Title: Report from the front line of Fukushima
Author: Kingo999
Date: Feb 3, 2012
[...]
Children in Fukushima, are right next to high-leveled contamination called hot-spots in everyday life. This is the report about the absurd reality for children.
[...]
We went to streets to schools at Watari area with Takeru Arakida assistant professor who teaches governmental policy at Fukushima University.
(a street that children use to go to WATARI elementary school)
[...]
Then we found surprising numbers!
What we know for sure is this number is extremely high.
(The Geiger counter said over 100 microsieverts per hour)
[...]
As you can see, this is the place where anyone can pass by. Kids would drop a ball in this, too…
[...]
In Fukushima City, they haven’t even started children’s health check for internal exposure to radiation. It is supposedly starting after February 2012.
Seeing this reality that children are living in high contaminated area, are we really making effort to protect their future?

It is Accumulative and will continue to grow higher in contamination !
Grand parents, Sell all you have and send your children and the grand children far away… far away !

What vile men would visit such upon the innocent. They’ll claim there’s nothing that can be done…except when it comes to – their – children’s safety!
Report Comment
There is no future for them…the families should leave and demand shelter in the southern part of the country. They should take the belongings they can carry and leave by car, rail, foot….leave. There is no future and so no reason to stay.

Isn’t it one year dose in just 10 hours? (before rising limit from 1 to 20 mSv)
Report Comment
Hi someone,
yes, I think your’re correct.
104 microSv * 24 (hrs) =
2,5 milliSv / day
Report Comment
Yes, you are right. It is ten times the limit for evacuation or 1.000 times normal.

This just shows how sick the modern society is. In any other point of history, the most important task was to protect the children from a disaster like this, but nowadays the only things worth of protecting are the economy and social order. Safety limits are constantly raised to make sure that companies can still sell their products even though they’re full of radiation and the general public is being lied to since day 1 to make sure that no uncontrolled mass migrations are starting from the affected areas. Government and MSM know exactly how dangerous the unstable nuclear plants and the effects of the leaking radiation on humans are, but they will do anything to protect the current system. Thats also why they tried to cut the right of free assembly while justificating, that it would be “dangerous” to assemble in huge crowds when there is an epidemic.
Report Comment
Our present models of “the economy and social order” are significantly contributing to maintenance of things as they are.
To steal from your post, if the highest priority of a society was to “protect the children”, I do believe the models would be vastly different.
That’s the calmest way I can say it without erupting into a screaming rant.

Children need to wear personal dosimeter badges-sew them into their clothes if necessary to keep officials from removing them. When the 20 mSv is reached–the sensor alerts of exposure. I just don’t know what the government plan is IF a child (or adult) reaches the max dosage allowed..so far as is seen..lots of talk, and then nothing.
EPCO should have a provision to relocate the people who reach the yearly max with in the 365 day period. But because all that is done is a spot check here and there..NO ONE knows how much radiation they have received individually. Its individual radiation exposure which should be tracked.not local spots on ad hoc basis. So wear a dosimeter badge..they are available ..locally in Japan..
I think the reason they are not used or recommended..no one wants to know or be responsible for relocating citizens who are over the government limit for radiation. One other comment..THE RADIATION IS CUMMULATIVE..so even if you get under 20 mSv a year..you have a lifetime max..WHAT THEN? Go to where there is NO radiation fallout? In a year it will be global.
Report Comment
Yes, and please don`t forget the internal radiation. A dosimeter is useless for that! The high values show that these areas are not suitable for people to live there – with or without dosimeters. They breathe in the dust and they eat the radiation, too. There is only one answer to that threat: Run!! But it is too late for that, I fear.

as a point of perspective the exclusion zone at Chernobyl was 350 milliSv per lifetime. this equates to 0.5microSv per hour, assuming a 78year lifespan. this exposure is 200 times that amount.
this site shows a google mapping of the official MEXT readings. 0.5 micoSV/hr is dark blue. the FUKU exclusion zones (there are 3 by chernobyl standards) should be as easy as connecting the dots…

you need to let the scripts run or you don’t get all the info. its abit slow — too much data for the platform (over 102,000 datapoints).
the map also shows the evacuation perimeter and how poor it covers the affected areas. it is prima facie evidence of gross negligence.

Read-It-&-Freak-Out
One of you science types please read this and tell me it’s not as bad as I think it is… I found this link on rense.com
http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/02/08/350-times-maximum-annual-radiation-dose-permissible/
(San Francisco) A recent headline on the six crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Reactors read: “40 microSv/h detected from radioactive gravel site used for schools, homes — Measured one meter above source,” Jan 21, 2012.
I asked Physicist Dr. Paolo Scampa, PhD. of the AIPRI Blog fame, what this translates to for everyday people, their kids and families. The Fukushima nuclear tragedy is still going on after 335 days as of Wed, Feb 08, 2012 affecting the entire world.
US Imperial Unit Measurements
Dr. Scampa stated:
Public Warnings?
“An absorbed dose of 40 microSievert/hour at one Meter or about 39 inches above the ground, means a radioactive deposit creating an average of 12,330,000.00 Cesium 137 nuclear explosions per second (Becquerels) for every 39 inches square over much of the Northern Hemisphere.
Further, the radiation is spreading rapidly through the air. The Earth’s surface is covered with many deadly radioactive isotopes from the six crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Reactors.”
“This is 22 times more Radiation than the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) decreed for the Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor Disaster Exclusion Zone when they said everyone had to leave.
In Chernobyl the radioactivity level was 555,000.00 radioactive molecular nuclear explosions per second per 39 square inches.”
By contrast, delusional Japanese “public officials” declared deadly radioactive areas a simple Picnic and Recreation Grounds, thus sacrificing in place an unsuspecting public.

@Berndt Lauert
I have to disagree with your rosy idealization of the past. Look a bit more closely at history and you see that, au contraire, this is ‘business as usual’ for the human race, certainly for the elites in power.
There are too many examples to catalog here, but every unnecessary war is an example of horrible things happening to children.
Look at the recent and current famines in Africa.
Look at the way the children of minority races have always been treated – black slave; the American Indians; poor whites and immigrants. People fled Europe to come to the New World to escape incredibly harsh and oppressive conditions there… no need to catalogue. How about the potato famine in Ireland? England and the rest of the world let much of the Irish population starve, including of course children, rather than send life-saving food.
I certainly am not condoning what is happening in Fuk. or how it’s being handled. Just suggesting that it is not some new awful low as much as the continuation of a trend, of a persistent reality in human affair – ‘the rule’ rather than ‘the exception.’

Several of us here at enenews have said this before – this is TOO BIG and there is nothing that can be done. There is not enough money in the world to fix this. The whole world is being polluted. There is no safe place to run to, to get the Japanese children to.
The logistics are IMPOSSIBLE not just for Japan but for THE ENTIRE WORLD.
All the elites, not just of Japan, but of the world, can do is LIE – and make plans for what they (personally) will do if the bovine public ever finally figure it out and get really really mad and decide that some heads must role.
But given the degree of dumbed-downness and the degree of information control, and the degree of denial, I doubt that the public will rouse from their collective slumber.
And if, by some remotely possible throw of the dice of chance, they do ‘wake up and smell the coffee’ it(already) will be ‘too little, too late.’

Mornin bleep…….Yep. They’ve got the FEMA camps ready. Returning troops from Iraq to train for internal “insurrection”. Their finger is on the pulse….checking your emails, blogs, ISP’s. Patriot Act = overreach big time. They are checking out people NOW that are buying quantities of long term storage survival food…..these folks are considered dangerous NOW. and on and on and on.
But whatever we do, PLEASE, lets not go quietly into this good night.

Aloha from nuked Hawaii, PoorDaddy -
BTW did you get the post I sent about the strange looking white shark (small kine) with ONE big eye right in middle of its forehead – just like you, PoorDaddy. Perhaps it will become the vogue…
Yes, if you go to infowars.com today, there is an article about a FEMA-workers training facility in Missouri, I believe is the state.
Yes, Big Brother is watching the likes of you and me. And I am a real cowardly lion. But just can’t throw in the towel and join the sheeple sitcom/football-watching crowd. I’ve seen it developing and growing, this whole big crisis and thrust for NWO, for the past 40 years.
Guess what – most of my family think I am just – out there. That has been their story and they are sticking to it. I keep wondering if the fog has lifted and the light dawned – yet- but seems not or they don’t want to eat humble pie and admit it.
As for buying and storing food, one problem is that under NATIONAL EMERGENCY (which we are under, permanently) govt. can do anything it wants including confiscating your food stores. And as you said, they know who you are and where you are.
I’m not telling anyone what to do, cuz if I knew what to do I’d be doing it.
Actually gettin’ the hell outa Dodge might be wisest bet, to someplace in South America. For those who can afford to and feel emotionally up to expatriating. This would buy time in terms of the radiation poisoning but who knows how much time.
I agree, though, that we simply have to try to stand up against these forces of evil.

Hi.
This is my fist post. but i’ve been reading you about a year ago.
Sorry for my english but I’m catalan.
I think it’s necessary to educate fuku people to protect themselfs.
It’s necessary the hole world to see what japanese people have to do every single day, to protect their children from radiation.
Individualy effort is needed to show it to the humanity. 1 image is more important than 1000 words.
thanks

Hi Ganxet!
Your english is good!
Yes! Pictures speak in all languages!
Do people where you live know about Fukushima?

Ganxet,
Your English is fine, Protect the Children !
I am just short of jumping up and down and screaming this for a year now ! I am on a list, I have a room and safety for a parent or two and a Child, please come and start a safer life !
Such beautiful people too trusting to gov. and corp. !
See the children humble and prayer !

Welcome Ganxet,
Yes, I agree that the people in Fukushima need our help, and the children especially.
Anybody got any ideas?
Personally, I am stumped and ‘preparing to meet my Maker’ – or His/Her appointed delegate… or maybe even Nemesis… (worst case scenario, that would be)…

Thanks,
Crissis is people’s first corcern . And media don’t help at all.
they cover up all this information. I live in a nuclaer region with 3 1000mw BWR 30km (20miles) from home.
People have no idea how to protect their child, and we have not evacuation protocol.
I’ve worked in one of this reactors, inside PCV, 16 years ago. 2 of this 3 reactors, add’s more than 50% of all nuclears trouble known.
We have to help japanese people first of all kids.
