Fukushima children recuperate at center on Okinawa island
A recuperation center set up on Kumejima island in Okinawa Prefecture is providing support for children affected by the nuclear crisis in Fukushima Prefecture.

It is sad and outrageous that Japanese children are being fed food with radiation in it.

its a powerful documentary and i cant wait for the next installment..
shows you what the main stream media could be doing with their billions of dollars of resources.. this video is done on a budget and is more real and powerful than anything the bbc etc have done.. real stories about real people…

And then the journalist adds:
"Mr. Hirokawa, after looking at your video, I wonder what it was that IAEA announced there were no health damages among the residents."
Mr. Hirokawa answers:
"…according to the local doctors, the mission members didn't enter the heavily-contaminated areas. Besides, they brought their food, sourced from far away, and didn't eat anything local."
Wow – the IAEA research members said it was safe without even visiting the worst areas and while bringing their own food!

And guess what..if BLENDED..it should NOT be here in the USA! "Typical precautionary actions include covering exposed products, moving animals to shelter, corralling livestock and providing protected feed and water." (pg. 20). "The blending of contaminated food with uncontaminated food is not permitted because this is a violation of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDA 1991)." (pg. 22).
So-if anyone has information the blended rice or ?? products from Fukushima are being imported into the USA…..Just Saying..its an FDA RULE! Wonder if Sec. Clinton knew THAT? Start digging gals and guys..and report as a whistleblower if you can..

The data is the most important factor and it's the first casualty, which is a crime that carries forward to future generations. If proper data was kept and acknowledged as valid during and immediately after the Chernobyl event, there would be less debate and more progress today in Japan.

The building renovation costs, the facility operating costs, the travel expenses, and the accommodation expenses for children are all covered by donations from people who sympathize with this project.
Without such supporters, cooperators, and support from the local community of Kume Island, this facility would have been impossible to establish.
Several part time staff members are working in this facility. However, numbers are kept to the necessary minimum. This is because the salary of just one person can cover the expenses for around 50 to 100 children. Mindful of this, we manage this facility with the support of many considerate volunteers…..

Well, if it's KOBE beef I doubt many if ANY children are eating it. KOBE beef if extremely expensive. Thousands of dollars per pound depending upon the cut.

Recuperating? They are being cleaned of all internal radioactive contaminants? I did not know such a process was invented (It was not).
What they are doing is getting temporary refuge from external exposure and reducing their intake of internal contaminants.
