HAVE FIREFIGHTERS go and plug each gas line that is leaking they have haz mat gas plugs or you take a piece of wood and jam it in the end and seal 90 percent of the gas

But take a hammer made of brass.
Steel would make sparks if you hit the line.

Are they not able to shut a main valve off in a safe area? I understand they cant get through, but they should be able to shut the main ones off and let the remaining gas burn off.
Good luck to them FF's i wouldnt go near that place. Def not with a reactor we know nothing about.

and those idiots are running their vehicles near the damn thing…good call….because alternators don't cause sparks…

I hope they learn a lesson from this. Obviously Fukushima has taught them nothing, go figure. We must start investing in our ancient infrastructure and I would love to see all nuke plants shut down but that is a pipe dream thus they should at least upgrade the facilities. I really don't understand the failure to address these pressing issues.
