Title: Video: Former prosecutor comments on explosion

Former Prosecutor Greg Garrison: Natural gas tends to go like this [up] and often leaves the entire rubble pile right where it landed. If you’ve got stuff going like so [sideways] one might wonder about a different type of accelerant or an explosive detonated in the middle of that. Something has happened. ATF’s [Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives] been in there. Somebody’s sniffed out that there is something different. It could end up something postage stamp sized It could end up being some sort of granular residue. [...]

"In an interview last October, Rep Peter King, R-N.Y., chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, stated he was convinced that Iranian diplomats out of New York and Washington, D.C., were involved with terrorist forces in Iran, attempting to spy on America.

The source says these cells are divided into two groups: one is operational and awaits the order to attack; the other gathers information, monitoring such sensitive sites as power plants, water and food distribution, refineries, railroads and others along with information on officials of the host countries and their activities. This information, transferred to Iran, is being used by the Quds Force command in Tehran “to select targets for maximum effect.”

However, currently there are more than 35 terrorist training camps spread across the USA and run by Sheikh Gilani from Pakistan. They are called “Soldiers of Allah” or “Jamaat ul-Fuqra” and are training in some remote areas.

What I was trying to say, I think any terrorist is misinterpreting the religion, whether intentionally or not. I think that if a religious teaching justifies terrorism, it is not really a religion but a human projection.

The sad thing about Islam, Christianity and Judaism, who although they have different teachings, still all believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Islam teaches tolerance of Christianity and Judaism in the Koran. These two peoples are People of the Book. However, in a political state, many people are really secularists and don't follow any religious teaching at all. They just say that they have religious justification for their actions, or they may naively believe or have been told that they do.

The long investigation calls attention to itself. They can test for explosives and accelerants fairly quickly. If they suspect gas, then they have to pick through the rubble to figure out the possible source.

if I am not mistaken, back in the Timmy mcveigh days, the FBI busted another group — white malitia types — who had built a fuel air explosive that they were planning on deploying to wipe out the FBI repository in Colorado.

my read on this is it was not an attack, but someone was building something to use elsewhere and had an oops.

I agree w/ PavewayIII. The focus is on the gal. The easiest motive to come up with is the upside down mortgage thing. Then, add in a little compulsive gambling. Wasn't a daughter staying at a friend's house & a dog at the doggie hotel? How old is the daughter? Can she be questioned. What is the boyfriend's background? If premeditated, how evil, to look after your own living things and the hell w/ other human beings. What are they, some kind of Teutonic Talmudics or other special psychopaths?

I think the above is probably the most likely of scenarios. Then too there is the conspiracy angle, i.e. drones / special ops / directed energy. Isn't this gal some kind of NASA microbiologist? Did she know too much / threatened to spill some beans? Extortion would be one good way to get out from a bad mortgage & support a gambling habit as well. But then you don't mess w/ the big guys. You lay down w/ dogs / you get up w/ fleas. If she were some kind of target, I would certainly think they'd make sure she was home to do their deed. Unless someone also wanted to obliterate evidence / technical notes / etc, I think blowing up a house would be like killing a fly with a 12 gauge. Think of all the dead microbiologists. A heart attack at the roulette wheel would make more sense. But then these days, everything seems like pieces of a bad screenplay.

    Report Comment

    • PavewayIII PavewayIII

Don't forget the awful ending to the bad screenplay: the powers that be are alarmed that many more underwater homeowners will have leaky gas pipes or unexplained arson. When the buyers- or lender-of-last-resort are gone and you need to feed your family or live in a homeless shelter, insurance fraud seems like an acceptable risk. Those extortionists have been soaking up billions of premiums and hiding them somewhere. Get your money early because that Ponzi is going to collapse in a hurry when things get *really* bad.

How does the government protect itself from homeless, hungry and EVIL citizens? Welcome to Camp FEMA. We're sorry but there is no cellphone service or internet in this remote location. CNN is always on in the recreation center and the staff will provide a limited number of copies of USAToday so you can keep properly informed. OK – who want's an "Arbeit Macht Frei!" t-shirt? One size fits all.

I can't believe all the mis-information on this site. I live 1/2 mile from Richmond Hill. The homeowner is an ER nurse at a local hospital, not a microbiologist. She shares the same name with one, though as I guess it's kind of a common Puerto Rican name. The boyfriend, who is a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, is a security guard at a boarded up conference center, where the white van was impounded.

The daughter is 12 years old. She had texted to her dad, who lives around 35 miles away, that their furnace was broken, around 2 weeks before the explosion. I think she was set up to report a "malfunctioning furnace" to her dad. They used her.

Mark Leonard is the boyfriend as stated above. He has a long list of criminal activity on his record. Cocaine/MJ possession in which he served prison time, stalking, intimidation, contempt of court, DWI, driving w/suspended license. The mother bailed him out for the past 2 years of charges. Mark Leonard and his friend David Gill also would spend time at Indiana casinos conning women of their money. You can read this all by Googling it, but the Urafreak.com web site has been removed recently, but you can still see it all in the cache.

On a recent trip to a casino, David Gill met up with a woman, told her he forgot to take his gambling money, and wanted to borrow money, saying he was soon coming into a large insurance settlement.

Still possible that it is a methane explosion. Methane, released by both global warming and by all the fracking along the New Madrid fault line including the oil drilling in the GOM. This explosion is only a small example of what will happen when there is a huge earthquake or explosion in Louisiana near or at the sinkhole.

Worse and earlier earthquakes along New Madrid than in 1812:

“Starting outside the base of the mound, he dug step trenches into the slope. ‘Here's what the bulge turned out to be," he says. "About A.D. 1400, the occupants of the Towosaghy site burned their temple. They took all the debris and dumped it down the side of the mound. There was lots of burned clay–the daub from the wattle-and-daub structure–baked very hard in tremendous quantities." Mingled with the charcoal and ashes, the University of Missouri archaeologist found ceremonial pottery, ornamental ear spools, and mushroom-shaped labrets designed to be worn in the lower lip.
“That the Late Mississippian residents torched and then deliberately trashed their temple was startling enough. But what sent Price straight to the telephone were the sand-filled cracks in the trench. He needed to call a geologist to be sure, but Price immediately suspected the truly astonishing implications: that the violent and devastating earthquakes that rocked the New Madrid area for two years, starting in 1811, were not a singular event. It had happened before and could happen again. …”

“Archeological studies have found from studies of sand blows and soil horizons that previous series of very large earthquakes have occurred in the NMSZ in recent prehistory. Based on artifacts found buried by sand blow deposits and from carbon-14 studies, previous large earthquakes like those of 1811–1812 appear to have happened around AD 1450 and around AD 900,[4] as well as approximately AD 300. Evidence has been found for an apparent series of large earthquakes around 2350 BC.[5] About 80 km southwest of the presently-defined NMSZ but close enough to be associated with the Reelfoot Rift, near Marianna, Arkansas, two sets of liquefaction features indicative of large earthquakes have been tentatively identified and dated to 3500 B.C. and 4800 B.C. These features were interpreted to have been caused by groups of large earthquakes timed closely together.[6]…”

From a news story, "the family’s cat was being boarded"

Speaking as a person who has grown up and has a pet cat one of the advantages of a cat as a pet is that it can be left alone easily for a couple of days. No boarding necessary and you don't need someone to come in and take care of the cat.

The news stories have all said the homeowners were at the Casino. If they were just away for a couple of days they could have left the cat at home. If they were away for a longer period of time the news articles should be reporting that they were on vacation but I haven't heard that.

The fact that all living beings happend to be out of the home at the time of the explosion is one heck of a coincidence.
