Retired nuclear engineer worried by lack of news from Japan, The Pratt Tribune, April 19, 2011:

The recent silence from Japan about conditions at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility that was damaged in the March 11 earthquake and tsunami has a local man wondering just how severely the facility has been damaged.
The one thing he does know is that whatever is going on inside the reactors is very serious.
“It’s been kind of quiet out of Japan. This is not good,” said Eddie Petrowsky, nuclear engineer, area farmer and former employee of the Morris, Ill., Dresden No. 2 Nuclear reactor. “They’ve got some major problems.”
Petrowsky worked for two and half years as the lead nuclear engineer at the Morris facility, which is of the same type as the Fukushima facility, so he is familiar with its construction and operation. …

Seriously guys cmon, I get the paranoid look at these types of statements but lets be real about it, a nuclear reactor CAN NOT explode like a nuclear bomb because a bomb needs to reach critical mass in order to unleash the destruction its so well known for, which can not happen in a reactor even if it goes into meltdown

Many detonation points at once under solid mass, most I have seen shaped like a soccer ball with detonator on all flat points simultaneously firring for full utter bang effect starting reaction !
But enough heat a free flowing energy it is possible to have explosions, but I can’t see one as big as a controlled event, but these could transpire for years if not decades !

“Critical mass” isnt exclusive to nuclear bombs, it just refers to the smallest amount of fissile material needed for a sustained nuclear chain reaction. This happens in reactors, too. Your use of terms is just as sloppy as those you’re criticizing.

There have been the earlier reports of “Transient Criticalities”
releasing intense “BLUE FLASH” Neutron Beams or
some such Hindu Mumbo-Jumbo…
Some of these Radioactive Releases, fancy isotopes, are said to
only present themselves in Fission reactions.

Not ‘Hindu mumbo-jumbo’ Jack. the ‘blue flashes’ are emissions of Cherenkov radiation caused by particles moving faster than light in that medium. The blue flashes indicate that the fission reaction is on the brink of resuming, despite these reactors being shut down at the time of the earthquake.
When one of these criticality events occurs there is a strong emission of neutrons that will kill anyone close-by. This is why it’s Russian roulette for anyone to be anywhere near the reactors right now, and why they can’t be approached with a view to taming them. Criticality in one reactor means abandonment of the other reactors in a ‘nuclear park’…which is what is happening.
Nine months max to get this situation under control? Dreams. The weeks have gone by and the situation has only deteriorated. This is what the believers blandly asserted would never happen, and what the skeptics prayed never would. Woe to the World.

Number 4 is in bad shape.
Numers 5 and 6 at the very least, can not be worked, do to high radiation levels.
Chernobyl was one reactor.

5 and 6 are in cold shutdown and weren’t operating when the earthquake hit. Get your facts straight.

Water is useless now. Sounds good, but does nothing, but make lots of radioactive steam to carry stuff into the winds blowing mainly to the U S A for about 1,000 years.

And going into an deep underground military bunker (DUMB) to get away from the radiation will only help until the first big earthquake knocks out your oxygen supply, water supply and the lift that goes up to the surface where food will all be radioactive anyway. Should have thought of that before they used the HAARP.

Ah yes. The perfect aliby. Did I spell that right? So anyway, after about 6 months of radiation poisoning starting in March 2011, the immune system of most should be sufficiently compromised so that this fall when the superbugs are turned loose on the population, it will give the government the perfect excuse to force everyone to be vaccinated with their death shot. That way Rockefellers superbug can work efficiently enough to help depopulate the planet right on schedule with the U.N. plan. Of course many who are dying with radiation sickness will be declared victims of some hideous Asian flu bug by the media, the CDC and other emergency government agencies.
