of course my question is for the ongoing accumulating internal dose loading via contaminated products that should be labeled for consumer decisions during this catastrophe.

Toxicity to the genetic material of low doses of radioactivity is increasingly demonstrated by the observed facts.
We live increasingly in a soup electromagnetic radiation, it not only affects us but will affect all generations yet unborn.
Fukushima contamination will spread across the globe, gradually
and we all have children, grandchildren, ….
We must fight for them, those little love, these children not their fault that so many assholes in this world.
