I know I know I know ! He is saying “you guys are screwed … run like hell …and if you stay, you are a moron” …. Sounds about right ! 😉

I think in the beginning he’s looking at a cell phone – probably linked to the live feed – to make sure he’s centered on the screen and visible

The way he lifts his arm in sort of a military fashion is interesting.

And then, to make his point further, he comes in closer – obviously he’s had to climb up to the camera.

I can speculate a lot of things. Perhaps he’s one of the ones who had just been exposed and he knows he’s going to die, and this is his way of lashing out; Perhaps he’s trying to prove to someone that he’s actually on site; Perhaps he’s simply communicating with his family; Perhaps they are doing somekind of test or proof that the camera is indeed live.

    I don’t know, but it’s pretty interesting.

“I think in the beginning he’s looking at a cell phone – probably linked to the live feed – to make sure he’s centered on the screen and visible”

      This was my conclusion also.

As to the message he was trying to convey, whatever it was he certainly did it with feeling.

If he willingly went there without any orders then there’s no doubt he’s saying something. The radiation right there is probably extremely high which means him standing there for about 45 min got him a pretty good dose. So there has to be some kind of good reason he did this

  • americancommntr

It looks like “This accident concerns you, YOU!”

And at least the thinking, informed part of the world, has to admire and appreciate a guy willing to take the chance to do this. God bless him.

  • BreadAndButter BreadAndButter

Maybe he’s one of the crazy bunch who took pictures of themselves 3 months ago, posing on the catwalk…

  • farawayfan farawayfan

I don’t believe the message, whatever it was, was aimed at viewers like us. I think, if anything, it’s aimed at TEPCO, as in “You did this, this is your fault”.

    Pure speculation, of course.

I wonder if anyone can comment on the fact that he doesn’t bow when he is address us….I thought that was something so important in their culture thaey do it without thinking…unless they don’t bow when they have no respect for the person they are addressing…..
To me he appears to be pointing the finger of blame…let’s not forget GE is not a japanesse comapny, maybe he blames the USA for bringing this monster (nuclear energy) to Japan. Also his eyes transmit hate and fear not just fear.

  • catweazel

there is a video with a tracing line to his finger moving on youtube, my guess he is writing something. and his last sign is very big and in red, guess it is japanese for something evil. in case i find the link again i will post

  • Ken31ONCA

its probably a message to tepco or the japanese goverment or whoever watches the feeds and controls all the information. And to make idiots like james aware of whats going on LOL

  • many moons

He can hardly climb up to the camera, for a young man it shouldn’t take that much effort. He looks weary and sick and he even sits down on the pipe for his second address.

    • moonshellblue moonshellblue

Try to hold your are up and pointing for 20 minutes, not so easy but perhaps he acquire his strength via frustration, etc. I don’t know but he’s obviously very upset, of course why wouldn’t he be? I can’t imagine working in those conditions.

I was to wear a hazard suite for biological and chemical hazards recently some years ago.

You have no idea how obstructing these things are. First, viewing the world through a rather small windows is irritating, even for people who are arranged to glasses. When you roll your eyes to the side, you only see your suit – climbing that way is more than annoying.

Second you really have stay sure you don’t slice the suite on any sharp thing. Even putting the knee down on dirt can and will harm your suits containment.

  • If you run, you’ll only die tired. ;p

  • maaa

He’s saying Tepco where’s my money. You say you’re going to pay me xxx but I’m getting only a fraction of it. Look, if its something really important, I think more of them will come up to the camera. It should be about money

  • moonshellblue moonshellblue

Hydrogen explosion on August 31st. So that is why the workers were splashed with radioactive water.

  • ItsJustMetal ItsJustMetal

watch his eyes in the beginning when hes up close. He looks really really mad. its like the only time u can see the whites of his eyes. he took a big chance to do that. especially because of all the people trying to make it look safe.

  • Ariana

This is seriously creepy. On the first video, it looks like he has something in his hand that he is reading from, but that can’t be right because he can’t really speak clearly through that mask. Maybe he thinks the cameras pick up sound? I have this awful feeling for him in the pit of my stomach. If he isn’t already dying, someone will kill him for doing this and jeopardizing the “everything is under control” facade.

  • J.F. Sebastian

I believe the guy is standing in front of a blue-screen in a secret room at TEPCO headquarters. He is trying to prove that this is fake. As a security measure, to protect their secret, TEPCO insists that anyone entering the room must wear radiation protection; possibly due to some ruse regarding radioactive material, which may or may not be there.

  • bmurr bmurr

looks like he is holding a white iPhone or a white PDA of some kind. he stood there for a long time. I would guess he was observing the delay or confirming the camera was showing real time feed. I do everything from my android phone, including watching these videos.

  • Heart of the Rose Heart of the Rose

Tepco man…we walk the fine line between rage and outrage.
    I wish you well.

  • FaraFola

Could this be a test regarding a live feed from plant??

With PDA he might look a cam same time than he is standing there. But if feed is sensured, and TEPCO gives us just material they want us to see

Some images in the night shows, that there was at least some kind reaction going on. Also almost everyday we can hear a higher radiation reading even longer than 200km (120miles) away from plant.

If situation is critical, and worst case scenario is going to happen, it will affect a whole world, There’s enough plutonium and 7000rods on used fuel to take many lives…

  • lam335 lam335

Also very strange is the way that he first points off to the side and then swings his arm around before pointing it on in front of him in the first video. I wonder what that is about. Is he just pointing to the plant? It’s a very strange gesture and not a particularly natural motion.

  • xstatic

i sure he’s blaming everyone for his 2 cents

  • Ariana

Iam, I agree. I watched the slower video on youtube, and the way he points is odd. I also read on their comments that Tepco has responded to this, they say they don’t know what it is about either.

    We are Watching !!

  • Pointing to the Cam, where they and all can see the Disaster at the Plant poluting the world ??

  • many moons

The image from a distance is perplexing but when you comes up to the camera you see in his eyes hatred and fear at an extreme level….that’s what is really disturbing….his eyes.

  • WindorSolarPlease

I have no idea who he is pointing to, or what he is saying?
He doesn’t look to happy though.

All I know is, he is standing in a dangerous area.

He has people wondering what he is saying.

  • zaneinvernon

This is my impression of the video. He had a cell phone that was on the internet live feed ,which apparently has about a 20 minute delay. Once he saw himself on the cell phone he located the camera. The camera is probably small and in a congested area to keep the elements off it so its probably hard to see. He climbed to the camera and pointed in to it knowing that the world can view it. His message is “I am coming to you”. Meaning the radiation and illness is going to go worldwide.
It is probably much worse than is being told, that seems to be the only constant in this whole situation.

    • many moons

      That makes sense.

    • WindorSolarPlease

It could be.. “Tepco Shame On You.”
Who knows?? I wish the person would/could explain.

No matter what he meant, I do believe this radiation is spreading all over.

    • Mauibrad Mauibrad

Yep, zaneinvernon, I think that is about right. Another thing, the type of people who are volunteering for this, some of them are unemployed, homeless and in some cases unstable. This guy seems to fit that profile by his actions.

  • Reactor Reactor

I read that Tepco is not trying to ID who this person was. Why?

The last time I watched the live web cam from Canada (Sunday 28 August I think), I saw a man up there. I watched him while he pulled the weeds in the foreground of the above videos. If you watch the web cam now, you will see that those weeds are now gone.

I don’t remember the color of his breathing filter caps however. Whoever is capturing the web cam feed should look for this and see if it was the same person who was sent up there to remove the weeds from the camera view.

    • unru11ey1

i saw him pulling weeds also. it was the same guy. i am positive of this

      • Reactor Reactor

It is reasonable to assume someone is responsible for maintaining the webcam. If so, and TEPCO wanted to find out who did this, they could. Should they, or, as fascinating as it was, do they have enough high value work to do?

On the other hand, if TEPCO saw this person as having a pro-TEPCO message, I think they would make the effort to find him to give him a better platform from which to speak.

On another note, this guy was alone and out of view of those on site for 20 to 30 minutes? Hmm. Safety Alert! How chaotic is the labour control there anyways?

  • sicx sicx

What else could it possibly mean but: DOOMONYOU
We all know how bad it is over there. This the most disturbing thing I’ve seen since the hydrogen explosion.

  • sicx sicx

On the other hand…It could be faked, but somehow I don’t think so.

The Unheard Words of A Warrior.
    I am deeply honored.

  • xstatic

what’s happening while he is doing this? is it a distraction? that would be my guess. i remember hearing the birds ,what happened to the sound?

  • Mauibrad Mauibrad

Here is the guy in the videos:

That is the main interview in which it is revealed, although he doesn’t explain what he was pointing to or trying to convey.

Enenews, you should do a post to the above interview and video. The video is really good.
