Katsutaka Idogawa, the mayor of Futaba Town at the United Nations Human Rights Council

At 2:35 in

Let me tell you about the explosion of the Unit No 1 […] After a huge explosive sound, a lot of small particles were falling on us from the sky. I was with about 200 people, and we were all speechless. I thought that my life had come to an end […] the radioactive dust fell on us as I mentioned.

At 9:o0 in

I am not sure if this is radiation induced but I have a cyst in my thyroid. If I cannot live for another 5 years, I can probably say that this is related to radiation.

Get ready for a lot of Fukushima necklaces. Thyroid surgeries by the tens of thousands…maybe hundreds of thousands.

Yes.. I think the radiation created his cyst. When a rattlesnake bites you on the finger you might find pretty soon you have 9 fingers. Fukushima is more dangerous than a billion rattlesnakes in Japan.

From one of the comments at the legal link:

"Iranian authorities have advised the one and a half million people who live in Isfahan to leave the city if they can because pollution has now reached emergency levels. The same thing happened in the capital Tehran earlier this week. Kasra Naji works for the BBC’s Persian TV service in London."

SP: As I commented last night…the sanctions and embargo has made Iran another Cuba of old polluting cars. Plus they can't get better burning imported gasoline that is less polluting. Add in the geography of those two cities and you have a belching Persian version of Mexico City on a wind free summer day.

    • or-well

Sickputer, you point to an important distinction.
There's a BIG difference between ordering a mil & 1/2 folks to leave a city, and asking them to leave if they can.
With all their problems, who thinks the Iranian authorities would order cleared an entire city in front of the world? Just silly.
