Nuclear Expert: Tepco is admitting they are very close to China Syndrome at Fukushima, where melted fuel penetrates earth (VIDEO)

Published: December 6th, 2011 at 7:55 am ET

Kevin Kamps on The Fukushima China Syndrome, Thom Hartmann Program, Dec. 5, 2011:

Thom Hartmann talks with Kevin Kamps, Beyond Nuclear: about concerns of a major environmental catastrophe at Japan’s damaged nuclear power reactor.

At 2:00 in

  • They’re admitting that there has been very deep melt-through at No 1, only a foot and a half left
  • Then its a pretty short course into the environment into the soil into the groundwater
  • Bear in mind this is all a computer simulation
  • So what kind of shenanigans are they playing with the computer modelling?
  • They are admitting they are very close to the final steel barrier to prevent penetration of the earth which is by definition the China Syndrome

The news just keeps getting better. Of course, the MSM in the US won’t react until there is some good pyro video since most are too stupid to understand and can’t do homework beyond some sex story. Pitiful.

Americans just live for the next big fireworks display!

Beer’s cheaper than soda, both are usually loaded with fluoride, which is mildly psychoactive, so alot of bang for a buck! That’s what we’re used to.

We used to be a hardworking people, but the global elite stole all our jobs so we could make alot less money in order to have to buy those cheap crap from China goods from Walmart putting mom and pop out of business too: merchandise soaked with the slave labor that are forced to chain their small children onto streetlight posts all winter while they work a 16 hour day…no talking and no bathroom breaks

Life is sure better with GE and Walmart!

      • Al-Chemisto

Fluoride appears to be psychoactive. It is not. It is pathological, it kills cells. Plain and simple. It is the active ingredient in Prozac and Zoloft, which target psycho-active cells (and many other cells) for death. Fluoride was developed (most recently) as a population control agent in Nazi Germany and subsequently the Soviet gulag system.
The myth of dental health and fluoride is just that. There are *no* academic studies (or other studies for that matter) that find a positive connection between fluoride use and dental health. A site to review is
It is interesting to discuss fluoride on this site as fluoride’s myth was created as a PR campaign (smokescreen) to allow fluoride leaks (and deaths) associated with large industry and classified government programs (larger industry!): namely nuclear enrichment.

“Mandrake, have you never wondered why I drink only distilled
water, or rainwater, and only pure-grain alcohol?” so said Jack Ripper in Dr Strangelove 😉

Pure distilled fluoride in tiny doses does help make strong caries-resistant dentine. Sorry it’s a fact. Some Greenies claim that Australian authorities are using fluoride from toxic industrial sources to fluoridate our water supplies. If it is contaminated with heavy metals maybe it’s the contaminants that are making you/us sick??

          • vivvi

they are right, the sick bastards in australia are using hydrofluorosilisic acid in our water, and have made the legislation say the people cannot sue them if they are injured by this poison in the water, and no you cannot opt out, you will be fluoridated whether you want it or not. corrupt mother raping scumbags.

I have always believed it was the toothbrush that led to better tooth health…not fluoride.

oh and wasn’t that “industry” in Texas and related to the Bush family? seems like I read something like that back in the 80s…

We knew this two months after the accident. These trained lackeys at the universities are now just coming around to seeing the problem. Concrete and steel strenghts are a function of temperature. Concrete and steel are not good for 3000 deg C. Concrete will collapse at 760 deg C. Steel looses its strenght between 800 deg F and 1000 deg F. Instead of these eggheads trying to find the next subatomic particle maybe they should study the elements of stress analysis.

    • ion jean ion jean

Yeah, and wonder what kind of new and nasty radioisotopes we’ll get to taste and smell from all that molten steel combining with a hydrovolcanic groundwater heavy hydrogen explosion?

    • moonshellblue moonshellblue

The corium will go through the steel like butter, I just wonder how long it will be perhaps on Tepco’s cold shutdown date by the end of the month.

Yes at around 16:00 Dec 6th, TEPCO webcam time–a flare and now bright combustion–with a plume pumping gases straight up into the atmosphere..looks like a jet..and the fire/flare..whatever it large and seems to have pulses–On this sites webcam discussion a blogger, Nuckelchen, has captured the footage-from the start of the explosive phase. Eye Opening…

  • ion jean ion jean

I really beg to differ with the whole “China Syndrome” terminology.

This scenario was not even dreamed of in the 1970s…just ten years earlier, the Pentagon still thought it feasible to dump nuclear waste out into space via rockets…

We are in uncharted waters here so I will venture to call this Chernobyl times 100 (fur real!)

THE JAPAN SYNDROME and I pray to God that I get to tell this tale to my unborn healthy fertile grandchildren!

    • ion jean ion jean

Oh and thank you TEPCO for the first statement you guys made that wasn’t a LIE

    • Whoopie Whoopie

JAPAN Syndrome…NEVER BEFORE EXPERIENCED. Totally in agreement.

    • jimbojamesiv

What’s the problem (other than the weight) with sending it out to space, which I recommended a long, long time ago,?

Sending the waste into space sounds weigh better (get it) than dumping the shiite into the Pacific Ocean, even if it costs a million trillion bazillion dollars, and we’d be as a species way better off and so would the rest of the planet?

      • sophiesChoice

what would happen when a rocket explodes in mid-air and all that nuclear waste is scattered throughout the atmosphere? Not good, me thinks.

    • truthseek truthseek

@ion jean. I am with you… All of humanity is in completely uncharted territory, there is no formal scale or background from which to model the whole mess, determine where it may be headed or formulate .any. plausible back-up or contingency plan, …we are on our own…

Kind of like pumping confetti into the air, it starts to almost flow like lava in a dense field. Oh thats right we are talking about toxic pollution almost like it is noxious smoke off a chimney stack permeating everything, being stinky… just annoying.

But NO [my fear] Silent .eventual. death is here… awaits us. The act of dilution only spreads it out further, placing everyone (everywhere) at risk.

… so sorry to sound so grim,
      just profoundly worried …

  • Hope you all are well down that Bucket List by now !~

  • MSM reported here in germany about the strontium leak that “300 liters! of water seeped through a crack in concrete” and that the crack got filled soon…..#
no word about a ruined plant not containing anything anymore except slow death
so MSM might catch up but it is a long way to hear bare metal facts.

    • farawayfan farawayfan

They will never catch up, because they are refusing to. The 300l article is another admitting to a lesser problem to distract from the greater. It’s a fantastic technique employed by small children who don’t know better and sociopathic liars across the world. Wait, I think that describes MSM, Tepco and most governments….

  • isn’t this…flare…exactly where that smaller orange one was on Friday?

well, there’s some fireworks for the US MSM.

    i ask you.

  • bleep_hits_blades

@volts commissar-You’re ‘dead’ wrong about fluoride.

Do a little online research. This info is ‘a click away…’

Fluoride’s a toxic industrial by-product and rat poison. It also has a sedative effect, ingested in regular small doses. Bull breeders used to use it to make the animals easier to handle. It was used in Soviet and German prison camp water supplies to keep the inmates easier to handle. This info is readily available.

Anyway – I missed it if my previous question was answered … what makes the CHINA SYNDROME so especially bad? …Considering the huge on-going ‘death by a thousand dis-integrations’ that has been coming at us for the past 9 months and is going to be continuing into the foreseeable future (however long – or short – that may be).

Also – wasn’t China Syndrome INEVITABLE from the get-go? And hasn’t it already happened (corium has met groundwater)? And don’t ‘they’ know that and are just pretending to be ‘checkin’ it out Bro and you will know as soon as we do….????????????

    • jimbojamesiv

You know if you swallowed a whole bunch of lime you might die, but we still use it as soil fertilizer.

So many medicines are toxic, that’s why there’s the whole notion of dosage, or perhaps it’s called pharmacology?

      • jimbojamesiv

I think if you’d check lists of herbs which for thousands of years were used as anti-spasmodics, you’d also find that they too are toxic either in significant dosages.

Do you have any comprehension of what you’re talking about?

  • jdotg

His about me section has no information about his education. wtf.

Either way, the guy is wrong. Doesn’t know how the plants are built..his specialization is waste management.

    Go here:

Go to page 23. The second image, you will see a schematic of RPV and primary containment. You will notice a heavy black line. This is the “steel barrier,” which is about to be penetrated. When it penetrates this steel barrier. It still has 7.6m of concrete to travel through. the base of the entire building/reactor. That is about 25 feet of concrete. Go to page page 35 for a better understanding.

    • dpl dpl

seems like you are an expert in NPP construction.
tell us j.g how do you stop the meltdown? or do you just let it burn out.

      • jdotg

Do you just discredit everything I say because YOU don’t understand it. Or do you not like what I have to say? Why don’t you stick your head in, your choice of reactor, and tell us where the corium is, to help us out ?

Besides, the guy is wrong, I told you why, with evidence to back it up. There is no need to attack me.

Where exactly are the multiple tons of water that are flushed into these reactors per hour going? Answer that question.

Oh thats right, its circulating over/around/through the core. That is why its 1 million times over the EPA’s legal limit, and that is just the measurement of strontium.

In the early days of the accident, we could see steam. We no longer do.

The temperature estimates from different parts of these reactor’s show that the temperature is nowhere near high enough to melt concrete. Its been 9 months just about. As long as the water is a flowing, we are heading in the right direction.

The worst of the meltdown is definitely behind us, and sorry if you don’t believe it. But I do. Now we must face the aftermath of the radiological releases and decommissioning of these reactors which will take 30+ years.

and honestly DPL, get off my case, if you dont like it; dont read it and dont comment. Thanks.

        • dpl dpl

your arguments are as full of holes as are the RPVs which also don’t hold water.

          • jdotg

If you have any evidence which contradicts that there is not a 7.6m basemat.

            please link me.

until then blow it out your ass

            • dpl dpl

the EQ ,tsunami and explosions have damaged the containment (basemat)it has cracks it is leaking. the water they have to continually pour in to cool the southbound cores is running out faster than your credibility.

    • NukeisShit

Sorry jdotg…but no matter how much the base is thick. If noboby cools down the molten mass, any barrier would just delay an inevitable fate. A core can burn for a very, very long time…

      • jdotg

Where exactly are the multiple tons of water that are flushed into these reactors per hour going? Answer that question.

    • reVivre

Yes I also stumbled across this “… and then it’s pretty short course into the environment/ into the soil…” (2:20).
What information does he have that there aren’t these further 7.6m concrete underneath the final steal layer?

Have a look at ex-skf on 30.11 – there are 4 articles on the corium and lot of worth comments (and partly trying to figure this out as well).

But all these are only shematics (no real blueprints released) and the infos based on simulations.
It’s such a crime that all offered help from outside sientists is refused and leave the world to wait for another explosion to varify it touched groundwater.

Fluoride accumulates in the body and is difficult to de-tox. It is not something that is flushed out. In fact our bodies are on toxic overload now due to all the many synthetic chemicals in our air, food, water, cosmetics, etc. and pharmaceutical ‘medicines.’ Average life span is actually declining. Cancer rates have skyrocketed in the past century, like many other degenerative illnesses. Holistic non-toxic therapies are actually outlawed, including one I personally was on that saved my life, called the Gerson Therapy. Big pharma and the AMA have gained that much control of the legislators, that they can get laws past criminalizing the competition.

We are being mass drugged against our will. Even if fluoride did help fight tooth decay, it would only help kids of a certain age. But we are all being dosed, all of our lives, just randomly depending on how much water we drink, etc.

In fact, a good case can be made for fluoride being another way the elites have of achieving de-population goals. It contributes (causally) to the shortening average life span.

  • thelili

jdotg I can appreciate the fact that this is very upsetting to you but did you read the very first article? It discusses where the water is going.
