He almost acts like he LIKES the attn GMA is giving him. He seems WAY TO CALM in my opinion. But then again, he is appearing on a news show – can’t PANIC the sheeple.

        Right, Whoopie.

Why does this guy look so happy while telling us such horrible news?

He has a very detached attitude about potential mega-death.

Maybe they will make each of these disasters a reality show, with Kaku a member of the panel of judges.

To be fair, his face looks a bit worried. Some people just don’t display emotion very well. Then again, do we expect the guy to just run around with his hands over his head screaming?

  • Found a video on the jellies vs nukes:

Both reactors at a nuclear power plant in Scotland have been shut down after large numbers of jellyfish clogged its sea water filters.
Plant operator EDF Energy said the reactors at Torness on the Scottish coast were shut down on Tuesday while jellyfish were cleared from the waters around the station.

Anyone know what language that is? I am trying to copy and paste sections from the Guardian and that’s what it comes up with. Put it in Google Translate and it just sits there, not translating. HELP?

Who is this Kaku dude? I just spent 20 min on Wikipedia. Below is some relevant info. He has been outspoken against nuclear weapons and US admin. He is also a profesional broadcaster so my take is that he conforms to the packaging MSM wants its the only way he will actually get on (and collect extra pay). Bet you’d get a different take on it if you talked to him privately.
MSM is the Boss of Kaku who is a career broadcaster, putting his two daughters through college no doubt.

“Kaku joined with others such as Helen Caldicott, Jonathan Schell, Peace Action and was instrumental in building a global anti-nuclear weapons movement that arose in the 1980s, during the administration of U.S. President Ronald Reagan.”

“Kaku was a board member of Peace Action and on the board of radio station WBAI-FM in New York City where he originated his long running program, Explorations, that focused on the issues of science, war, peace and the environment.”

That seems like a fair summary of the situation. Kaku is very useful in terms of his known name and the fact that he does help get the message of nuclear danger out to a very wide audience at least in SOME fashion, even if it is a diluted message.
