Title: Fukushima student addresses Nagasaki peace meet

She has been appointed a “High School Peace Ambassador” — the first from Fukushima — and will deliver a petition against nuclear weapons to the United Nations.

Takano said the nuclear accident is continuing and that the affected areas are being devastated.
She added that people are still living in temporary housing about a year and a half after the accident.
Takano said she wants everyone to learn about the situation in Fukushima and to help reconstruction efforts in the area.

I think a better word is "evacuation".

A rally and demonstration to demand Koriyama City to evacuate children was held on October 15, 2011 in Koriyama City in Fukushima Prefecture. Roughly 500 people participated in it.
The first speaker at the rally in this video is Mr. Toshio Yanagihara, attorney of the plaintiff.
The second speaker is Mr. Taro Yamada, an actor, but recently more well-known as an anti-nuke activist.
The third speaker is Ms. Chie Ito, an evacuee from Koriyama City to Tokyo.
The fourth speaker is Ms. Sadami Watabe, from Independent Living Center in Tamura City.

Women's "Die-In" against the Restart of Ooi Nuke Plant (Jun/07/2012)

On June 7, 2012, about 70 women including 10 women from Fukushima did a "die-in" in front of the Prime Minister's Official Residence to protest against the restart of Ooi Nuclear Power Plant. Before the die-in, 10 Fukushima women visited the Cabinet Office and met with officials to submit a letter of requests addressed to Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
This video clip shows the words from the Fukushima women and part of the die-in.

On the very next day, June 8, 2012, Prime Minister Noda held a press conference and declared he would restart Ooi Nuclear Power Plant.
