Levee Intentionally Blown Up Along Missouri River, KETV, July 1, 2011:

[...] Pottawattamie County officials said a half-mile stretch of the Vanmann #30 levee [near Desoto Bend] was mechanically excavated and then lowered by using explosives.

Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Theulen said he was alerted Friday morning that the levee may have been in the process of being intentionally breached.

About 20 minutes later, officials said they received calls from people wanting to know why levees were being blown up. One caller claimed to have witnessed the explosion.

Authorities said they’re investigating the levee breach. Pottawattamie County officials said no government entity had anything to do with the detonation, and they did not have advance notice from the people responsible for the breach. [...]

That wouldn’t be very considerate of the rest of the solar system (and even galaxy) our little planet is in, would it?

In other words, do we really want the karma of contaminating not only the Earth with radioactive poisons, but the solar system (and possibly the galaxy, to whatever extent) as well?!

Radioactive poisons are clearly a problem created by humankind, so we better deal with it “at home” and not make it a problem for anywhere beyond this Earth.

Clearly, it is not at all responsible to blast our toxic problems into space – like all the other foolish and short-sighted acts of humankind, it will surely come back to haunt us later.

For instance, what about the future when we (and/or other beings not from Earth) want to travel through the solar system? What about the radioactive poisons that could pose a huge danger to such exploration if we just blast it all up there in the same short-sighted manner that we do everything else?

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_transmutation

Nuclear experiments have successfully transmuted lead into gold, but the expense far exceeds any gain.

Gold synthesis in a nuclear reactor
Gold was first synthesized from mercury by neutron bombardment in 1941, but the isotopes of gold produced were all radioactive.[3]

Gold can currently be manufactured in a nuclear reactor by irradiation either of platinum or mercury. Since platinum is more expensive than gold, platinum is economically unsuitable as a raw material.

Only the mercury isotope 196Hg, which occurs with a frequency of 0.15% in natural mercury, can be converted to gold by neutron capture, and following electron capture-decay into 197Au with slow neutrons. Other mercury isotopes are converted when irradiated with slow neutrons into one another or formed mercury isotopes, which beta decay into thallium.

Using fast neutrons, the mercury isotope 198Hg, which composes 9.97% of natural mercury, can be converted by splitting off a neutron and becoming 197Hg, which then disintegrates to stable gold. This reaction, however, possesses a smaller activation cross-section and is feasible only with un-moderated reactors.

It is also possible to eject several neutrons with very high energy into the other mercury isotopes in order to form 197Hg.

However such high-energy neutrons can be produced only by particle accelerators[clarification needed].

Hmmm…The Army Corps, Feds or state, county and local government aren’t the only people who have earth moving equipment and dynamite. Midwest farmers are a pretty independent and self-sufficient bunch.

Perhaps this is the work of a citizen or citizens who, like many of us, are fed up with the bungling, spin, mismanagement and lies from “Officials” and have taken matters into their own hands.

If this breach, which appears to be downstream from the power plant, actually lowers the levels upstream, we may be seeing the first positive actions taken in this whole sorry mess.

It may be desperation borne out of the lack of anything our “Officials” and “Authorities” have been able to accomplish. It may make matters worse, but the old adage “Try anything even if it’s wrong” comes to mind.

I hope we can some day look back at this and raise a glass to what may be some true citizen heroes. That is what America had in 1776. Why not now?

Two HUGE intel leads in my email box this morning from way-back contacts that I’ve had for years, that are actually somewhat connected concepts.

    1. File this one under “Now It All Makes Sense”. A Missouri farming and ranching contact just got off a conference call wherein he was informed that the federal government is sending out letters to all of the flooded out farmers in the Missouri River flood plain and bottoms notifying them that the Army Corps of Engineers will offer to BUY THEIR LAND.

Intentionally flood massive acreage of highly productive farmground. Destroy people’s communities and homes. Catch them while they are desperate and afraid and then swoop in and buy the ground cheap. Those evil sons of bitches.

    2. Speaking of evil sons of bitches, George Soros appears to be “investing” in farmground through the same puppet company that he used to get into the grain elevator and fertilizer business. The company is called Ospraie Capital Management and is buying up farmground in a joint venture with Teays River Investments as a partner. Here is that announcement:

Whether or not the levvee was intentionally blown, it might be the right thing to do to prevent clogging of intake valves at either/both Ft. Calhoun or Cooper Nuclear stations. If it is a good idea, legal or not, someone ought be doing it though, if it is “little-people” (regular citizens, non-feds) doing it, I’m sure it’s for property/$$$ preservation and not for larger greater community reasons. Americans of the U.S. are generally far far too selfish for that sort of insightful action-based behavior that I’ve ever seen in the U.S. The government should be blowing up levees upstream if they are not doing it. If blowing up levees did the trick and reduced flooding pressure on nuclear power plants over agricultural interests, of course that would be the SENSIBLE thing to do. I’d rather have pissed off corporate and private farmers than irradiation of everyone on the planet with millions of new cases of cancers, millions of live births and millions of deformities. Anyone recall the unverified video charging that explosives had been placed on Gavins Point Dam.
“Gavins Point Dam South Dakota Omaha Nebraska Impending Flooding Coming!”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WT5245SHCM

Now if you saw that you may recall the guy DID mention COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA in his video…2:55 starting “When you go across river on Interstate 480 into Council Bluffs Iowa there’s a large apt complex on the north side left hand side as you go into town. A VERY BIG COMPLEX. Those people have been evacuated out for a week, week and a half, maybe 2 wks as it is not mandatory yet. Anyway, yesterday (June 25) the National Guard there driving inside the complex, around the complex surveying it. We got National Guard Troops all over levees that are here. They were suppose to blow a levee in Plattsmouth which is south of my position. I do not know if it’s been blown yet, have not been watching news. I have other concerns at this point to make preparations of my own. I’m not personally in the flood plans as it were when I sit on a site of a good sized hill. Effects, we could lose our electric and fresh water 2 maybe 3 months, we don’t know. Employer cleaned up shop things have been relocated in the flood plan before info about the dam being blown (Gavins Pt dam SD) came down the pipe. We could face tremendous losses. Not only will water come down river, the channel is FULL, no channel as it were to hold that water, it’s gonna spread out. Anyways, if you don’t live in the area and you;re watching this video, I’m going to ask you to please pray for Council Bluffs and Omaha.”

So now here is this strange news. There is reporting that authorities believe the levee was blown up by an unknown group of citizens north of Council Bluffs. And that very good question:

The obvious question that has not been asked by the corporate controlled media is that if the group is unknown how do officials know that they are simply local citizens and not terrorists or rogue intelligence agents????

I’m wondering about Council Bluffs still and
what is with that very large apartment complex evacuated and the National Guard Troops surveying such and the unverified video man’s plea asking to please pray for Council Bluffs and Omaha??? Not that I think he had anything to do. He knew something was amiss over there or why did he bother mention this complex and the National Guard Troops?

Intentional levee breaks haven’t yet lowered flood levels at either Blair-CALHOUN, unchanged in a week at 32.33, or Omaha, up 1.35 feet from 6/23′s 34.67 to today’s last at 36.02.

And more recently in the last 2 hours Blair and Omaha are rising at .96 and 1.68 feet per day.

Levee protected areas generally are holding their own, but Omaha’s large flood area up 1.35 feet in a week tells me huge amounts of floodwater are accumulating in unprotected areas and that the Missouri River pressure is still building.

1.35 more feet of water coming toward your home or business each week is the death by a thousand ripples.
