Bureau of Meteorology forecast the diffusion of radioactive material by the Swiss, Swiss Meteorological Bureau via atmc.jp, September 7, 2011:

The dispersion movie shows the forecasted particle dispersion at 3 different heights: 10 meters, 500 meters and 1500 meters.

Even the canadian forecast is not accurate. I found it sometimes contradicted with local weather.

The page was designed to prevent one from seeing the whole video–it was necessary to scroll up and down. There was no clear indication of how far the plume went so it was impossible to know; as far as Hawaii? Not even that far? I learned nothing from it. Obviously, if they can show the plume somewhere in the Pacific, they could have shown it reaching the U.S.

Not to be redundant but like I’ve been saying Watch the jet stream. The information I gathered from this is that the wind at 1500 is carrying the nasties across the Pacific and thus to the US and not just the west coast but across Canada sweeping down into the east contingent on the flow. Hence the increases seen in infant mortality and radiation tainted rainfall in PA. JMHO
