Building3 explosion blew the concrete right off that rebar!
View of the floor of SFP3 shows no racks or fuel assemblies, at least none that I can see at this end of SFP3.
Admin. Are there any more of these?

1. It's TEPCO footage. Who even knows what they're showing us here. That might be the equipment pool or another unit entirely.
2. None of the shots is looking downward far enough to see any detail about the top of the fuel assemblies, much less the floor of the SPF. It would be a GOOD thing (relatively speaking) if the fuel assemblies were blown out a year and a half ago. They would have done their damage, are not going to burn (if they haven't by now) and just have to be collected up and hid somewhere in the forest. Better than still in the pool, where they continue to pose a threat.

This was the footage from last November of SPF3. Is it even the same pool? I can't tell, and I still can't make out anything that looks like a fuel assembly. The 'new' footage is equally useless. We only get to see the heavily edited (and sometimes poorly Photoshopped) TEPCO-scrubbed versions.

Good pictures.

Agreed; not a fuel rod in sight, ANYWHERE..

I agree with PupNorth, I see no evidence of fuel bundle handles which are quite distictive looking, shiny/white and diagonal across the top of the bundle. If they were there, they would show it just to prove it. They can't show what they don't have.

To be fair to TEPCO (not that they deserve it) they say right on the handout that the purpose of using the camera was to "…investigate the condition of the tip of steel members partially immersed in the pool water…" and not to locate or show the fuel assemblies. They must be getting ready to yank some of that junk out of the pool and don't want to accidentally drag any glow sticks up at the same time.
Not that they care about irradiating anyone. They're worried about banging up any of the fuel rods any more than they are. That would hurt the resale value on eBay.

Hard to tell…I also see nothing of spent fuel, but there are big overhanging areas the crane camera can't see.
Chris…can you tell us where the fuel racks would be in relation to the overhead photo? Bottom right corner? Or lots of corners?

What about this one? What are those metal sections on the top left and below in the water?

FUKU is turning out to be much like the following; complete cover ups, denials and lots of spin.
Los Angeles Nuclear Plant Meltdown; Completely Covered Up; via A Green Road http://agreenroad.blogspot.com/2012/03/los-angeles-nuclear-plant-meltdown.html

Guessing, but it looks like TEPCO removed a lot of debris, pillars and floors plus roof wreckage wherever they could and this is where they are at now, a fuel pool full of rubble. Fuku-Diary says the overhead shot is pixelated (again) so nothing to see underwater.
Can't believe the 35 ton crane was removed without mentioning it, might still be under the rubble.
Remember, this is my guessing.
