Japan is in a perfect location for tidal and wind power. They do not need nuclear power, having said that nobody needs nukes. IMHO

Japan is a perfect island for solar power. They get lots of sunlight when the summer heat is on.

They can erase the tapes like Nixon did, but it won't salvage their reputation. Nixon is regarded as the worst president…Tepco will be regarded forever in Japan in the same manner. They can lie and try to hide their actions…but they will never escape the verdict of history.
