Possibly the fires had only a *local* effect, and no one cared about a few hikers tramping over radioactive campsites.

Possibly the flooding will *not* have a local effect.

Report User I question why the EPA only tested ONE drinking water sample in Seattle, on March 28, (no radioisotopes detected), considering that the elevated levels of I-131 in the rainwater would likely take some time to make their way into the drinking water?

If you look at the results of tests done by the Washington State Department of Health, who did test cistern water used for Seattle drinking water several times, they did in fact find I-131, despite the EPA finding none. The numbers don’t match: EPA’s RADNET site shows radiation testing results in rainwater (“precipitation”):

      http://www.epa.gov/japan2011/rert/radnet-sampling-data.html#precipitation

Highest reading for I-131 in WA state was on March 24 in Olympia, at 125 PCi/L But the numbers are a bit higher, at 161 PCi/L, from the testing done by the WA State DOH , for rain samples collected in SEATTLE, on March 25 (one day after the highest EPA reading for WA): http://www.doh.wa.gov/Topics/japan/rainwater.htm

Look at the discrepancy between the results found in drinking water: EPA: .23 PCi/L for drinking water from Richmond, WA in a sample taken on March 28. Despite Seattle showing high levels of I-131 on March 25, EPA only managed to test ONE sample of drinking water on ONE day for Seattle, on March 28, which showed “non-detected.” The WA DOH website states they actually found I-131 in 4 samples of Seattle’s cistern water which is used for drinking: 12, 11, 10 & 7 PCi/L. Arne Gundersen,(fairewinds.com), a nuclear expert who’s been featured on CNN and in many other news outlets, says Seattle residents were breathing 5 “hot particles” from the fallout during April and May. Like in Japan, these hot particles don’t fall uniformly, so while not all of the Seattle area likely was covered by them, the hot particles were (are?) here, as his colleage’s testing of car air filters has shown.

I’m not sure if we’re still getting any hot particles in July? Maybe the helicopter survey will tell?

I think this person “Pale Horse” is from Tavistock, or someone from the industry or MIC or NWO that doesn’t want any one infromed. Christians are admonished to not judge, or else they will be judged themselves.
I am just posting the following information for context. Calling yourself “Pale Horse” is to call yourself the bringer of death and pestilence:

FOURTH SEAL. (A Pale Horse.) Rev. 6:7-8.

            Revelation 6:7-9
            New International Version (NIV)
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

The next is an ad for a book:

There is no one here who does not fear the unknown. It is a normal human response to a perceived threat. I do agree that by dwelling in the fear of all these threats, we are indeed ‘chasing our own tails’, because there is so little we can do to fix things. We go round and round, pondering all the ‘what it’s, and it gets us nowhere but more anxious. Personally, I believe that God is in control, but I still find it difficult not to worry about my own health as well as that of my family. We talk here to try to make sense of the insensibility, not because we think we are in control.

That is not chasing your own tail. That is living up to your potential as a human being. Many people have accomplished the impossible by keeping faith and fighting the good fight. Those are expressions which are cliches, but the meaning is anything but a cliche.

On to more important things…why the MSM doesn’t report it and no one seems to care. Many people follow a cult that calls itself Christianity.(Think of the Westboro Baptists as more vocal examples of this trend, but others are very numerous.) They have a real death wish, they want Armageddon, and some of them run the biggest corporations. This explains why no one seems to care about what is happening. They feel that there is no need to protect this world since it won’t be around much longer. Sadly this explains quite a bit. I have some of these in my own family.

A few thousand years in the future post-apocalypse rural Labrador has become a warmer and more hospitable place than it is at present. The inhabitants of Labrador have vague historical recollections of the “Old People”, a technologically advanced civilization which existed long ago and which they believe was destroyed when God sent “Tribulation” to the world to punish their forebears’ sins. The society that has survived in Labrador is loosely reminiscent of the American frontier during the 18th century.
The inhabitants practise a form of fundamentalist Christianity with post-apocalyptic prohibitions. They believe that in order to follow God’s word and prevent another Tribulation, they need to preserve absolute normality among the surviving humans, plants and animals. Genetic invariance has been elevated to the highest religious principle, and humans with even minor mutations are considered “Blasphemies” and the handiwork of the Devil.
Individuals not conforming to a strict physical norm are either killed or sterilized and banished to the Fringes, a lawless and untamed area still rife with animal and plant mutations. Arguments occur over the keeping of a tailless cat or the possession of oversize horses. These are deemed by the government to be legitimate breeds either pre-existing or achieved through conventional breeding. The government’s position is considered both cynical and heretical by the orthodox frontier community.

          http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2008/05/20/2249925.htm

Hello, can anyone tell me if the word pale ,as translated out of Greek into English,as found in the King James version of the Bible, Revelation 6.8, means pale green in Greek? And if so ,why was green left out of the English translation?

Hi Charles! Chloros (χλωρός) may mean pale, or just green (even fresh, young, and the like). The second translation doesn’t seem proper to the horse of death! Therefore King James preferred just the “pale” translation.

Thank you George!yes ,I understand that death would not be normally be considered fresh,or young ;especially in the time of King James. However, In this fresh ,young Change of [go green] and these new ideas of putting food in our gas tanks instead of sending our excess corn and food crops to the starving poor in other countries, and one of the weapons of death on the pale horse is starvation;I think this green movement should be watched carefully. How ever ;once again,Thank You.

That word is also used in Mark 6:39 and is there a place in the LXX that greek word is used in the OT?
Mark 6:39 also seems to resemble that passage in Psalms 22:2. Thoughts?

Revel. 6:8 And I saw and behold! a horse green/clwroV and the one sitting up-on him a name to him the death and the hades follows with him and was given to them authority upon the fourth of the land to-kill in sword and in famine and in death and by the beasts of the land.

Mark 6:39 and He enjoins them to recline all together drink together-drink upon the green/clwrw fodder.

Psalm 22:2 In greens of vegetation He is making recline me on waters of resting-places he is conducting/leading me

The word is used 4 times in the New Testament (3 of them in the Revelation) and 18 times in the Septuagint, with the meanings mentioned above, sometimes meaning “pale”, and sometimes meaning the grass, or the young, fresh, etc.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Here is one explanation for palehorse’s riddle.

The radiation is in the plankton. It’s at the bottom of the food chain.

It will move up the food chain, but more importantly, the plankton make 50 per cent of the oxygen on this planet.

That, together with the End Timer corporations cutting the EArth’s lungs out in the Amazon, means that we will not have enough oxygen to breathe within a very few years’ time.

A student at our college made a simple and devastating graph about the Amazon. This little nuclear thing is just the icing on the cake.

So the ‘green’ world will end and everything that breathes oxygen will surely notice.

And I got it wrong. If you read my link it states that between 70% and 80% of our oxygen is produced by algae and phytoplankton.

          • All major ELE events in the past were preceded by global warming which caused oceans to become anoxic (lacking in oxygen).

            Sustained and significant global warming
This would have the opposite effects: expand the area available for tropical species; kill temperate species or force them to migrate towards the poles; possibly cause severe extinctions of polar species; often make the Earth’s climate wetter on average, mainly by melting ice and snow and thus increasing the volume of the water cycle. It might also cause anoxic events in the oceans (see below).
Global warming as a cause of mass extinction is supported by several recent studies.[48]
The most dramatic example of sustained warming is the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum, which was associated with one of the smaller mass extinctions. It has also been suggested to have caused the Triassic-Jurassic extinction event, during which 20% of all marine families went extinct. Furthermore, the Permian–Triassic extinction event has been suggested to have been caused by warming.[49][50][51]

            Anoxic events
Anoxic events are situations in which the middle and even the upper layers of the ocean become deficient or totally lacking in oxygen. Their causes are complex and controversial, but all known instances are associated with severe and sustained global warming, mostly caused by sustained massive volcanism.

It has been suggested that anoxic events caused or contributed to the Ordovician–Silurian, late Devonian, Permian–Triassic and Triassic–Jurassic extinctions, as well as a number of lesser extinctions (such as the Ireviken, Mulde, Lau, Toarcian and Cenomanian–Turonian events). On the other hand, there are widespread black shale beds from the mid-Cretaceous which indicate anoxic events but are not associated with mass extinctions.

We know, the media is run by corporations, and we know that even the things on the Internet, we have to sift through trying to figure out the correct information.

I cannot and will not say that there aren’t people out there trying to let us know what is happening, because there are people who care in getting the truth out there.

Granted we might not be able to change anything or maybe we can if our voices are heard.

I would rather be informed and have my eyes open to things around us than not. I don’t want to be walking in a fog. God gave us brains to use and to learn with.

So are we just shouting and chasing our tail, that’s a valid question. Maybe so.
I would rather do that than sit in the corner in a rocking chair.

Some, can do more..some can do as little as just posting and getting the word out..some do nothing at all living in a fog.

Everyone has to choose and hopefully do what they can, instead of sitting in that rocker and being oblivious.

I would rather know the truth.
No, you can’t prepare for what is coming, not in the long run. We were doomed even before Fukushima. Our scientists’ predictions for what was to happen in ‘a century’ should be interpreted as ‘what is happening now’–and it’s even worse than they predicted. None of the computer models were accurate, reality is much worse.

Knowing about this does not make me want to prepare and try to run away to New Zealand. Let’s face it, none of us will make it there, and even if we did…Christchurch was destroyed by an earthquake, there will be more, and the radiation is down there anyway.

Knowing about this DOES make me enjoy the beauty of the day more, it makes me value my friends, my neighbours, my pets, and (if we get that far) I will go much easier on my students this fall. I feel sorriest for them.

Knowing about what is to happen can make you enjoy life more.
I’m only human, I have wishful, magical thinking about what might NOT happen…but that is not the way to bet.
Humanity has had this coming for a long time. Fukushima is the period on a long sentence.

      Hi milk and cheese,

I am for the knowing the truth also.

I do believe you can prepare, you can make things right with God, and strengthen your belief. You already know through the Bible, he is on your side.

You can prepare by stocking up on water, food, toiletries, medical things. If you have the means to go out and buy those things, you could also help others who won’t be able to get needed things.
Hopefully, you will never use those supplies.

God wins, so how can we be doomed.
Maybe we now know a little how Jesus felt, as he prayed on the Mount of Olives

Would I like to go to Australia, sure I would love to pack up my family and two very small Chihuahua’s and head there, even though I believe it will reach there eventually. I don’t want to go through this, I’m human.

I’m glad that you are enjoying your life.
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

      This helps me:

“The scientific method is the only real tool available to test and prove the truth of anecdotal evidence of clairvoyance. If one person in three or even one in fifty, had the ability and was able to demonstrate it on demand, there would be no need for the scientific method, just as there is no need to test the statement “people eat food”—it would be an observable fact. Until that time, organisations like PEAR and the SPR will continue to test for proof.”

Background radiation reading for northwestern pennsylvania 07/15/11:

37 cpm with geiger counter held waist high

Darth – I also took a reading with the counter about a half inch off the grass as you suggested I might be missing some particles at waist height. It was actually lower – 28 cpm. Go figure! My best guess is that it was fairly windy this morning. When standing and holding the counter at waist height I feel the full force of the wind but squatting at ground level there is a noticeable decrease in wind. Could that account for the difference? Also, for anyone paying attention to these readings, please note I’m using a decent geiger counter but it’s a low end model that only detects 3 of the 4 kinds of radioactive particles. However, given the total lack of info on the subject, at least it provides some kind of baseline. Cheers!

        Thanks.

I guess your device can measure alpha, beta and gamma. Alpha & Beta don’t penetrate very far – thus the suggestion to be closer to the ground.

You can also place your device in a ZipLock bag – that will eliminate all alpha and beta detection.

Test at ground level by rain gutter downspouts as rainwater washes 10,000 feet or more of the atmospheric air column of any floating particles. A atmo-accumulation process.

Report any findings in latest threads.

I wonder if the wind was blowing hot particles at the detector – making it sense like it was an air filter.

        Thanks.

    • Thanks StillJill,

      Means a lot to me.

Not to say I can’t take care of myself.

Was born in NZ and spent the first 12 years of my life in knuckle fights with Maoris (good people by the way – but I used to forget my left sometimes, thus about 5 black eyes!).

Then I worked in a pool hall for a year. Whoa, what an education.

The last guy that came at me (holding a cue ball and an eight ball in one hand ready to nail me, then a broken off beer bottle) ended up being pushed through a double-pane glass door then hit his head on the asphalt.

Didn’t know I was that strong! (He was twice my weight).

OK, he tried to drive his car back through the doors, but braked at the last minute.

Spoiled my shot though (I don’t really play pool at all) and missed the corner pocket.

      Rats.

I did have a guy from the 3rd infantry (Vietnam) and another Canadian just back from Yugoslavia who used to back me up, but they weren’t there at the time.

Now, I’m just a quiet guy who plays a flute, loves cats, reads the Bible a bit [actually I’ve read it front to back including all the begats), and tries not to be a pest on enenews!

Thank you for that, and hopefully you will add your notes to clarify what exactly you are sharing with the group later.

As you can see, we have quite the research group of concerned souls gathered here. May they all now accept a blessing from the Highest House. Pat yourselves on the back with a little self-reinforcement and support now please.

What may be more of a concern are the continuing affects of radiation on the human system. Yes, it will translate down through the ecosystem, but there are also more immediate threats to protect ourselves from.

Now in the process of writing up some more about this so please stay tuned for some important info that I will invite you all to expound on. See the latest post for this report. It will be put it on a few stories here.

Gratitude for all who positively contribute to the information flow on Enenews. Many are truly guided by that Higher Heart part that is Our direct connection to something far greater than we are.

As far as religion is concerned, most spiritual instruction comes from experience.

IMO Science arguments are interesting. People get really upset and shout down each other quite often.

Many types of scientific research are only as “exact” and “factual” as the lifespan of the scientists participating. Every generation has something to add.

Learn to properly co-exist and better solutions can be found more quickly.

Earth changes have always existed. Human errors now exist. It is the humans that need to adapt to the Earth in beneficial ways. The reasons can vary but that’s the bottom line.

The Earth can absolutely exist without us.
