    Goodness, it's huge!

    • FREEDOMROX

Yeah, that what she said too.

Seriously, this is some major subsidence, and explains why everyone was so nervous speaking last night, especially Dr. Hecox. Something is about let loose.

  • Urban27

Well sinking goes on. It doesn't look
like the water is rising. It's the ground that is sinking.
The litle road strip that use to be between the parking and the water is now gone. I has sunken.

Lots of what appear to be naturally caused earthquakes. No evidence of their being caused by any blasts (like fracking blasts). From my limited knowledge of looking at earthquake "signatures" from seismographic data.

      • HoTaters HoTaters

This would indicate something is causing the ground to move or shift, or some force is causing slippage.

Does the University of Missouri have, in its Seismic Network, seismographic data collection for Louisiana? Have they made any comments on this?

          U. Missouri studies the New Madrid fault zone.

I've been checking them all day myself, and cannot make out what is what. We will know something in about another two hours, cat. Also, some major hiccups on last night's heli's as well.

Stick with the heli's we know for now, as the new ones are a mess, and one even failed today.

I have seen the Climate Viewer and like Mr. Lee's work, just really buggy. Good tool though.

The water(?) is within meters of a full on breach of the 'duck ponds' next to TB's storage facility, I know it's already done it to the north, but this is really going to put the wind up TB.

Video shows new oil slick on the southern part of the sinkhole -on the other side of the rectangular booms..I do see back in the woods to the south of the open water area and booms..a secondary boom winds thru the trees. The open water area, shows welling in the center..a dark area. Not sure what to make of that..but the entire area looks much more flooded. Not comforting. The helicorders..not sure what to make of them..but someone might ask a volcano expert or two..

Jec, I know almost nothing about this area, but is it possible some of the oil or natural gas from one of the pipelines is leaking out of one or more pipelines somewhere, and has found its way into one or more salt dome caverns? Check out map of New Madrid Fault Zone and pipeline maps I posted, above.

Do any of those pipelines travel underground, and if so, where?

I'm pretty sure that the edge of Lake Fubar(*) is 5 – 10 meters further on in each direction than it was a week ago.

    * I never liked the name 'Lake Oxy 3', it sounds like TB named, and if they did I don't think they deserve to.

  • davidh7426 davidh7426

If you look at 00:34 on the 2nd video you can see that a few of the trees next to the northern 'crack are down ( a quarter of the way from the left at the bottom of the image ), if they're starting to collapse here, then where else are they coming down.

  • FREEDOMROX

I agree. The Inspection reports claim about 3 trees a day. As for the name of 'Lake Oxy 3' is simply to remind everyone who is responsible for this madness. I just couldn't figure out how to slip LDNR into it.

  • davidh7426 davidh7426

"I just couldn't figure out how to slip LDNR into it." I find sneaking up behind them helps, then giving them a swift hard push. Though I suspect that it'll just make the sinkhole all the more polluted if you do.

πŸ™‚ devious minds around here πŸ™‚

      • davidh7426 davidh7426

Tempting isn't it… And they wouldn't float either, they'd sink like those stones that they have for hearts.

But Bovine Effluent floats and they'd probably pop up the next time the sinkhole FLUSHES!!!

        • richard richard

would that make them witches ? πŸ˜‰ burn them first πŸ™‚

(i'm just joking, really, i am not suggesting to really burn them, it's just a play on witch hunting – just clarifying my sarc).

          • davidh7426 davidh7426

If you did, they'd probably set off the methane anyway, it's all that hot air inside them, it's just too combustible. Though perhaps we could save them for the fourth of July and fire them off like rockets.

You can see in this flyover what happens when you allow oil drilling and fracking to operate in your area. They have taken over the entire area. I suppose a majority of the former local residents had to approve of the drilling, and sold their mineral rights to the oil companies. Really, people, stop the fracking. Stop the drilling. Don't sell your mineral rights!
