I believe an exchange of nuclear arsenal's are coming 'soon' for a number of forgone reasons in the news, and one to keep truths of where the isotopes came from that will do so much harm and will be impossible to say around the world what your cancer/illness came from !

The Japanese doctors are paid by the government which manipulates how they reimburse hospitals. The bad economy has hampered the quality of care long before the Great Eastern Earthquake. Doctors obey orders… The nail that sticks out gets hammered.

And look at all the socialized medicine being pushed on to citizens. That way, doctors HAVE to say what the government tells them! Right now, with the minimal exposures my family has had, and the major issues seen in almost all our children (the ones living) its "see no evil..hear no evil". In several days, will have yet one more surgery due to autoimmune disease issues..its ongoing still after over 20 years post exposure.

People there have had it rough losing their homes, now their health, and lives. My heart does go out to them. No one should have ever experienced this.

I should point out, that blood tests don't show anything till you are at least over 100-150mSv exposure – and then sometimes not.
It is highly variable.
To ascertain exposure you need to extract the white cell fraction, and culture them (BSA and Eagle media) and look for key dislocations and chromosomal aberrations with DNA antimers or monoclonal antibodies. This is what was presented to the British government for RNZN service personnel at the Xmas Islands tests. This was of course covered up, but by and by, a living survivor today only has twice the number of aberrations as the average member of the public – for the given time.
There is evidence that the body ejects damaged cells through a number of mechanisms, but the inherited cells are most vulnerable to exposure. Mammals carry their organs on the outside, and they are most susceptible to gamma and beta radiation.
Of course, the British government threw the case out, even though it was clear that they had suffered and died from their exposures.
Do not exceed 20mSv dose for a member of the public for one lifetime EVER. This limit is possibly being revised down to 5 mSv. Which is 3-4 lumbar x rays. There are the standards which your governments use, and then there are the standards which most researchers use. The two are NOT compatible.

I have no idea of God's Plan. I do believe there will have to be a cleansing of some sort, a chance for humanity to choose between good and evil, an "end times" to put it scripturally. I don't know if we are there / if this is it. In 2011 a huge wildfire came within 50 feet of the nukes at Los Alamos: within FIFTY FEET of massive disaster. Then the wind direction changed and the fire stopped approaching the nukes. This could well have been divine intervention. If so, it could happen at Fuku as well: in that case there would now be a more highly publicized opportunity for people to choose between good and evil. This is not the first time for Japanese government downplayed the effects of low dose radiation. Along USA, they did the same to some of Hiroshima and Nagasaki victims although they couldn't ignore direct victims of the bombs.

Lost my hair years ago…but am now training for roadbiking my age (again) some day soon…then doing a 'century' ride around Palm Desparate CA using my now 10 week old new hip…worried about hot particle inhalation on yesterday's 50 mile, 5 hour ride…and the Pacific fish and CA vegetables on the training table…and happy about our virtual lack of precipitation here – les than 2 in./yr. in our area.
I hope you corrupt federal and state blog monitors see what many of us are doing to do to maintain health, and communicate the truth, and how worthless, and soon tragic, your bureacratic efforts are.

I feel really bad for the Japanese people BUT!!!!! They are not doing a dam thing to stop the radiation from spewing all over this world and killing "ALL OF US" slowly! NOTHING, Zip, nada, zingo not a F'ing thing!!! Here in the Western United States our milk is radioactive as is our fresh fruits and vegetables. I am now moving to south America to get away from the radiation that envelops the Northern hemisphere. 199 more days before I can move and that's not soon enough!

Tacoma, where in South America are you moving to? Do you have any data that you are using to guide you in your decision? (I've been considering it, if my health improves enough to make that possible.)
Can't blame the people of Japan too much – they are victims, just like the rest of us. And it's deep in in their cultural values to be totally submissive to authority. It's kind of 'sick' – but unfortunately, our human society all over the world is really all messed up – obviously, or we could not be on the brink of self-extinction.

Do you guys think that Belize is far enough South?
I guess all I 'think I know',…is this,…just a guess. For those of us in the 5 western states, regions-I include Canada and Mexico,…moving to the furthest eastern parts of the Us,…will only be 'buying about 16 months,….South America,….4-5 years TOPS,…probably less, like 3 years. (This could be wrong, of course,…just what I've gleaned,…but no one REALLY knows!)
This gives time for technology to catch up,…maybe.
I found out yesterday that I do not know how to 'stand still and die'. The reasons for staying don't matter now. I found this encouraging,….maybe I (we) are as smart as a dumb rat. After all, a rat will try to climb out of a 5 gallon bucket if you fill it with water. Fear,…the 'fight or flight' instincts WILL kick in.
