I can already guess what questions Japan has for Chernobyl:
1. How many body bags do we need?
2. What’s the most efficient way to dig mass graves?
3. Should we line the bags and graves with lead?
4. How do we hide data and images from international reporters?
5. How many freak shows can we export for the world’s entertainment industry?
6. How to recruit scientists who want to conduct their mad experiments on the affected?
7. How do we politely tell the world we contaminated the entire planet?

7. And make them happy about it.

Or,
1. What’s the minimum financial compensation people seem willing to accept?
2. What’s the going rate for bought-and-paid-for Epidemiologists?
3. What nations call-centers are best used for deflecting citizens complaints?
4. Please translate to Japanese the best euphemisms for birth deformities.
5. Please provide us with your most
favorably distorted W.H.O. statistics so
we can make appropriate comparisons.

A Bit of History:
The US National Academy of Sciences report concluded in 2007 that no dose of radiation is safe. The radiation exposures are cumulative in effect in causing cancer, x-rays and CAT scans included.
The WHO stated in 1956 that the genetic heritage is the most precious property for human beings.
The IAEA fixed all that on May 28, 1959 when they took charge of the UN’s WHO statements.
NOTHING HAS CHANGED SINCE.

Would that include TSA airport scanners as well?

Good question.

Apparently it does:
“…But some researchers who study radiation’s health effects beg to differ. Last April, four imaging experts from the University of California, San Francisco sent a letter of concern to President Obama’s science and technology advisor, John Holdren, questioning, “the extent to which the safety of this scanning device has been adequately demonstrated,” they wrote. They added that it might deliver a concentrated dose of radiation to the skin—necessary to penetrate clothes—that could be “dangerously high,” possibly increasing the risk of skin cancer and other cancers in susceptible individuals. They called for an independent panel of experts to review all the risk data including whether the scanners pose a higher risk to certain folks like pregnant women, seniors, children, and teens.”

Radiation from scanners at airports or from police in NYC using Terahertz scanners. NO ONE has said this is safe…TSA/US Gov points to Johns Hopkins, who said –John Hopkins DID NOT validate any safety for the devices. US Government does not have to worry–the scanners have been placed as needed devices to stop terrorism. With that, NO COMPANY has to worry about safety testing–they are exempt. So…beam me up Scotty..”its safe, believe us!”. Complaints have been made and ignored from the scientific community. All in all, on travel, dont use the scanner.

@flapdoodle, Airport scanners are not safe. They are not treated as medical devices..they dont even have to be adjusted! DUH. Anyone watch the news and see the law suite brought by Airport/TSA baggage handlers who got cancer from the xrays/scanners. Courts denied the challenge..the devices are listed as exempt from testing –due to anti-terrorism act. Give me a break! They scan children..! One bad adustment..and they will give skin cancer..or worse to thousands..
Since I get patted down 100% due to artifical metal joints and full metal eiffel tower in my spine (thanks to Chenobyl?)–good idea to wear an bathing suit, without metal in it, under your clothes..then you ask to be patted down in public so EVERYONE sees what occurs. Ask for clean non latex gloves..make sure the screener takes out of a box with non-latex on it, and puts on in front of you. So far..with 100% patdowns, the wild 1950 retro RED/BLUE/PURPLE bathing suit raises chuckles..but at least I dont have to be taken to a private area..where no one knows what happens. Two elderly ladys reported being STRiP SEARCHED in the past month. Two too many.

of course it does – however the TSA’s exclusive backscatter technology actually is marketed to safely and efficiently remove unwanted radiation from your body- they accomplish this with advance entabulator technology – you knew that right?

Airport scanners? Google the phrase “chertoff scanners” and prepare to be amazed unless you already know this.

In fact it has changed – a lot of nuclear tests, depleted uranium in wars, nuclear plant disasters. Instead of healthy genetic heritage, we, people living today, will leave nuclear waste for generations…

It so true, I live in Northern California and I took photo’s of all the yellow trees that were once evergreens and the bushes. I was so sick after the first explosion from Fukashima I didn’t put the 2 together for a while. I saw glop’s of something coming down from the sky one day while the sun was out. I googled what was going on with fukashima and there was nothing after the explosion, except right after it when they said the plum would hit the west coast in 3 days. After that nothing at all.
I saw the plants dying and we all were gry and yellow. The water was making my hair fall out. Not knowing why I had a stomach seizures at that time, now I think it was the fallout. My plants died from my watering them with tap water. They had burn areas where I was waterig them. I have the photos. Now we have “pollen” everywhere after this last rain. Like really? in winter time after raining? Hey everyone! get this report, GE “General Electric” built Fukashima, GE also owns 50% stock in NBC, FOX NEWS, CNBC, and on and on… It’s a cover up like no other before. The planet is screwed, or I should say “we are screwed”, All because of greed. And GE pays no taxes? We won’t hear about power plants leaking because GE gives these countries the technology. Did you know what they use plutonium for? To heat the water in nuclear plants!..lol.. REALLY? JUST TO HEAT WATER WE RISK OUR LIVES? LAME!! lol.. it’s old technology and we need to stop it now! GE make arms for us so we’re not going to call them out..lol….

Beautiful recap of northern California friend! I saw and felt it just as you say!
Remember the black goo on the plants in late April. early May?
How ‘we’ lived through THAT still amazes me!
Even my two dogs were hospitalized at that time. Full radiation burns, hair loss, blood tinged stools, vomit, we were all nearly dead! But SURVIVE we did! Not getting cocky,….but it’s good to remember.
I thank you.

I was drinking bottled water from California back then. That and mowing the lawn is what gave me the initial high radiation dose. Not sure which was worse, I think it was the lawn. It gave me a cough which I still have 9 months later.

Thanks Dr.Awesome.
The truth will not been seen with eyes, will not be listen with ears, either be spoken with mouth ,while this world is close to the end of the time.
Very sadly, this kind of human behavior is shown from Japan now ,and it spread like flu virus all over the world, not only the fall-out Fukushima, but this sick human mentality.

How to treat people? How about kindly and compassionately? Sheesh.
A primarily alkaline diet, brown rice or quinoa, root vegetables, kudzu (leaves or root starch), whole fruits and seeds, salt/soy sauce (you’ll need the sodium but don’t overdo). Avoid refined sugar. Trying to balance acidity in the blood (first thing affected by radiation). Need vitamins A and C – antioxidants – preferably from food and spices. In teas and broths if the person has trouble keeping solid food down. Supplements of calcium, potassium, D3 and B12. Also suggest a tonic decoction of dandelion root and milk thistle seeds, 1/4 cup twice a day if tolerated for organ support. Don’t overdo exercise – go ahead and go slow for the duration to spare unnecessary heart/lung stress.
Herbal supports should be from among the known antivirals/immune strengtheners. Elder, Japanese honeysuckle (these are best), wild raspberry/blackberry leaves, goldenrod… some Chinese herbs I’m not familiar with. Search for herbal antivirals and you’ll get lots of returns. Mint with a little ginger in tea for helping control nausea and calming coughs, lukewarm bergamot tea for soothing mouth and throat membranes. This tea can also be soothing as a nasal wash.
These are for people with relatively high chronic exposure who are showing some symptoms. Everybody would do well to up our intake of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Increase the alkaline side of this diet, diminish the acid. And for goodness sake, use good bottled water or triple filtered – activated charcoal for dissolved nasties plus good heavy metals and particulate filters.
