Title: Lethal radiation detected inside Fukushima reactor
Source: NHK
Date: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 11:13 +0900 (JST)
Tokyo Electric Power Company has detected extremely high levels of radiation inside one of the crippled reactors of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. [...]
It says radiation levels increased as the dosimeter was lowered inside the reactor. This suggests the nuclear fuel melted down and collected at the bottom of the vessel.
The utility also learned the water level inside the vessel was only 60 centimeters, compared to the original estimate of about 3 meters.
TEPCO suspects the suppression chamber at the bottom of the vessel may have been destroyed. [...]

Dose anyone thinks it mattered since 3/11 !

Someone dropped a radium bottle in the chamber. Only logical explanation.

Good one. I'd even like to laugh about it.

The white stuff floating in the water is bananas..
Everyone knows that.. Bananas are radioactive. #2 is highly radioactive. So it has to be bananas floating in the water.
Some monkeys got loose and dropped a couple of bananas in the reactor vessel.
THOSE D#(# MONKEYS…
TEPCO is completely innocent.

Nope, you got that wrong – it's too small for bananas. Those are brazil nuts.

I do not feel that I know any more today, than I did on day one, with regards to the real condition of the reactors. Actually, we all know the truth. The reactors, for the most part, were blown to smithereens. Anyone who saw the explosions (R1 and R3), know the suppression chambers and everything else were ripped. And, if this is not the truth, what is?

Its the famous "cold shutdown condition"-the new way to describe a nuclear plant gone wild! The information is coming out, DRIP DRIP DRIP..can hardly wait for the next release of "news" from MrTEPCOman.
Report Comment
Duh. Fuck you Tepgov
Report Comment
Anyway, the drawing above still proves they want people to believe the reactor is still 'ok'. There's still a bottom under the very small amount of corium they dared to draw. Liars! Mass murderers!
Report Comment
Remember, no corium is left.. That all magically disappeared. There are no problems.
All they have to figure out is how to get the bananas out of there.
Maybe send in some monkeys?

Their monkeys are too busy roaming around Fukushima prefecture collecting data on radiation for Tepco and the government, don't you know? After all, they've been busy all this time gathering data so the highly responsible Tepco managers and government officials can accurately report their findings to the people, as is their civic responsibility. And the poor monkeys must be getting tired by now. What say we give them a holiday before we put them back to work inside the plant?

Here is the 49 minute video from endoscope of Containment 2. Keep in mind that the endoscope went into Containment 2, rather than Reactor 2.

Fill this puppy with sand. Entomb the reactor buildings with reinforced concrete. Twin cofferdams 100' deep, filled with concrete around Buildings 1 — 4 for foundation. Hope you catch the Coriums before they are lost in the Pacific. THINK BIG. ENTOMB FUKU!

I just love how the graphics always show the melted fuel as this itty-bitty, teensy-weensy little splotch at the bottom of the RPV.
In reality, it is a raving mass of tons and tons and tons of glowing, steaming, seething radioactive lava, that if you were close enough to it to actually see it, you would 'catch death' from it instantly.

The explosion in #2 WAS the suppression chamber, or taurus…
It didnt blow UP, so it had to blow DOWN..
When it blew pressures went to nil.. IE no containment integrity…
@ Yea, amazing what a small blob of corium they get from a few hundred tons of fuel… And their claim at "cold shutdown" was 30 meters, not 3..
Report Comment
@Edit.. oops, they said 30 ft not meters…

I've said this for months frankly I think alot of it has already burned through the reactor floor.
MONTHS AGO it was about 1 inch away from breaking through into the ground, and the RATE at which it burns through concrete….well it should have breached a couple months ago.

Today TEPCO announced, "Suppression chamber “may have been destroyed” at Reactor No. 2". In other news, TEPCO announced that after exhaustive research they feel confident in stating that hitting ones own head with a hammer real, real, real hard, well, that just might hurt.
