The International Atomic Energy Agency on 7 September 2012 launched a database of radiation measurements collected in Japan following last year’s accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo ElectricPower Company (TEPCO). The Fukushima Monitoring Database – available to all IAEA member states and the public – provides radiation measurements collected both near and far from the power plant since the Fukushima Daiichi accident began on 11 March 2011.

At this rate what is the actual count of infant mortality in India due to Fukushima? One must really take a baby death head count all India since March 11,2011. At the rate of 23 to 28.6 million excess infant mortalities in India from 1945 to 1997 compared to the prenuclear era 1911 to 1944 because of 477 PBq of Sr90 released, I estimate 84 million infant mortalities in India due to Fukushima because of the estimated 1200 PBq Sr90 released by Fuku by the three nuke explosions there. The risk recommendations of ICRP would have it as a big zero, the witches at IAEA and WHO applauding.

NRC is advertising itself as a great employer, maybe stop by and drop a semi-civil comment as I did below.

How about taking some enforcement actions against these plants that lie to NRC about serious things, like SONGS did? That would show a commitment to integrity and respect for the residents of the USA.
And reduce the plant residence time….any NRC inspector can only stay 3 years, not 7 as is currently allowed, 7 allows way to cozy a relationship to develop especially as most plants are located in small communities and the well paid NRC person, and their actions, which in a regulatory environment could and should when necessary,negatively affect thousands in the community.
This is an opportunity set up perfectly for failure. 3 years max. The biggest threat to America is the financial monopolies and the nuclear power plants. Treat your NRC position like a military position and be ready to move whenever necessary.

Great suggestions… and there are many more like it, if they truly wanted to be a 'watchdog' and protector of communities.
But then again, how do you guard and protect communities after you have opened Pandora's Box and let all of the horrors out, while keeping that fact a secret?

THE MEDIA Whether by laziness or intention, mainstream media have a habit of consistently not covering the most worrying aspects of nuclear issues.
Ethics of nuclear power
An interesting example of this has been the recent scandal in Britain, over the taking of body parts from dead nuclear workers, without the permission of their families. The mainstream media focused on the privacy aspects of this, and on how the government apologised to the families. OK – but not mention of the purpose of this research, and its lack on findings. The research was part of the program to discredit claims of harm done from nuclear radiation. The results of the body parts research were covered up, ad the body tissues destroyed – destroying any evidence.

after thursday morning when i saw perfect squares being created using contrails and later planes spraying under the clouds formed and another plane spraying thousands of feet above the cloud cover too, i came to the conclusion that they are trying to stop it raining even though we have had a drought over the last year in the UK.
and the headline tends to explain why they would want to do manage the rain..

Deforestation is probably the largest contributor to Global Warming. But it is not mentioned at all. News media is corporate controlled. Drudge is one of the few half-decent sites. Alex Jones and cohorts are some others.

I think the Walsh-Immelt radiation belt circling the globe has surpassed deforestation as the leading contributor of worldwide drought. We didn't have this massive loss of food products until after 3/11. We may have gotten there eventually, but there is no precedent in recorded history for such a sudden onset of the drought now killing our food crops.
And Drudge refuses to mention anything about Bayou Corne. Nothing, as it becomes the largest non-nuclear industrial accident in US history.
It isn't always about what lies get published. It's also about what doesn't get published at all.

We have had very unsettled (almost strange) weather today in Melbourne, Australia. There has also been Strong radar interference picked up on the Australian BOM network at 05:10 UTC on September 27, 2012 as well as very high scintillation and ionospheric readings during the last 18 hours. My counter had a very high background reading in the morning (0.30 uSv/hr) almost double the average here.
I tested a rain sample and it was the highest (1.74 uSv/hr) I have had in months? Did I miss something or is it just a random act of God? Strange weather from where I'm standing any ways! Anyone else have any answers?

I think that the huge amount of radionuclides from Fukushima are ALSO having a major impact on the Weather we are now having… anytime you put charged particles into the upper atmosphere, it is bound to have some unusual effects on our Weather! I think of it as Radioactive Cloud Seeding (RCS) by Japan and it is having a global impact on all of US!
