MSN Now, July 15, 2013 (h/t Anonymous tips): It might be wise to steer clear of vegetables from Japan’s Fukushima area for, oh, say a few hundred years. A Korean website assembled this image collection of produce from towns and villages surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. And they are NOT pretty pictures. From Siamese-twinned corn cobs to what can only be called peaches with elephantiasis, the region’s agriculture appears to have taken a heavy radiation hit [...]

  • IMO – It's not just Japan that has "taken a heavy radiation hit", but the entire Northern Hemisphere from what I see.

I am in central California. The local strawberries and cherries are highly mutated. The packaging tends to take several of the odd ones and spread them out and then they place them in the bottom of the basket.

;) The Fukushima related anomalies forum here contains many links to people who have documented this. It obvious that it's far beyond any 'normal' rate of mutation.

My own video of a mutated persimmon:

I shudder to think of the consequences for the generations of all living things in years to come. :(

Would be interesting to see what the seeds produce, if they could produce anything at all. If that giant cabbage was allowed to go to seed, would we have a whole new cabbage progeny of giants? Those Royal Ann cherries in Fukushima could get as big as a tennis ball. Just like in that HG Wells movie: "The Time Machine".

Through a series of transactions, the Monsanto that existed from 1901 to 2000 and the current Monsanto are legally two distinct corporations. Although they share the same name and corporate headquarters, many of the same executives and other employees, and responsibility for liabilities arising out of activities in the industrial chemical business, the agricultural chemicals business is the only segment carried forward from the pre-1997 Monsanto Company to the current Monsanto Company.
Thanks Flapdoodle! It is amazing what I can learn from you bloggers on enenews.

The problem is only emanating from Fukushima Daiichi. All of Japan, the United States should be concerned. And beyond.

Damn Twinkies are starting to sound better as time goes on…

    :P

Produce has been so different since about late March 2011

    Report comment

    • Maybe pre-311 Twinkies.

      Ingredients:
Enriched wheat flour, sugar, corn syrup, niacin, water, high fructose corn syrup, vegetable shortening – containing one or more of the following: partially hydrogenated soybean oil, cottonseed oil, canola oil, and beef fat, dextrose, whole eggs, modified corn starch, cellulose gum, whey, leavenings (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), salt, cornstarch, corn flour, corn syrup solids, mono and diglycerides, soy lecithin, polysorbate 60, dextrin, calcium caseinate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, wheat gluten, calcium sulphate, natural and artificial flavors, caramel color, yellow No. 5, red #40.

Creating things that people consume with ingredients that aren't 'real' food is a whole other issue.

I did not know that Twinkies had beef fat.

We are so screwed, but the elite have a cure/defense ya know.
Hope they enjoy the show….especially when the last dollar blows down an empty street and no one is left to grab it.
Wonder what they will do with all that money when mutations make a healthy birth impossible…..no one to serve them, no one to feed them, no one to hire and fire, no customers to buy their wares.
Just them, their gold and a dead world ….

Bill Gates (quoted above) is an idiot. He supports GMO foods, vaccine programs and nuclear plants. He had a talent for cornering the market, but that is BUSINESS talent. The man is not even smart and he supports terrible things. No Bill Gates fans here.

    "Tech giant Toshiba"?
Toshiba was both the reactor supplier and responsible for the architecture of the Unit #3 which has spread finely powdered plutonium around the world from the MOX fuel.

How many other failures of Japanese nuclear experiments is Toshiba responsible for? Toshiba now owns Westinghouse.

Bill Gates is more than just an idiot. He will go down in history along with others responsible for the death of millions. Only now it will be billions.

Last I heard serial murderers belong in jail at the very least.

He was given everything he has as a member of the elite. He lives in paradise right where all the hot particles fell from Fukushima, where the rains and fallout were stalled out over Washington State.

The Romans had lead pots. The US has radiation.

"Inadvertently, the United States has trapped itself in a web of its own making. It has created a huge laboratory of victims contaminated with uranium who are being studied by independent investigators from al over the world. And what is being witnessed is an overall debilitation i health of the exposed populations. Before all of humankind, the suffering of those contaminated by depleted uranium weapons is testimony against the lie formulated by the developers of nuclear weapons and reactors–that low-level radiation is not a hazard to health."

Bill Gates should have studied the Romans and biology. If he had studied the Greeks he would have known that hubris will bring down anyone. The business model for an empire is not the best model. He promoting of nuclear energy and Monsanto shows that he knows nothing about biology and that he has no compassion for anyone but himself.

Bill Gates will have to face his maker one day & what will he say? What every it is there be no NSA or other government spy agency to help him! When you sell your soul for evil be ready to face living with it.

I have saw tomato like I have never seen before, also wild white carrots deformed in the flower & also in the root. All the honey bees are gone, you could not walk in my yard bare foot tens years ago with out being stung, now no bees, wasps, bumble bees but huge ants & flies!

Invest in a hydroponics system, you can raise fish & fruits & vegs all indoors & filter the water to get out as much nuclear particles as possible, but then you still have to go out side & you will intake all sorts of deadly particles thanks to nuclear power plants, bomb test left overs & the all the nuke Subs sunk by the USA & Russia to save money. Then of course the GMO's & Fukushima non stop waves of a mixtures of who knows what!

Ask why did the EPA raise the limits per kilo gram of radiation allowed in a liter of water, milk & food? Did Hillary have any thing to do with the fact a trade agreement with Japan right after the quake? Our limits are way higher than Japan's, why, what does our guberment know? Is Hanford or the Missiour land field neat St Louis or the mountains of crap being buried every day at Oak Ridge? DRRAP robs will soon be replacing our military from the front lines, drones flying off Navy Carries, just the thing to start WWW3 & lights out for how many people?

WILD PITCH, Bill Gates is not the devil. His windows program saved us all in nuke/petro-chemical energy transaction costs, uncountable. Also, you speak of hydroponics that require energy. Most hydroponic tech light sources came from nuke and petro.
You are spewing in anger and doom and gloom. I will bet that the lamp used to see you entering this world was from nuke power.

I was born before the Trinity bomb test. Bill Gates' nuclear venture hasn't even seen fruition yet. The technology and resources for solar and wind are enough to more than triple the world's energy needs.

And with all his money he had to get subsidized by the US government, in other words, by my tax dollars. He is a bottom-feeder. He should not have won the court case which destroyed the anti-trust laws of this country. Too big to fail means that everyone has to share the failures of those who gamble with our money. Why do I have to share the failures of those who are gamblers? Why does Bill Gates support GMOs and refuse the labeling that should be put on food warning people that GMOs are the ingredients of food?

I did offer a remedy. Solar and wind and organic farming without any GMOs. Were all the soldiers in WWII the elite? Whatever I have in this world is due to my Maker and not to the elite. Everything we have is due to the GI bill after WWII and free higher education for all. This came from the citizens who fought in WWII not the elite. The elite would have turned us over to Hitler. You'd better study history.

I owe my life now to organic farmers, not the elite which is spreading radiation all over the place and GMOs. I owe my life to the courageous whistleblowers and freedom and democracy which the elite are taking away from us. I owe my life to all my ancestors, not just the very few who have been the elite. Everyone knows that inbreeding creates many genetic diseases. And radiation and GMOs are only supported by morons.

Bill Gates is funding geoengineering, spraying our skies with aluminum, barium, seawater, etc.

"…So it was that after the inconclusive results of the Copenhagen Conference, word came that Bill Gates had invested at least $4.5 million into geo-engineering research. The idea: Find a way to reflect solar energy and filter carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Now we've got an early look at one such company, which reportedly is developing a way to seed clouds by spraying seawater into the air.

The machines, developed by a San Francisco-based research group called Silver Lining, turn seawater into tiny particles that can be shot up over 3,000 feet in the air. The particles increase the density of clouds by increasing the amount of nuclei contained within. Silver Lining's floating machines can suck up ten tons of water per second. If all goes well, Silver Lining plans to test the process with 10 ships spread throughout 3800 square miles of ocean. Geoengineering, an umbrella phrase to describe techniques that would allow humans to prevent global warming by manipulating the Earth's climate, has yet to result in any major projects."

Last summer, we had 12 – 14 ft. 'Queen's Anne's Lace' alongside our house. Thick stems that I had to cut with hedge clippers – IDK, I just thought that they'd grown really fast and had been let go, for too long. Also had those weird, multi-headed/thick-stemmed dandilions. Keeping an eye out, this year.
