Title: New Fukushima scare blamed on faulty thermometer
Source: Reuters
Date: Feb 13, 2012 2:02am EST
[...] Junichi Matsumoto, Tepco’s general manager, told reporters on Monday [...] there was little sign of steam, which would be produced when water is at such a high temperature, and Tepco believes the reactor is still in cold shutdown, meaning temperatures are stable below boiling point. [...]
“The instruments are showing readings that are difficult to understand but I believe we don’t have to change our view that the plant is in cold shutdown,” [Environment Minister Goshi Hosono] said in parliament.
“Nevertheless we continue to assess the situation ready for all possibilities.”

Of the recent footage from inside the Reactor No. 2 containment vessel, nuclear expert Arnold Gundersen said on a Feb. 11 broadcast (at 5:40 into the program): “They sent a little camera into Reactor No. 2, you can’t see much, it’s high, high humidity which you’d expect because the nuclear core is not in the nuclear reactor its on the floor, so all of that heat is creating steam and looks like sort of like a scene from the movie Alien, everything is kind of dripping and oozing.”

sending...
Why don't they lower a new Temp. sensor into the hole they bored into the side of it for the endoscopic camera , if they could lower some kind of cable sending unit down in there , perhaps they could comfirm the reading …
Maybe they don't want to know, it might upset their 'State of cold shutdown'

Spot on Whoopie-san, as usual.
There is only one issue.
Shutting down nuclear anything is a globel imperative that overshadows all else and encapsulate quite frankly every woe.
There so much more I want to say, but I have to study my nihongo, we have have a quiz tonight.
Growing-up in San Diego I remember this song on KOGO radio.

Think about it, any shaking or Earth movement will cause the 3 “missing corium(s) to restart what I call “The Fuky Effect” and I expect to see increased signs of radiation in Northern Japan as well as additional temperature spikes “in temperature gauges that are not reading properly” at Fukushima!

Total Denial is no longer acceptable!

What is wrong with this "Picture"?
1. Tepco is one the "GANGS" that runs Japan.
2. What is good for TEPCO is good for Japan.
3. The Japanese people MUST OBEY TEPCO for the "GOOD" of the Country.
4. The financial health of TEPCO is more important than the physical health,
… of the Japanese People and all their FUTURE children!
5. Only TEPCO knows what is best, all others must BOW to TEPCO's Rule.

We now are being ruled by those in Nuclear Denial*; instead of by Leaders that demand an end to the Trillion Dollar Eco-Disaster RISK that Nuclear poses to mankind! The nuclear industry is fighting tooth and nail to maintain it's market share; yet NOW Solar (of all flavors) is far less costly to construct, faster to construct and carries with it N☢ Nuclear radioactive baggage that can kill a Countries economy and or those living nearby!
Ask The Japanese!

Solar is great but it has one big disadvantage, it doesn't work at night. Fix that and become an instant billionaire!
