Newly released footage from Fukushima Daiichi recorded March 13, 2011 with transcribed translation by EXSKF:

This is Materials Group, sorry to interrupt. We are going out to buy batteries and other things. But, uh.., we’re short on cash. For those of you who have cash with you here, we would really appreciate if you could lend it to us. We’re sorry [and embarrassed] but if you have cash, could you let us borrow it? Thank you in advance.

[After this announcement, a senior executive is heard muttering] “No money? That is miserable. We have to do something…”

Just shows how low-tech nuclear plants really are.

…ohh, and while you're down there, could you get a dustpan and brush so we can clean up these unhappy radionuclides? No money? That is miserable. We have to do something… No problems, smile, the rest of the world's paying, put it on their bill…

Tepgo will not be making profit anymore, i can imagine..

    • Johnny Blade Johnny Blade

Sure they are & will continue to profit regardless of the overall status of the company & stock values-"someone"(s) in "Tepgo" make money off of the catastrophic results of their own "f__k-up's" pocketing as much of the monies earmarked for victim compensation funds for themselves, while "cutting corners" and declining public obligations on a global scale regarding their unwillingness to spend the money it'd take to stabilize #4 (for starters!)and make any real effort to scale up the operations to the levels necessary to put things in motion to "contain" the releases and give us "Down-winder's"(everybody?)a break after 600+ days & nights of ongoing "FunkUshitma"'s spewing, spraying, leaking, oozing & finding its way into our food, drink & bodies!!~ SOMEBODY ELSE has to take the reins on this one! Japan & Tepgo-"it's time for you to "SPLIT",like a banana!~No!,better yet-like one of your precious atoms!!!*IDK who should take the helm, but I suspect the primates they "chipped, tagged & bagged"before releasing them back into the woods on the grounds of Fuku 1 with dosimeters would do a better job than the monkeys in $3,000 suits have managed to do so far??!!!…… 🙁

They were too busy paying stockholders billions of yen in dividends to take the time to give the plant a few batteries. Poor executives, such a tough life.

OH darn….I just bought a Ferarri and a truckload of weed for my Daughter's birthday….I don't have any money for batteries.

  • Just a thought….you know the blogs you like? very few have donations available. Somehow that is distasteful, but many have advertisers, espec. geigers and such, emergency supplies.

But think about patronizing these supporters of the blogs. Even if you don't buy, investigating can result in fees to the blogger. think how many hundreds of hours these guys spend.

TEPCO: "NISA is saying it was a hydrogen explosion so let's go along and say it was a hydrogen explosion."
