Comment by Grace:

All the posts I’m putting about demos and petitions are getting lost :(

All these brilliant links to health info. are getting lost, as are all these amazing documentary links and links to other groups and organisations, such a wealth of quality material.

Does anyone else think and feel that it would be a good idea to have a few sections in the menu bar for links with brief objective notes so that the knowledge, so hard won by you guys, could be pooled So often the brilliant stuff comes out of conversations, only to be lost in the sheer volume of words.

In order to prevent important information from being lost in the comment sections of old threads, enenews is implementing permanent discussion threads for various topics. For example, the new Post Your Radiation Monitoring Data Here thread.

Please leave your suggestions for topics in the comment section of this post or via the submission form below.

Visit the new Discussion Threads Homepage here: http://enenews.com/discussion-thread-home

There you will find a list of discussion threads, as well as a list of the 20 most recent comments to those threads.

Hopefully it will simulate a forum, except users don’t have the ability to create new topics — but are encouraged to suggest them.

  • ADMIN.

Im just going to be blunt.

There are way too many shills here right now…

Im getting tired of it… Every time our discussions are moving in the right direction, some Asshat pro nuclear / promo tech hops on, tells us that there is no fission, that fog forms in 0 humidity and nuclear fuel cannot explode…

You really might want to consider how to fix this…
Because I feel I am a dedicated user, and that not only I, But many of us are getting tired of these clowns, ruining the conversations…

    Food for though…

    Also you should communicate more…
Give updates, on your views since you started. Your favorite posters, Areas you think the groups should focus ect…

    Another question…
Has anyone made you feel like shutting down (random bad luck, getting pulled over alot? Anyone trying to shut you down or buy you out)…

You should add an about me page… Let us know ideas you have, for the site, and ways we can help you (even doing web mod ect).

    Well TTYl.
    Emmy.

An engineer is conditioned to make assumptions and those who don’t become slaves to making assumptions often have difficulty even graduating or solving problems in classes. This narrow channeling of thought is sometimes forgotten when new situations arise where those assumptions are no longer valid. In the mind of the engineers commenting, the nuclear fuel may not be far from its pristine form with mediators and other controls still present. As the fuel melts, moves, and interacts with other materials, it is difficult to model how gravity, flow, and even percolation is sorting the materials. Also, while nuclear fuel tends to decay within a pattern, with so many wild cards of other elements now thrown in and such large quantities of fuel in play, it may even be difficult to model the fuel state. It is difficult to model chaos.

Just ignore the Shills, stay on message.
You’ve been one of the voices in the wilderness.

      The shills can’t fight reality.

You have no idea how much crap i took in March when I said the Containments were breached, and the shills were saying it’s all contained.
I just kept hammering on the pictures.

Don’t worry, Admin. I totally appreciate your need for privacy and anonymity! (try living near D.C./agencies) This blog should not be about individuals or their agendas. ENENEWS sets forth facts, observations & important news that has been overlooked during the worst nuclear disaster to date.

    Dear Admin,
thank you for listening and working as you do :)

A discussion thread for demos/actions around the world may also prove a messy situation. A drop down, month by month thing may be a more practical solution for people to get involved.
Another drop down thing for petitions also :)

I am not sure, maybe Greenpeace have a list of each anti-nuke group, there are loads, yet so often not joined-up. We need to co-ordinate, network and act together without fear.
We are doing this out of love, surely :)

There is a growing groundswell that has the potential to motivate more and more members of the public, without terrifying them. Most people would rather have a comfortable lie, over an uncomfortable truth, and this is tragic for the beautiful diverse life on our planet.

Anger is a grief reaction and very understandable. This anger, when peacefully directed within organised actions that directly address both the public and the PTB will become a force to be reckoned with, at present there is a lot of energy wasted, a lot of actions are not even getting the recognition form other anti-nukers.

We need to support each other :)

          Nuclear fusion
          ________________________________________
Fusion energy, the awesome power behind the sun and stars, has long been the “holy grail” of nuclear researchers world wide. Its proponents argue the vast potential for cheap, clean energy from hydrogen isotopes extracted from sea water, without the long term radioactive waste associated with nuclear fission. In simple terms, the fusion process works by combining light atoms, such as isotopes of hydrogen, under very high temperatures and pressures to make heavier ones, such as helium. Fission is the opposite: it starts with very heavy atoms, such as uranium, and splits them into two or more pieces called “fission fragments” or “fission products”. Both fission and fusion release large quantities of energy, which can be converted into heat and electricity. Nuclear fusion does produce radioactive waste. However, in contrast to fission produced wastes, they are short lived and decay to background levels in a very short time.
While great strides have been made over the past few decades, the high cost of research, and very expensive hardware, limits most of the work to multi-national consortia. Current research efforts are focused in two main areas: inertial confinement and magnetic confinement. A third method, so called “cold fusion”, had the research community all a-buzz in the early 1990′s with the prospect of a much cheaper alternative. Although cold fusion still has its supporters, most…

The take on Cold Fusion By prof. Christos Stremmenos

            http://www.journal-of-nuclear-physics.com/?p=497

            Conclusion.
“It follows that, according to given data, the Photoelectric phenomenon and the Compton Effect, could explain the absence of radiations in the Focardi-Rossi system, which, from the amount of producing energy versus the consumption of Ni and H2, as well as from the experimental observation of element transformations, lead undoubtedly to the acceptance of hydrogen cold fusion.

            References:
            (1)www. journal-of-nuclear-physics.com /Focardi Rossi/ (A new energy source from nuclear fusion)

            * I believe that the phasmatometric tracing of copper is the most definitive sign of nuclear fusion: From the relative bibliography (HANDBOOK OF CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS, 66TH edition), it follows that the stable non radioactive isotopes of nickel are the following five:

58, 60, 61, 62 and 64. These, when fused with a hydrogen nucleus, are being transmuted relatively to Cu-59, Cu-61, Cu-62, Cu-63 and Cu-65. From these isotopes of copper only the last two (Cu-63 and Cu-65) are not radioactive, i.e. they are stable. The other three Cu-59, Cu-61, Cu-62, are being transmuted again to Nickel, with an average life expectancy of some hours and the most unstable Cu-59 in 18 seconds.”

Not ready to make steam yet, early days though….. :)

“The D + T reaction produces 14.1 MeV neutrons and 3.5 MeV alphas, and in that sense it’s radioactive. The neutrons will slow activate the structure enclosing the plasma chamber, so some of the structure overtime will become radioactive.

          “The D + D reaction produce p + T or n + He3, with about a 50/50 split in probability. T is a low energy beta emitter. In the plasma, T will react with D, n’s will leave the plasma, and He3 may react with D in an aneutronic reaction, (D + He3 -> p + He4).

“There are other radiative processes in plasma that produce radiation, namely recombination (ions recombining with electrons – think Lyman, Balmer, . . . spectra) and bremsstrahlung radiation. With plasmas at keV energies, there is a fair amount of low energy gamma, X-ray and UV.”

Nuclear signatures to be expected from Rossi energy amplifier
          by Jacques Dufour

Abstract: the nuclear signatures that can be expected when contacting hydrogen with fine nickel powders are derived from thermal results recently obtained (Rossi energy amplifier). The initiation of the reactions (either by proton or neutron capture) is not discussed and considered as true. Proposals are made to check the process either by radiation emission measurements or by elemental analysis (ICP-MS)
          1. Intruduction
In a recent paper [1], results are presented on vast amounts of energy (kWh) generated by contacting Hydrogen at pressures of tens of bars and temperatures round 400°C, with nickel powder (with an unspecified additive). No harmful radiations were measured, which is attributed to the presence of a lead shield absorbing γ emission occurring during the run and to the very short period of the instable species formed during the run and decaying after shut down. ….

“It is of interest to note that in [3] a mechanism is proposed, that strongly suppresses the gamma emission during the run (it is the same mechanism that creates very low energy neutrons, subsequently captured by the nickel. This does not suppress the emission after shut-down, which should be observed, together with the transmutations described above.”

Report on iodine MSM doesn’t mention Cesium or mention Cesium but not plutonium or all the other things. Fact that fission makes particles positively charged probably has something to do with how particles get distributed. I have a theory that nuclear bomb tests were really tests on low level exposure. Before Fukushima I was not aware of nuclear energy as a major source of pollution. Now I feel quite strongly it should all be shut down. How to shut down nuclear power would be a good topic. Possibly off topic topics like politics, MSM, anything else that this group has in common. Shills seemed to be handled quite well in the past but maybe now they are more subtle. Respect what Tacomagroove said but I don’t know how to deal with them without having some sort of censorship put in place. I can say when I see a shill sometimes I say nothing but when I see a shill specifically harrassing a certain individual it just makes me believe individual more. In a weird way shills point out the truth.

First of all my sincere thanks to admin, as we are meeting here daily since March and this is the place where you can find all informations and links. For me personally it would be great to have an archive listed by themes where all the important links can be put at. We are helping anyway through this jungle, xdrfox, tacoma, mark, whoopie, rose,…sry when I didn’t name lots of you.
I would not like to see a political thread here, there are other sites who can do so. We here should stay focussed on a good overview on Fukushima, NPP worldwide and reliable informations on a scientific base. I am not a friend of shills and aggressive people who try to show up all their fear they have by harrassing and trolling. But the hardcore here takes care of these people here, anyway.
Also, I would not unveil who you are, admin. All the spies could easily find reasons why they could delete a blog like this – you know what money can do.
Japan somehow is so powerful that even the NRC stays mouth-shut? It seems the Japanese gangsters would like to dispose their nuclear waste insid each and everything worldwide. If they have the power to let all media stay mouth-shut then it would be easy first to concentrate all the people on one site, for example here, and then close it down, so the people who search for informations get lost and mis-or uninformed.
I would like to see a Fuku-main thread, a “rest of the world NPP thread”, all the other ideas mentioned above are ok for me. AND PLEASE:…

I like it that I read RANDOM comments from time to time. I learn something that I might not have otherwise known.

Keep your links or comments in you own document for reference. Links and data become outdated too quickly. The user should keep track of this themselves.

Youtube videos is easy. Setup a FREE youtube user channel and create ‘playlists’ of videos you watch. You can categorize these as I have done. Then reference them as needed.

Click on my user name above to see my youtube channel playlists. This has saved me a lot of time.

The Rad Detector readings thread doesn’t cut it for me. It’s better than nothing, but what is truly needed is a database style page. By Country, State, City, with brand of detector and the user’s level of expertise etc… Otherwise it’s too much jumbled data.

There is something about me, I am angry, I am furious, I am sad about the structures that are present in the ‘civilisation’ on this planet, it is not fair and the little things suffer.

My focus is on the safe shut down of nuclear power, revolution is a mug’s game, Taco was right to say ‘evolution’ of government, both of society at large and of individuals, we control our own minds.

Thoughts, words, deeds, habits, whoops there’s a lifetime, I do not want hate and paranoia in my life.

also perhaps in the same thread , where to get reliable supplies, like potassium iodie pills , water filters etc.

    Dear Admin,

Thanks for your effort on this site, and lots of people whom put their comments and knowledge.

I think that the news website has no problem technically, and it is really help for me.

The main concern it seems on the forum. I suggest to use an Separate Domain for it, and call volunteers to work as administrators for different discuss threads, such as the truth and news of Fukushima, the knowledge of Nuclear containment, the ways to avoid it ,treatment, and “Find out whom is behind of it”,in China we have an Chinese word called RenRou(human meat) to find these people in behind individually, reveals the their personal privacy in details. Even in our dictatorship system, it make them afraid, now some local government officials, when the appear on the government TV ,the put an mask on they face!!

There is a few of very active posters on this website, and at least some of them established the credit to be trust by you, and us readers some way or others.
And I wish that they can work as administrators for different topics on the forums.

The most difficult part of this website may be the possible attack by Hackers, be prepared for it.

I have a close friend running Chinese news website in USA for about 20 years, experienced all kinds of attacks technically and individually from Chinese CCP ,but he survived till today, he has experience on this issue, and I hope he can share most of his expert with Enenews.com for free.

I would think a thread like ‘Possible side effects of Radiation Exposure’ is worth separating out from protection and remedies, etc. People may be experiencing similar unusual symptoms in the same area which probably are not documented anywhere. With fall approaching, leaves falling, first rains – material that had been suspending in trees will be coming down to our level. I like the new changes to the enenews site, btw. Thanks admin.

    Local leaks and cover-ups.

    http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/sizewell_probe_into_water_leak_at_nuclear_power_station_1_1025350

The accident in 2007 was not reported to the public, there were significant releases, only after much pressure did they admit that there were any. I remember it, sirens going off, everyone acting normal, wtf. Turns out a major disaster in one of the spent fuel pools was averted because a laundry worker noticed the very low levels of boiling bonkers water.

If we can do this on a world wide level, the effects will have to be noted. Every year this industry, each plant is permitted a release level. Who is counting the accumulated levels, does this figure get adjusted to account for the monstrous levels from Fuku…. methinks not! Trying to get an answer from WHO about these so-called safe levels and whether they have any input or are these figures entirely at the discretion of the industry.
    Asking questions, raising awareness.

Sending the love to Enenewsers :)

Who gives a damn what WHO thinks?
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Health_Organization
The WHO is financed by contributions from member states and donors. In recent years, the WHO’s work has involved increasing collaboration with external bodies; there are currently around 80 partnerships (“official relations” and “working relations”)[30] with NGOs and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as with foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation. By 2007, voluntary contributions to the WHO from national and local governments, foundations and NGOs, other UN organizations, and the private sector, were more than double the level of assessed contributions (dues) from the 193 member nations.[32]

Just a side note on MSM outlets…

    1. WE the people granted the Nuke-indusrtial complex the rights to oversee the EPA and WHO info before being made public back when we built the bomb.

The new standards (Won’t hurt you-might kill you though!) that were given to MSM were ADVISORIES drafted by the NRC! They couldn’t change what the EPA have on the books, but CAN issue advisory amounts to MSM’s!

So, if you need to know WHY nothing is being said?
Also, the entire MSM engine is owned by only 6 people… they also happen to own things like energy companies, fuel-oil companies, and are relatives of the powers that be.

As a former SGT in the USArmy, and a N.B.C. rapid responce crew member… no amount of radioactive content in your environment, much less your body!… is in any-way healthy!

Answer: “The short answer is essentially none.”

This is their “spin” from the beginning, it is their answer now, and it will not change even when their hair and teeth start FALLing OUT.

I would be horribly embarrassed if that were my photo on the page. Ludicrous, yet not really funny. This guys statement is so far out of line, that this should be PROOF to anyone that the “spin” mode is effect and will remain in effect indefinitely.

    Suggestion: Enenews Timeline.

    Admin, please consider this suggestion:

An interactive timeline to give newcomers (and the rest of us too) an overview of the situation in Fukushima since 3/11.

The sheer amount of data in the Enenews Archives would take a new visitor many days just to browse through.

Those of us who have been with Enenews for a long time have learned to match the bits of information from various articles into a picture of what lies behind the veil of misinformation that covers many of the articles.

It is a bit like driving by a hedge or line of trees. The motion allows you to see trough the branches and foliage and see what lies behind the hedge. If you stop and try to see through the hedge, only a few glimpses of light penetrates through and all you see is the hedge itself. Just reading a few articles does not give a person the insight to know what lies behind some of the articles. A historical timeline of the Fukushima events might help convey the things we have learned.

I imagine that the data could be presented in two columns:
    | What actually happened | What the Pro-Nukers said happened |

The discrepancies between the two columns and the consistency of the discrepancies over time is one of the important lessons I (and many others here, I’m sure) have learned.

I hope it could facilitate newcomers here in getting the overview many of us have developed during the past 9 months.

I am not sure how this should be presented. Perhaps something like the IEEE interactive timeline: http://spectrum.ieee.org/static/fukushima-and-the-future-of-nuclear-power/?utm_source=techalert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=110311

Others here may have better suggestions on how to present this.

Just one of the vitally important enzymes manganese activates is the one that helps the body utilize vitamin C. I also seasoned with thyme (unheated) another antioxidant:
“Thymol—named after the herb itself—is the primary volatile oil constituent of thyme, and its health-supporting effects are well documented. In studies on aging in rats, thymol has been found to protect and significantly increase the percentage of healthy fats found in cell membranes and other cell structures. In particular, the amount of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid) in brain, kidney, and heart cell membranes was increased after dietary supplementation with thyme. In other studies looking more closely at changes in the brains cells themselves, researchers found that the maximum benefits of thyme occurred when the food was introduced very early in the lifecycle of the rats, but was less effective in offsetting the problems in brain cell aging when introduced late in the aging process.
“Thyme also contains a variety of flavonoids, including apigenin, naringenin, luteolin, and thymonin. These flavonoids increase thyme’s antioxidant capacity, and combined with its status as a very good source of manganese, give thyme a high standing on the list of anti-oxidant foods….”

I also drank lost of Bancha Twig Tea: Unfortunately, it is now full of radiation.

“Kukicha tea benefits are numerous and potentially profound. Its primary impact lies in its alkalizing abilities; kukicha tea helps to alkalize the body’s fluids and tissue, thereby balancing acidity levels and preventing disease.

“Kukicha twig tea has the strongest alkalizing ability of any Japanese tea. It is also packed with nutrients. A cup of twig tea is a good source of calcium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese and fluoride. It is also a rich source of B-complex vitamins, vitamin C and A, flavonoids and the same polyphenols that have made green tea known as a cancer-fighting food, catechins.

“Catechins act as powerful antioxidants, minimizing the effect of free radicals before they have a chance to damage other cells. One catechin in particular, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) has twenty-five to one hundred times the antioxidant capability of vitamins C and E, which are the primary water-soluble and fat-soluble antioxidants. Research has shown that EGCG may not only prevent cancer, but also suppress tumor growth, and block enzymes which help to spread cancer within cells. Many have claimed eating a macrobiotic diet, including kukicha twig tea is a cure for some cancers. Although there is no scientific evidence of this, George Ohsawa may be correct – kukicha tea is one of the most balancing beverages, and therefore is an integral part of optimal health.

“The best thing about kukicha tea is that it helps to maintain proper functioning of the kidneys and liver, two crucial body organs that aid the process of decontamination. Kukicha tea has natural ingredients that are proven to have detoxification activities and antioxidant properties. This helps your body remove unwanted by-products and harmful wastes, keeping you disease- free and healthy.

“Kukicha tea also aids in production of bile, which subsequently enhances digestive processes in the body. …”
