Arnies handlers finally gave him the green light to talk about casualties?

NO KIDDING! But Arnie and Fairwinds is trying. Do you see others doing as much as they are trying to do. Sometimes one has to play along with the game to STAY in the game. And this is one heck of a political hot potato! Look at Japan's "arrest the rumor makers" concept. That can happen in other countries as well. So don't fault Arnie if he trying to get a message out, hes doing it. Even if its not as strong a message as everyone wants..either way.

Everything Arnie G has said has been said online by common folks, ever since Fuku blew to today.

Hes says nothing we dont already know or have figured out for ourselves. And in many cases, months ahead of his reports.

His opinion is anecdotal, at best.

Hi el, but don't you think it makes a big difference for the "general public" to hear these statements from a nuclear engineer? I think it does!
And I give Arnie credits for being all over the place – I mean, others at his age are enjoying retirement, whereas he obviously feels obliged to spread his knowledge on dozens of videos, interviews, conferences….where's Christopher busby by the way? Long time no see!

        Report Comment

      • Disagree. As one of many examples, he was first up on the hot particle issue. He was first up on the weakness of the MK I BWR design and first up on the problem with spent fuel pool 4. Noone else has pressed home the point that Tokyo and parts of the N American west coast would have to be evacuated.

Additionally, Arnie doesn't have any handlers. He was sued and ruined by the nuclear industry.

And as I was researching this more, I thought–If Gundersen was sued in a defamation case, all he had to do, was prove his claims true in Court. But he didnt do that, he settled out of court. So, we dont know why he did that, or wether his claims were true or not. One would think that if his claims were true, he only needed to provide proof. Instead we are left wondering…..

Is he blowing a whistle or tooting his own horn?

          Report Comment

          • What claim was he sued for? Might make a difference. But nukes have literally all the money and all the power in the world, your average person can't take them on even if there's all the physical evidence and documentation anyone could hope for.

Oh… and nothing gets "proven" in court. That's where technologically clueless judges and/or juries rule on how convincing they think one side is over the other. Has nothing much to do with 'truth' or 'facts'.

Gundersen ceased to be relevant around last July. He consistently minimizes or denies ongoing emissions, and understates the threat to North America. That in itself doesn't bother me, he has a right to his own opinions. The problem is that he is being pushed by himself, this website and other sites as a spokesman for us, and I don't believe he is worthy of such a thing.

It's become "let's all unite behind Arnie", and if anyone disagrees, he or she is "dividing" the "movement", or whatever thing that the PTB have designated that we are in order to destroy our viewpoints.

    Critical thinking poll;

Whom here have seen the televised radio interview where Arnie Gundersen is told by radio host that the actual construction workers of nuclear plants have told him that the reactors were NOT built to specifications, AT ALL. Gundersen smiles (?!!!) and says YES, I've had construction workers from these nuclear plants plants approach me with the same thing. They cut off the threads of the retaining bolts, and just press the head of the bolt into the fresh concrete, to make it look like it has all the fasteners called for in the blueprints. You've known that for DECADES Arnie? HHmmmmmmm….

More obviously, Alex Jones new years eve broadcast of 1999 is the most offensive collection of boldfaced lies. A modern Orwell.

If these comments offend you, perhaps you need to seperate your emotions from your critical thinking ability.
I won't post the links, it's not my job to think for you, as this info has been out for more than a decade.

Lately, the ugly head of 'divide and rule' (largest societial tool in use today) has reared its head on this site. When we attack each other, we perform the evil task of the pro-nukers, reducing our own ranks. This is childish and will only limit our ability to effect change in this silly world.

Lastly, censorship is the sword of the despot/dictator. There IS NO EXCUSE for trying to censor, OR EVEN MODIFY (!!!), someones free speech.
    Bad form…………..

As for Alex,….I'd sure hate to be judged by my 1999 slip up.
Does the man deserve to never be listened to again? Not in MY UNIVERSE!

stilljill, its natural to take these personalities and identify with them as we do with ourselves, with the same human attributes. Critical Thinking is the only thing you can do to tell fact from fiction.

A mistake is made when identifying with said personalities as our own. Give a man a soap box, an you see the effect. You have a very small soap box in comparison. So, when a human makes claims in the public sphere, he is opening himself up to criticism, and it is right of us to do so. A man can lie to you, you dont have to buy it. But when a man has MULTIPLE strikes against his credibility, it does matter. An Ad hominim could be claimed here with Arnie and Alex. But only if you are looking at one instance–there are many more, and that is what makes these guys non-credible sources. You can take what they say with a grain of salt, but ultimately they cannot be taken at face value until youve looked into the credibility of their info.

If you havent actually listened to AJs Y2K broadcast–you should. I find it hard to believe people can take him seriously after hearing THAT insanity.

In our day and age it takes someone like Alex Jones whose on the edge of being "off his rocker" – these are the only people willing to take the risk of reporting on what the mainstream meadia labels "fringe".

At least we have a leaking news media outlet for Fukushima info. This does not invalidate Arnie's testimony that he would "stoop" to spread the word by whatever means.

The bit about the bolt heads just points out that,

    a) there is not, nor has there ever been, enough integrity in men for them to be constructing, operating, or managing something which can destroy a large geographic area
    and
    b) no person or company should be allowed to own or operate something with the capacity to destroy a large geographic area

And in the odds vs. stakes analysis, the odds of an accident have been proven too high for nuclear power, and the stakes are large geographic areas, if not the world.

It should be common sense they are all shut down ASAP and the spent fuel all dry casked or otherwise safely dealt with AMAP (as much as possible).

What evil possesses men to think otherwise?

Every alarm clock in my head goes of the minitue someone or somebody trys to beat a slice into this and starts to highlight whos doing what.
    Go fu.. your self.

The problem is not credibility, I have seen some og the pictures taken by Him on oter reactore sites and they are all, without exeption, hearraising.
And dont for a minute try to distract anyone into a divertion and dilutuion on whats been sayed in this site.
I hate that above all else, undemocratic fu..

MSM is the main obstacle and have been that since day one, they are the Problem, not Joe Rogans or Arnie. Axel j. is a person that lives by the same as others do, inforamtion.

I wounder fu..ers do you want to face the children in Fukushima and tell the the reason for this delaymg was Driwel about Credibility, against Japan and TEPCO. And dont even forgett that the medie blackout have been total, in a global scale.
Anyone talking and promoting this fight against the Lunatics and criminals incharge is a positive thing, anyone.
And I KNOW the children will agree with me, fu..

I am stunned and despiced by this atemts to fog up an noble cause, a cause we all are wictims of, all over the globe.

And as I have stated it before, nothing will happen, if WE dont do anything.
    Nothing will happend.

Sir, you should have more faith in people to use critical thinking and come up with their own conclusions. The anger you feel is the reaction to suggesting to challenge the experts. Why not trust yourself for a change?

Posting quotes is a pretty ineffectual way to call to action as well, but if it makes you feel better about your point, its your world.

Posting questions about credibility of the info we are SATURATED with is actually very fair, if you want to talk about "democracy" I see you have bought the "Democracy is fair" myth, but hey–maybe it really does work as planned in the world you live in.

Mikeal–the only solution to this problem lies in people to come to a critical understanding of the facts given to us by experts, and the fallacious way they lie to us. Do you know what Fallacies are? If you did, I doubt you would think Democracy was a good thing.

Either way, my point isnt to turn anyone away from the info that is provided. Its to use critical thinking and research to spot the bad info so your mind is not polluted with nonsense. You cant do this without faith in ability to think.

        El,

It's "critical thinking" that has got us into this mess. Like this your entire agrument for more of this bullshit is off the mark.

Mother Nature, as Arnie so rightfull notes, is too unpredictable to be able to outwit.

I say, lets convert to solar enery and to Hell with all this radioactive crap being spewed around the planet – creating a new Genesis experiment on all life forms.

Our "brilliant" thinkers have brought us to the brink of an ELE.

These FOIA-obtained documents will also help to show the scope of the Fukushima cover-up.

Plume-gate: Secret documents prove global cover-up of continued Fukushima radiation pollution
Saturday, May 12, 2012 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

"According to information gathered from hundreds of pages worth of private NRC emails, conference calls and secret meetings, key players in the Fukushima whitewashing campaign, including the NRC's David McIntyre and Elliot Brenner, were hard at work in the days following the disaster distracting public attention away from it. By pretending that a radioactive plume did not exist while simultaneously sending out misinformation to the media, these two, in conjunction with White House officials, actively participated in a criminal cover-up of the truth."

The key operative word that must be avoided triggering at all costs, according to the criminal elite, is PANIC.

Like this they justify their actions to the determient of all.

It's all about "let's not rock the boat" in politics, finance, and media – the criminal elite.

After all, why create panic when dumbing down will do just as well in order to achieve their criminal ends.

I have much to learn so I can rephrase my own evaluation as to how much brainwork it takes to detect that a major problem requiring massive public comment to prancing, ignorant but arrogant poltroon leadership. If it is not a smear in their camera makeup, the leadership gets lost. the cost of faith is more than we can afford. Rich suckers be damned if necessary.
