Title: Tropical storm moves across Japan
Source: NHK
Date: Sept. 16, 2013

[…] The weather officials had issued special warnings for Shiga, Kyoto and Fukui prefectures for the first time since they adopted the warning system in August. The warnings for Kyoto and Fukui have been downgraded to heavy rain warnings.

The warning is issued when they consider a significant likelihood of a natural disaster of a magnitude observed only once every few decades.

The downpours have raised the risk of mudslides from northeastern to western Japan. Some areas are also at high risk of flooding.

Nearly 500,000 households have been ordered or instructed to evacuate in 20 prefectures. […]

Waves are likely to remain almost 10 meters high in waters off the Pacific coast from eastern to western Japan. […]

    Unbelievable. This whole thing is playing like a movie. I think the day we ene-newsers have been dreading is arrived. If the spent fuel pool is as wobbly as we believe it to be, I don't see how it's going to survive a direct hit by this typhoon. As someone on another thread said, pass the popcorn and enjoy the show.

    Since I do not have the resources to head south of the equator, or even west of the Rockies, (I'm on the west coast- 6 miles inland from the coast), I am expecting to enact my own version of "On the Beach" should the storage pool topple and combust. If it does, I'm having a sushi/sashimi feast.

    Stupid me. I spent the day today planting trees in my yard.

    I am truly sorry for the young. What a world they will inherit. Hug your loved ones a lot in the next few days.

    To all the nuke bastards that have ever promoted,supported, designed, built, covered up for nuclear- "God damn you all in hell"! (Thanks Charleton!)

      Kansas – Dust In The Wind Lyrics | MetroLyrics

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      I open my eyes
      Only for the truth and the truth moment's gone
      All my Nuclear fears
Pass before my eyes with curiosity.
      Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind.
      Same old scientific bullshit song
Just a drop of Plutonium or Cesium water in an endless sea
      All they do
      Pollutes the ground, though we refuse to see.
      (Aa aa aa)
Dust in the wind
All we are is Radioactive dust in the wind
Oh, ho, ho.
      Now don't hang on
      Nothin' lasts forever but the earth and sky
      As all humanity slips away
And all your science won't another minute extend.
      Dust in the hot twisting wind
We are all now reduced to dust in the wind
We are polluted nano dust in the wind
      Dust in the unforgiving wind
      Everything is Radioactive dust in the wind
Everything now is dust in the deadly winds.
    Thirty foot waves will really test the lagoon beach at Fukushima Daiichi. Good thing TEPCO reinforced that tsunami wall with bags of rocks, eh? 🙂
    I am sure they beefed it up above the 18-foot sea wall that failed to stop the 30-40 foot tsunsmi wave on March 11, 2011? >;->
  • jec jec
    Storm surge can also be an issue..its not just wave height..its the wall of water pushed in front of the storm. Like the damage in NYC from water due to Hurricane Sandy-the metros flooded and homes damaged. Pray Japan and the coast of Fukushima does not have surge…
    • We Not They Finally
      We had read that Japan lost a million people in their population in the last year. But there was no breakdown on whether that was deaths or fewer births or what. Their medical stats seem to be notoriously secretive. Arnie Gundersen said recently that he was contacted by Japanese doctors upset at how they had to relate to patients. Would be really curious if some whistleblowers come out of that.
    If typhoon topples the fuel pool all hell would break loose and there'd be no way to hide it.
    • We Not They Finally
      Well, no one tells us what is happening with SPF4 ANYWAY. The spike in radiation has been exponential since about two months when there was "a strong 6" earthquake.
      What actually WILL it take before they say "run for your lives"? If/when we find that out, it will already be too late. So sad.
    It seems too bad to be true that this typhoon has aligned itself up perfectly to go straight up the island of Japan. It seems almost deliberate. Did HAARP have anything to do with this?
    • enoughalready45 enoughalready45
      No man made weather modification necessary.
      This was predictable. Japan gets typhoons and earthquakes and tsunamis. When you build nuclear plants in such an area it is just a matter of time before the inevitable occurs.
  • irhologram
    Netc.com is streaming hysterical headlines. "Unprecedented" means never happened before. HAARP data for Japan on HAARPstatus.com is either not available or it isn't HAARP, so "unknown." Many of the headlines are from ene. Since the damaged rods stored are exposed,and the cranes may fall on them…And, because they relate the water level has already breached containment, and since netc.com is a government website, I'd say this is the "it" factor, with or without the "sh" in front of the word…has hit the fan. Time for all the remedies you know. Iodine pills, high doses of Curcuman, and Carnivora, lymph flushes, and prayer.
  • bwoodfield bwoodfield
    I was talking with my 15yr old last night, explaining the effect of this typhoon if the SPF pool collapses. I told him that with the prevailing wind from the storms it will push the radiation down the coast of Japan directly over Tokyo. The death toll from it would be in the millions.
    If you pray to any gods, go find your self a sacrificial lamb and start dialing them up now. Any assistance that those poor bastards can get will help us all in the end.
    Looks like "only" water contamination. Unless a tornado, which frequently happens in the backwash of these storms…dislodges the fuel rods. So…for the most part, our prayers and positive thoughts were answered. Keep them coming! While its not yet time to break out the bubbly, Heart, it could have been much worse. Here's to us all!!
