FUKUSHIMA, Oct. 29 — “German movie director Wim Wenders, visiting Iitate, Fukushima Prefecture, said nuclear power generation is the only invention that may destroy the future of human beings,” reports the The Japan Times.

“When a woman told Wenders she has nagging concerns about radiation, he said he didn’t know how to help her other than to tell her she is not alone. Wenders later went to the city of Fukushima and screened his new 3-D film ‘Pina’ for free.”

Wenders is the winner of many awards, including the Palme d’Or, the Cannes Film Festival’s top honor.

He’s right, though, across several areas of the planet, it might be more accurate to say that nuclear power may already have destroyed the future of human beings

what? no way… i mean just today we have an exact, scientific rendering of where 100% of the fukishima emmissions have gone…..

Ocean Absorbed 79 Percent Of Fukushima Fallout

3 0 0 About 19 percent of airborne fallout from the Fukushima nuclear disaster was deposited in Japan, and only about 2 percent made it to other land areas in Asia and North America, according to a study published this week by the European Geosciences Union. The bulk was absorbed by the Pacific Ocean.

Only 2% may have reached North America….

      Its all good…

The Securities and Exchange Commission settled aiding and abetting charges with one of Enron’s former top finance executives. The charges were linked to the infamous Nigerian barge deal with Merrill Lynch.

Under the plea deal, Jeffrey McMahon, Enron’s former treasurer and chief financial officer agreed to pay $300,000 in disgorgement and prejudgment interest and to a five-year bar from acting as an officer or director of a public company. He also agreed to be suspended from appearing or practicing before the SEC as an accountant, with a right to reapply after three years.

To be clear, on a number of occassions I have commented to reflect the mindset the piece is intended to inspire.

I have done this to underline other comments I have made that dispell the language and issues management techniques used by the mindbenders who have worked over time to shape public opinion on this issue.

They have done so successfully and the evidence is all over this comment board. Anyone who walks out into the streets of NA and openly discusses the radiation threat from Fukushima is delegated a fringe nutbar. This is a direct result of the spin and propaganda perpetuated by serious professional issues management people.

It’s not just Japan and North America . . . there’s Belarus and Ukraine and all the other parts of Europe that are still contaminated by Chernobyl’s fallout . . . then there are places in Africa (and elsewhere) that have been badly contaminated by the uranium mining in the region . . . then there are all of the places where the US army has used its depleted uranium weapons, a by-product of uranium processing for the nuclear power industry . . . the list goes on and on. Notice: this list doesn’t even include places contaminated specifically by nuclear weapon production/testing.

Add those places in, and the list gets even longer still. Here are just a few of the most notorious examples:

My son’s friend, who served in Afghanistan, now has lymphoma. What about the Iraqis, Afghanis, Pakistanis, Africans, Libyans, etc… who have been exposed to depleted uranium and other war munitions?

My thanks for Enenews, this trememdous source of nuclear news coverage, but I remain deeply pessimistic about the U.S., a hegemonic military empire, curbing its use of nuclear materials.

Our energy future will depend on nuclear reactions to efficiently generate power however it will not utilize uranium or MOX fuel. The Rossi E-CAT process based on LENR using hydrogen gas and nickle powder + catalyst recently generated 470 KWatts power. E-CAT does not release any radiation into the environment. This free energy generator is much maligned by academia as the theory behind the LENR process has not been supported given our lack of understanding of the underlying physics and the unwillingness to pursue anything considered disruptive in nature to the existing power industry and control structure.

As bad as the gulf oil spill was, that accident didn’t taint the air (and possibly food) of an entire hemisphere (yes it tainted sea food in the region, but not crops, dairy, and meat miles inland). Only nuclear power accidents have these incredibly far-reaching impacts.

Why can’t people see this? Why can’t the enviro’s who are so concerned about global warming see that this is even more of a threat–life on the planet and ecosystem *may* be able to adjust in response to climate change, but if the DNA of innumerable species and the genes they pass on to subsequent generations are damaged, there’s no coming back from that. There’s no way to restore it, and it will only get replicated and compounded with every future generation.

…I think that there a few of us on this blog..that believe the BP oil spill is not over..
    ..quite the opposite.
The Loop current is not working properly.
It is critical for the themoregulation of the planet.

hi heart its the 30 of october in uk …no frost …not cold when clear skies at night…very regular blustery winds..only some trees dropping leaves….theres something going down for sure….oh and very little coverage of this strange weather pattern or effects on nature!!! ho hum!!

        @ arclight..
Damage to the Loop Current has to have an effect on the climate…
It hasn’t reached the UK on over a year.
It will be very interesting to watch the weather patterns this winter.
I’m sure the weather engineering set have a plan.
Fail plan…this cannot remain hidden forever..the extent of damage is too great.
….after all they blew a hole in one of the largest oil reserves on the planet.

hmm the reason for the overly mild weather comes from here….when solar flares decline the full effects of a switched of current would be more noticable…given the weather of last year to this and southern norway seeing the northern lights (as predicted by edgar case :( remember?)
i offer this as evidence to the current warming aspect… could not find much about ionizing radiation and atmosphere (tis a bit of a mindfield im slowly wading my way through)

“According to the new paper, published in the journal Nature Geoscience, when UV output is low, colder air than normal forms over the tropics in the stratosphere. This is balanced by a more easterly flow of air over the mid-latitudes. The cold air in the stratosphere then makes its way to the surface – leading to bitterly cold easterly winds across the UK and parts of Europe.

When UV output is higher, the opposite is true, with warmer air making its way to the surface, and carried across the UK and Europe from the west.

Of course there are other factors involved in determining our weather, and this alone does not mean scientists have discovered the holy grail of long range forecasting.

Looking globally the research makes clear that the impact of the sun’s changing UV output acts to redistribute heat, with cold European winters going hand in hand with milder winters in Canada and the Mediterranean, for example, with little impact on overall global temperatures.

The work is based on an 11 year solar cycle, with the regional temperature changes associated with the peaks and troughs of the UV cycle effectively cancelling each other out over that time.

But there are some scientists who believe that there are longer term cycles, such as the bi-centennial cycle and that on average over the coming decades solar activity will decline.”

          http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulhudson/

basically there are more than one thing at work here and its complicated, but evidence is slowly forming given time…

    • In general modern civilization’s idioms are leading us directly to extinction. You may get a feel for it from Vandana Shiva et al.1986. Environmental Conflicts and Public Interest Science.EPW.21(2).pp 84-90. Also Mahatma Gandhi in Hind Swaraj. To Mahatma Gandhi, the Bhagavad Gita is his mother. In the 18 th Chapter we read:
There is true knowledge learn thou it is this:
To see one changeless life in all the lives,
      In the separate, the inseparable.
This is the basis of perfect design.
      But Modern civilization’s foundation is
      Imperfect Knowledge:
To see the separate existences apart
And seeing them apart to hold it to be true.
See then how extinction follows from
      the statement at

I wish there are more people making art on our side.
May be we should try to do something ourselves – art transmits emotions, and we are generating a lot. Why not try to express them, even just for relaxation? And who knows, may be people will accept it better than warnings and explanations.

Not as this article’s head says, “may destroy” the future of mankind (and most of 100 million estimated non-human species) but IS IN THE PROCESS of destroyING the human and non-human genomes in the biosphere and will continue to do so unless we release the creativity of the 7B who are not billionaires, insiders, profiteers in charge of a disaster for which consequences they are too short-sighted and CYA strategy addled to which to properly or even slightly humanely respond. We need full, strategically focused (on undermining the enemy class of billionaires and their lackeys and cohorts), revolution to topple ALL non-transparent human hierarchical systems, immediately. I will keep reminding everyone of this FACT.
