Why is Tepco finding and testing the fish levels? Shouldn't the reporting be coming from the appropriate government foo safety agency and reported independent of the polluter?

One has to seriously wonder if there is "appropriate government" ANYTHING in that country by now. TEPCO seems to run the place.

There is apparently no "appropriate government' ANYTHING over there by now. TEPCO runs the show.

What other elements?
Why don't they mention the 'other' elements?
What affect will a radioactive contaminated fish have on the ecosystem? (like the birds that eat the dead fish)

Piecemeal information is always incomplete — that's probably the whole point. Any responsible government would get the info coordinated. But then people would want to run for their lives. As they should. But mostly they can't. It's just tragic.

No governments are reporting anything, because they answer to a few people that control all the nuclear stuff. It's just the way it is.
